Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Then what about the church of Laodicea? They’re one of the churches we read of in Revelation, a body of believers, otherwise Christ would not have addressed them. He said He will spew them out of His mouth because of their apathy.
@@Gloriagal78 The church at Laodicea was neither cold, openly rejecting Christ, nor hot, filled with spiritual zeal. Instead, its members were lukewarm, hypocrites professing to know Christ, but not truly belonging to Him (cf. Matt. 7:21).

By the way Jesus promised the Spirit makes His dwelling in the hearts of Christian believers and He will be there FOREVER. You can effectively "lose" your salvation if YOU never had it. But Christ says come back and receive it for real! Have you looked at what says the opposite in 1 Timothy 4 (KJV) "Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith" & many verses state you must MAINTAIN your faith. That's why John 3:16 says "whosoever believeth" in the present, and not "believed" once in the past. The CONFUSION is.... (read more below) The confusion is in that some verses stems from the fact that WE are stuck in the time & space GOD created. He's outside of it. All the SCIENTIFIC evidence now points to this; that our universe is not eternal, and was CREATED during a "big bang" moment (just like the Bible says). The fact is Genesis 1:1 has always spoke of a big bang, despite this being AGAINST the science belief up and into the early 20th century. But since God created and is outside of time, He knows if we ARE going to maintain our faith or not. So to God it is OSAS, because He knows who will maintain their faith. But to us humans stuck in linear time, we DO NOT know the future. So like it implies at 0:11 in the video , we don't know if we will STAY in the faith, or if we are just fooling ourselves and saying the words. And if we don't stay in the faith, then we were faking it all along, and we never were made born again (John 3) by God, even if we think we were.

In my years of studying this and pondering this, I've come to this conclusion. Once a person has truly committed their life to Christ, and submitted their entire being to Him, that person is eternally saved. It will then come naturally to that person to produce fruit and good works from the Holy Spirit indwelling them, all while working out the life-long process of sanctification, and dealing with the continual fleshly struggle of sin.
@@jacksonrelaxin3425 I said it IS Biblically based and also backed by many theologians. A theologians job is to literally study the Bible and be an expert in the area, that's as biblically based as you can get. It seems like you just want to argue, so I'm going to leave it at this. Have a great day brother.
Thank you so much for this explanation!!! This really reassures me how faithful God is and how there is nothing we can do to separate ourselves from Him once we are with Him. We are not perfect, but He is. All glory be to Him. Thank you Jesus for your eternal salvation. 🙏🙌❤
Most Protestants believe that Christians will never lose their Salvation (OSAS - Once Saved Always Saved) based on Romans 4:8, "BLESSED is the one whose sin the Lord (Christ) will never account against them."... Furthermore, most Protestants say that the Elect given by the Father (God) to Christ Jesus will never ever lose their Salvation." (ref. John 6:37-39)... It seems to me those Elect given by the Father (God) to Christ Jesus to keep had lost their Gift of FREEWILL... for God will and must not FAIL... which means those Elects given by God to Christ Jesus, guarantees that they could not make any sin or if they did sin, those sins will not be accounted for them for Christ washed them with His blood until the end of their lives on Earth so that they could be SAVED... as if No FREEWILL for them in reality... But the Bible did not support this assumption... for St. Matthew said, "Anyone who PERSEVERES and ENDURES until the end will be SAVED." (ref. Matt. 24:13)... St. Paul wrote to Timothy before he was beheaded, "I run to the fullest, finish the race, and I have kept the FAITH." (ref. 2 Tim. 4:7)... Logically speaking, why will the Elects given by God to Christ need (HAD) to PERSEVERE, ENDURE, FINISH THE RACE, and KEEP THE FAITH... if God will not let them commit any SIN accountable to them until their last breath on earth to be SAVED, for God must/should not fail?... (as Dr. White claimed) The word "BLESSED" is an adjective that gives/indicates conditions on how to be BLESSED... How?... Christians who persevere and endure to the end are called BLESSED... those Peacemakers are called BLESSED... those who hunger and thirst and poor in spirits are BLESSED... those who have not seen but believe are BLESSED...etc... (The Beatitudes) In Conclusion, Protestants are entitled to their own Opinions and Beliefs... but they were definitely wrong in their interpretation of the Biblically TRUTH without compromise... Christians can lose their Salvation, but those who persevere and endure till the END will be SAVED."... Praise be to God in Christ... Amen.
