I used to fish at the second spot many years ago, never had the kind of luck you guys are having here. Caught only humus, eels, and tiny papio. I guess the oama makes the big difference, and the T leaves. The place usually has a lot of surfers.
I caught a 7lb Oio on live oama. First and only time that has happened to me. Recently, I caught an Oio with somebody's spoon type lure still in it's lip...I was dunking squid.
