Based on all this equipment already on scene and a ladder up, this fire should have been knocked down LONG before this video started. Like the vast majority of FDNY fire videos. You stop, activate the pump and deck gun one window. All the gasses including any steam will continue exiting out the other window. Then you change windows and you have pretty much stopped combustion, eliminated extension, drastically cooled the space and protected everyone in the structure and the entering firefighters. Watch how long they ALLOWED the fire to burn.