Never heard such clear teaching. Profound message spoken in just a few minutes. God has gifted you with ability to say great things in a simple way. May He use you for His greater glory in the days to come.
I once heard it said “it is arrogant and blasphemous to think any sin man has done is greater then what Christ did on the cross” What God has joined together (the bride and bridegroom), let no man (including yourself) tear apart
It's false. Salvation is not lost even if one goes back in one's commitment. The moment one believes in the blood atonement and finished work of Jesus Christ, believes Christ died for one's sins, one receives salvation which guarantees eternal life.
For those that struggle with sin know that God still promised you eternal life. The reason He allowed Jesus to be crucified for our sins is because He loved us so much & knew nobody can ever be sinless. There’s a mention in this video that if you’re living in sin then you’re not saved anymore. If you accepted the free gift of Grace through what Jesus did on the cross & resurrection then you’re sealed until the day of redemption. That’s God’s promise. You’ll probably be chastised for your sins but never snatched out of his hand. The scriptures tell us that.
Then why are some preachers said, you can lose your salvation and once saved always saved is false and quotes scriptures,, so if that is true there surely Hell will be full!! The other preachers say once you are saved you cannot ever lose your salvation and Hell will never claim you and shown scriptures!! Who is right and who is wrong!! I really thought once you were saved it was a done deal and nothing can change that now ai am hearing differently !! Different preachers different answers!! Confused very confused!!
@@MLewis-u4l I understand your point. God knows your heart. Yes different preachers like to pick & choose certain scriptures to prove their point but there’s always a scripture that proves them wrong. If you feel guilty after sinning that’s a clear sign you have the Holy Spirit. Confess it to God. Jesus paid for your sins already & it’s a gift so you can’t boast gt or eternal life. If you accept that gift you’re saved & you will feel it. We should strive to do the best we can to avoid sin but we’ll all fail at times & God understands that. The enemy will beat you down to say you’re worthless when you fail but Jesus is always there to pick you up & comfort you.
* The idea is that if you CHOOSE and deliberately WANTED to lose it you can... "FREE WILL" * If you are a true Christian, you won't lose it since you abide God's will everyday once you have received the Holy Spirit... But always wear the armor of God and never be complacent to commit sins intentionally... It is still a choice .. James 2:24 NIV [24] You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone. 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 NIV [1] This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. [2] Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.
Ephesians 1:13-14 In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, [[were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it,]] to the praise of His glory. Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, [[that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.]]
Thank you for this. The idea that I could lose my salvation is tormenting. I feel like I need to be good enough to be accepted by God and it doesn’t feel right.
I hear you....I feel that way, on & off. Then God spoke to me and said... "Where is thy, Faith, my child?: And He made me to understand that Satan seeks to separate us from God by taking our Faith away in that we have been forgiven of our sins. Satan manipulates us by HOLDING YOU IN BONDAGE TO YOUR SIN.....that takes away the Faith that we have forgiveness. It is a battle between good & evil. And satan knows his time is short, thus, he "is going to and from, seeking those whom he can devour." We MUST have total Faith in God through Jesus Christ. Have Faith in that Christ died for our sins. His Blood washed away all of our sins. Get into God's Word, and stay there. Put all your trust in Jesus, as he died for YOU. I've had to realize the same thing. God forgives us, we can even learn to forgive ourselves for our bad choices and sins. But sadly, society, family, etc., never let you forget. And it is those who use your past against you, that we are to AVOID and cut out of our lives, as Paul states, in the Bible, we are to do...for those who throw our past sins in our face are being used by satan. I've had to cut a LOT of people out of my life...family, friends....but my life is more peaceful...more filled with the Lord. It hurt me to do so. But in doing so, my life is more filled with the Lord. God tells us, that when we are forgiven and truly BORN again, that we are a new person in Christ and that we are NOT to be ashamed....for we have been forgiven!✝️💗❤
Don’t worry, God loves you… this isn’t coming from him but your flesh and the enemy. Trust in the grace of god, not in your works. He was good enough, he accomplished what you couldn’t on the cross
NO... a true born again Christian can never lose their salvation because they never earned it nor did God leave it up to you to keep yourself saved... People that say you can lose your salvation are saying," it's up to YOU to save yourself"... blasphemy! Just make sure you are really saved first before you get wild ideas about it... newly born again wouldn't think about going back to s sinful life they just left behind
This video was good and truthful until 4:36. Then, it became a subtle doctrine of adding works into salvation. Saying that if someone departs from faith was never truly a Christian in the first place is simply evil.
There is no such thing as OSAS. True Christians who faithfully live and do what Our Lord taught will be saved. Christians in name only who did not observe what Our Lord taught us to do will not be saved. Whoever claims to abide in Our Lord ought to live just as He lived (1 John 2:6). Whoever sins belongs to Devil (1 John 3:8). No one who remains in Christ sins (1 John 3:6).
Nope. It is a spiritual journey some loose their salvation. Some fall and our Lord picks them up. There are many pastor living a homosexual life style that think they are saved.we must keep our lamps filled with oil,and not loose our salvation, be Christian 24,/7
To say we can lose salvation is to say that Jesus didn’t live a perfect life and to say that the work on the cross was not sufficient enough for all sins to be forgiven and covered once and for all.
To say that you cannot lose your salvation is to reduce the Atonement of Christ to a commercial transaction and make God a liar if anyone is in Hell, for He died for all. No one has ever been "lost" and therefore no one needs "saving..." it's already "covered once for all." When did you wake up and realize that you have always been saved? That faith and belief are not conditions, and totally unnecessary to be saved.
@@jeffpaton9667 Wrong. “Unless one be born-again he cannot see the kingdom of God” John 3:3. “You are saved by grace through faith.” Not everyone has faith. You don’t live by the word of God nor are you saved. This is your excuse to sin, with your logic no one goes to hell? No. To say what you’re saying is that every single person has received Christ, and been accepted into heaven by his blood. Wrong. There are those under grace and those under the law. You do not have the Holy Spirit, so you are currently under the 10 commandments and you’re condemned already. Repent. Because what you know is wrong and the Bible says absolutely nothing about what you’re spreading. Your fake knowledge is of the devil. And if you say mine is wrong. Tell that to God because it’s what his word says. You yourself are reducing his atonement by saying everyone goes to heaven and can suddenly lose it. Makes no sense. It’s the opposite. Everyone goes to hell until you RECEIVE Christ, not…”everyone goes to heaven until we lose Christ.” You don’t know Christ. He said he will never cast his out. You are not his to be cast out you are of the devil already. “repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.” ~ Matthew 3:2 It doesn’t say “we’re all going to heaven” is it also saying it’s AT HAND which which means we can receive Christ and his kingdom if we REPENT and receive the gift of faith then the Lord shall pour his spirit upon you by his grace. Otherwise that must mean hell bound it is. God is sovereign. Completely sovereign in all aspects of salvation and in life. We take no part. Even the faith he gifts to us.

Salvation is a very simple IF/THEN statement. IF you place your faith in Christ, THEN you will receive Salvation, IF, after placing your faith in Christ, you take that faith and place it elsewhere, THEN you walk away from that Salvation. There is no predestination, God does not make the decision for you, you are not a puppet, you have free will and you do not give up that free will when you are saved. When someone walks away from Salvation, it does not mean that they were never saved to begin with. All of these word games people play to push false doctrine are not supported by Scripture. This heresy that is Once Saved, Always Saved is not Biblical at all. We must not be so arrogant as to think that the many warnings against apostasy do not apply to Christians.
What warnings? read the scriptures in context please and be not deceived, for God is not mocked for what He did at the cross he did it once and for all and not for one to try and help God save us by their own works, gees seriously, Mind Boggling

@@brohuggie2978 Salvation on the cross was made to redeem us from our sins (blot out our transgressions). Therefore we can walk (which requires action) to receive the eternal salvation given to us not by man or ourselves but by Christ Himself. (Hebrews 9:28). His first coming was for saving/redeeming us from our own sins and His second coming will be Eternal salvation, which is not made here and now. It is made on the day of judgement where we are either called to eternal life (salvation) or the second death. (Revelation 20:11-15)
“Calvinists, who deny that salvation can ever be lost, reason on the subject in a marvelous way. They tell us, that no virgin’s lamp can go out; no promising harvest be choked with thorns; no branch in Christ can ever be cut off from unfruitfulness; no pardon can ever be forfeited, and no name blotted out of God’s book! They insist that no salt can ever lose its savor; nobody can ever “receive the grace of God in vain”; “bury his talents”; “neglect such great salvation”; trifle away “a day of grace”; “look back” after putting his hand to the gospel plow. Nobody can “grieve the Spirit” till He is “quenched,” and strives no more, nor “deny the Lord that bought them”; nor “bring upon themselves swift destruction.” Nobody, or body of believers, can ever get so lukewarm that Jesus will spew them out of His mouth. They use reams of paper to argue that if one ever got lost he was never found. John 17:12; that if one falls, he never stood. Rom. 11:16-22 and Heb. 6:4-6; if one was ever “cast forth,” he was never in, and “if one ever withered,” he was never green. John 15:1-6; and that “if any man draws back,” it proves that he never had anything to draw back from. Heb. 10:38,39; that if one ever “falls away into spiritual darkness,” he was never enlightened. Heb 6:4-6; that if you “again get entangled in the pollutions of the world,” it shows that you never escaped. 2 Pet 2:20; that if you “put salvation away” you never had it to put away, and if you make shipwreck of faith, there was no ship of faith there!! In short they say: If you get it, you can’t lose it; and if you lose it you never had it. May God save us from accepting a doctrine, that must be defended by such fallacious reasoning!” ~ John Wesley
Could someone explain what the "falling away" in 2 Thess 2:3 refer to? I've had seen persons (even family) turn God away on purpose. They did confess their sins in the past and believed that Jesus died for their sins but now in these last days got majorly distracted, or with unfortunate life events, deliberately denounce their faith. I get it that salvation cannot be lost to a Born Again Christian if s/he continues in the faith, but I'm seeing people turning to worldly desires a lot. Jesus died on the cross for ALL whether they choose to believe it or not. Only those who believe are promised eternal life. Therefore the "falling away" or apostasy refers specifically to those who fell for unsound doctrine and chose to depart the Christian faith, they don't inherit the Kingdom of God. Their faith stance is decided by Jesus at the time of rapture.
@@robmarshall956 I did pray about it. And He revealed it to me in the Bible and the understanding. In the next few days He let certain persons within my Christian circle to show me pieces of scripture that directly answered them without me asking them at all.
Thank you so much! For YEARS I have known from John 6:37-45, John 10:27-30, Philippians 1:6, Romans 8:28-39, 1 John 2:19, Ephesians 1:14 and Ephesians 4:30 that a Christian cannot lose his salvation. Jesus says in John 6 that He came to do the Father's will, and that the Father's will is for Jesus to lose none of those who are given to Him by the Father. We know Jesus perfectly obeyed the Father's will and to say a Christian can lose his salvation is to accuse Jesus of disobedience, which would mean the Lord sinned. If he sinned then he would no longer qualify as the perfect substitute for us according to Psalm 49:7-8. This erroneous teaching that a Christian can lose his salvation is so blasphemous that it needs to be rebuked and buried deep underground. Also Jesus said in John 10:27-30 that we have eternal life and we will never perish, nor can anyone snatch us out of his hand. Eternal means forever. It is not conditioned upon anything except His omnipotent power.
This is not a Christian teaching. “Sin defiles” and “nothing defiled shall enter(heaven)” if you are in Christ you are saved but if you fall out of grace you will not be saved. That’s why the Bible is full of saying about sin and you have to “work our your salvation with fear and trembling”
Who gives you the will and the power to fulfill His will? Is that you? If you think that by your works you're saved, you're a fool. Sin defiles of course, but those of Christ will be punished here so they won't have part in the world condemnation.
As a former Christian this doctrine helped me break free from the clutches of faith. I knew there is nothing I can do to lose my salvation, which gave me the confidence to explore the possibility I was wrong without fearing hell. This led to me coming to the conclusion that I don't have sufficient evidence to believe any god exists, and if the Christian god exists (taking the Bible literally), he is not worthy of praise due to his wicked character.
@@dmythicayeah calvanism can do that. But how would you know God was wicked after abandoning any knowledge of right or wrong? Are you now attempting to create God in your own image? If you no longer fear God, will you come to fear the godless and lawless who know nothing of mercy and forgiveness?

The video does an excellent job of explaining God's side of the equation. However, every relationship is a two way street. The video fails to address the human side of the equation and there are many below citing scripture to give us some understanding of this. I offer Matt 13:18-23 in which there are 4 types of people who have God's word sown into their hearts and only one type has roots that take hold, grow and mature. To fully answer the question we must address both sides of the relationship.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:5-6
Paraphrasing Scripture to strengthen your case (1John 2:19 & John 10:28-29, for example) makes me skeptical that this isn't an objective presentation. You clearly began with your conclusion in mind without any consideration to the other side of the discussion.
What did the Lord Jesus mean by threatening to spue some Laodicean Christians out of His mouth? (Revelation 3:16). Who were the people Christ denied entry into His eternal home because according to Him, He didn't know them and that they operated in another spirit while doing miracles in His name? (Mathew 7:21-23). Who were the unfruitful soils in the parable of the sower? (Mathew 13:1-23). Why did the Lord Jesus Christ threaten to delete some people's names from the Book of Life if there is no possibility of their falling away from the faith? (Revelation 3:5). Who are those that would fall away from the faith as prophesied by Paul the apostle in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3? Unbelievers? The answers to these questions would put to rest the heretic doctrine of "once saved, always saved".
Psalms 103:10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Gal 2:16 "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Jesus Christ, and not by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." What part of "by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified" do believers not understand? The root of the problem comes from wrong biblical interpretation and I know some people are going to drop some scriptures in the comment for me. But before you do that ask yourself. Is God confused? meaning can he say "I am white" and also say "I am black" because that is what you are insinuating by posting a scripture that contradicts a scripture. Don't also come with the notion that "there should be balance in scripture" because that is also insinuating that true can be mixed with a lie. But no there is no grey area in God; he is light and there is no darkness in him and whatever it is that the scripture you are holding unto says you will need to take a deeper look at it with an open mind to fully understand that the mind of God is singular. Finally Heb 10:14 "For by one offering he hath perfected FOREVER them that are sanctified" You were perfected forever by one sacrifice not by you piety and innocent living. Although good christian living is also good but does not make you saved because then moralist outside Christ would be saved and what would then be the essence of the death of christ? Gal 2:21 "For if righteousness came by the law then Christ is dead in vain".
Salvation can definitely be lost; Ezekiel 18:24-26 24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. 25 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? 26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die. Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. Luke 11:24-26 24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. 25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. 26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Romans 11:18-22 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Hebrews 3:12-13 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 6:4-6 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Hebrews 10:26-27 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. Hebrews 10:38-39 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. 2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 2 Peter 2:20-21 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 2 Peter 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
I 100% disagree with this video. Just because you become a Christian does not mean you can just go around and sin at will and still enter the gates of Heaven. There will be no sinners in Heaven. If you publicly sin as a Christian you must publicly repent. If you sin in your heart you may pray to repent.
The point is that once a person has been born again, the desire to sin will decrease. The mind is changed towards sin and the behavior follows. The Holy Spirit will guide that person into increasing truth about Jesus, separating themselves from the world as life goes on. If a person remains comfortable sinning with no inward or outward changes, they probably aren't saved, no matter what they call themselves
@@SimplyFishingThis video isn’t saying that at all lol. You’re talking about willfully sinning. You are judged by the knowledge of truth. No where in this video did it “since you cannot lose salvation, you can sin”.. If you are truly Born Again, you wouldn’t willfully sin anyways. For ALL have fallen short of the glory of God. 1 John 3:6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.
I would strongly suggest that those who have trouble interpreting Paul in the bible by believing this false doctrine should listen to Peter in 2 Peter 3:16, and realize that he is talking about you. Paul is hard to understand, and individuals can be led to destruction with this false teaching, that no one believed in all of Christendom until modern Protestants conjured up the notion. I also strongly suggest before accepting this false doctrine to study all the arguments against it VERY CLOSELY by Catholic scholars who were former Protestant pastors and theologians, like a Scott Hahn. They understand both sides well. Brilliant scholars reject "eternal security" and "once saved, always saved." At least learn why before buying into this false doctrine. Your "eternal security" might be in grave danger. The wise will take heed. Salvation is not a one-time event. It is an ongoing process of sanctification, and it is worthwhile to listen to brilliant biblical scholars to find out why.
How can you be born again and then unborn? how can you lose what you didn't earn? Does a father reject or abandon a son because of disobedience? i'm pretty sure the logic and the bible all agree that it's impossible to lose salvation when you truly have it.
If this teaching were true, then there's no such thing as apostasy or the unforgivable sin. Can one "lose" salvation? No, but one can forfeit salvation. They do that, there is no coming back into faith.
The Bible says that the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth. If you call upon The Lord, He will hear you and save you, because the Bible also says that the Lord would be pleased if everyone were to be saved. He'll never turn anyone away, so pray and ask Him to forgive you and He will❤❤
This man is so true I underline the God would have to break his promise and God never breaks his promise God is not a man that he should lie nor is he the son of man that he should change his mind
Nothing can separate us only if we remain faithful. Hebrews 3:14 "For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ". 1 Corinthians 15:2 emphasizes the importance of maintaining faith in the gospel as preached by Paul. It asserts that salvation is contingent upon holding firmly to this message. The verse warns that belief without steadfastness can be in vain. In 1 Corinthians 15:2, Paul reminds the believers that they are saved by the gospel if they hold firmly to his teachings; otherwise, their faith may be in vain.
OF COURSE YOU CAN'T LOSE YOUR SALVATION... Because nobody has it yet! You Can't lose what you haven't got! Salvation is attained at the end. 🏁✔️ (Matthew 24:13) 😊
As y’all see he defined what a Christian is. So technically by definition a true Christian wouldn’t lose it, but they typical church goer who claims to be Christian (which is who people are typically are talking about) will in fact find out the hard way
I don't understand. Jesus never said we had to be "Christian" to be saved but that we must BELIEVE in him as our savior. If we cannot lose salvation then what is the incentive to live a good life other than to do it because we love the father. As a former atheist of 34yrs I raise this question because there has to be a reason to become "saved" then strive towards a good Christian life. If we say there is no way to lose salvation then ANYONE can say " I believe in Christ as my savior and because I am his already I am going to do what I please." This does not sit right with me as some would use this tactic. To me salvation can be seen and to just say "I believe in Christ and I have been saved" all the while living a life of constant sin and debauchery isn't salvation. Jesus frees us from temptation. He makes it so that we call on him to overcome that temptation, not give in to it. To me this is extremely dangerous to teach especially for new comers that once saved is always saved. Am I wrong? I can see people using belief and being saved as an excuse for doing what they want to because I came from that mindset of no GOD at all. I feel the spirit convict me everyday to stop doing things that are unpleasant to the LORD and I see others saying they've been saved but I see no conviction and hear none from their mouths. I would argue said people were never truly saved but only went through the motions.
Take heed BREATHREN, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, IF we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end. Hebrews 3:12-14
Prior verses quoted from Psalm 95, which warns Israel not to repeat their mistakes in the wilderness. There, Israel lost faith in God. They gave in to fear, and that led to disobedience and stubbornness. They did not "hold fast," and as a result, that generation was not allowed to enter into the Promised Land. God did not send Israel back into slavery in Egypt, but He disciplined the people for their lack of faith. Here, the application of the Psalm is made explicit. The Israelites' lack of trust caused them to fall away from God, and this resulted in discipline. The author of Hebrews is warning the Jewish Christians who read these words not to make the same mistake. It's especially important to see the full context of this verse, since it uses two particular Greek words, apistias and apostēnai. These are translated in the ESV as "unbelieving" and "fall away," respectively. Apostēnai is the word from which we get the term "apostasty," which means a rebellion or defiance of authority. It is most frequently used to describe those who completely leave the Christian faith. However, like most such terms, there are varied levels and meanings of "falling away." In this case, the meaning is that of sin and faithlessness, not open rejection of God. Once again, the context makes it clear that salvation is not at stake. The Promised Land is not a metaphor for heaven-Israel's rescue from Egypt is the symbol of salvation. God's wrath against the Jewish people in the wilderness was not to send them back to Egypt (symbolizing a return to an un-saved state). Rather, it was to deny them the blessings of the promised inheritance. Parts of chapter 4 will further support the idea that the author is speaking of sin in the life of a saved believer, not the potential loss of salvation.

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. @@inthemidstofthevalley6576 Thank you so much for using the Word of God to clearly state what He means in His Word. There are so many other Scriptures that unequivocally assert the possibility of walking away from one’s faith and becoming an apostate. In fact, the original word for apostasy means to defect. If someone from Russia were to defect to the United States and become a citizen, that means they basically renounced their citizenship of their country, and became a citizen of another country. There’s a difference between misplacing your car keys and deliberately putting them on the table and walking away from them, never to pick them up again.
Some excellent points here, and I want to add a couple of observations. Salvation is by faith, a gift of God. You can't earn it, and it certainly is not in your power to keep on working to keep it. Also, aside from misusing verses out of context (proof texting), there is NOTHING in the Bible that says you can lose your salvation.
So when God declared you are save you can commit sin and found not guilty. This is the problem. We are human living in this earthly world, when we Have salvation as we put faith in God and Jesus His son. we were born again. can we not commit sin already in our everyday life? One example is when we are remiss in our faith we could lost our salvation.Anyone who will say that once they are save, they will always be save is a fool as if they are not human prone to committing sinful ways. Let us be realistic because we are living in the reality of this world. What matters is we must have humility to accept that we sinned and beg forgiveness to God; and not to repeat again what we have committed.
"he was never born again by the power of god" sure but i would assume lots of christians believe they were born again, but were not. so how do you know if you were saved? its not like anyone walks on a cloud of happiness and rejects all sins. everyone has bright and dark times, feel distant from god and do or think evil things. im sure many have met people in church and thought another person is not really saved, but they dont apply similar thinking to themselves.
If it’s possible to exercise free will to accept the gift of salvation, then how is not possible to exercise the same free will to denounce god and even change religions at a later time?
I have 1 BIG problem with this video. At 5:00 "The Bible declares that a true Christian will not live a state of continual, unrepentant sin (1 John 3:6). " does it now??? lets look at the previous verse 1 John 3:5 "And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin." context matters a lot! Also earlier you just said God claims were Justified. To justify is to declare righteous, to be righteous is to be sinless. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." (2 Corinthians 5:21) This video says " true Christian will not live a state of continual, unrepentant sin" but all sin is equal in God's eyes and we're all living in sin no matter how you look at it. Romans 3:23-25 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
I think so ! I believe in Jesus but sad to say if I do not repent if I commit a sin and die I go to Hell❓❓ heard both sides heard both sides have scriptures so who is right who is wrong❓❓❓❓❓ I accepted Jesus I choose Jesus but I do sin and I feel I messed up so bad that my name no longer is in the book of life it is a scary thought to think you can lose out on Heaven !! 😥😥😥😥
Im the one who got blessed and than turned against God and call him a monster who throws people on hell. Now I dont have Holy Spirit inside me and my soul is still against God but Im fightinf whith my mind. Most probably Im lost forever. Pray for me guys. 😭
Isaiah 42:3, a bruised reed he will not break off, and a smoldering wick he will not extinguish. It seems you care brother or sister, so i promise you with all my heart that there is hope for you, if the Holy Spirit were not with you you wouldn't be upset, worried about if you were saved, want to be saved, or be asking for prayer. I will pray for you, but I promise you, i've been where you are, and I'm not the most obedient person, but God in His faithfulness has brought me to a much better place over time. Keep fighting your mind, thats repentance, keep striving in the direction of God; there is no resolve to get better, no conviction or desire for holiness, in the one who is lost and without hope. I'm confident that you'll be okay. I promise you're not too far gone, even if you're in a really dark place. Many Christians, not just me, have been where you are. God will carry you through this storm. Philippians 4:6, And i am confident that He who began a good work in you will bring it through to completion by the day of Jesus Christ. Also, ask God to help you come back to Him yourself too. Anybody who approaches God does not do it on their own, they do it because its Him drawing them, so if you're even able to pray that's a sign of God's work in your life, and if you ask Him in that prayer to grow and restore you, He 100% will. Lord bless you and keep you Beloved, I love you so much. So does God, so much more. Shalom ❤
If you read Hebrews 6:4-6 in the proper context, it is referring to the Jews that went from living by the law to living by faith, then returning back to living by the law. This has nothing to do with forgiveness or salvation. We have to read the proper context as to what and who the author of Hebrews is saying here. He was writing to the Jews as a warning not to fall back into living by the law. You can't just pick out a verse or two from the Word and turn it into a doctrine. Picking out one or two verses from the Word is how the snake handling churches got their doctrine. Mark 16:17-18 was taken out of context.
Jewish or not, God does not have a different plan of salvation. If a Christian who is a converted Jew can toss away their salvation, so can any Christian that was a Heathen/gentile can do the same.
This truth that my salvation is sealed brings so much joy and causes me to want to worship and serve God. I have a friend that told me if he believed he couldn’t lose his salvation he would want to go sin. So I told him well for you keep on believing that you can lose your salvation 😂
Who does 2 Thess 2:3 "falling away" refer to? 🤔 I have family members who were brought up Christians, over decades have worshipped God, brought people to God, but now they reject God totally reject. Did they lose their salvation, or were they never truly saved? This is bugging me greatly for when I mention stuff in the Bible I get cursed at and rebuked.
we have our own free will, to choose Him or ourselves as masters of our own lives. We cannot serve two masters at the same time, therefore, we either of God or against Him, We are either Him or Away from Him. We have the choice to accept or denounce, If we deny Him, He also will deny us. That is why as Christians have to endure until the end, unceasingly choosing to abide in His will because He is God, and because He first loved us, He died for us, He sought us then it is only natural that we as His creation abide in that love.
Can a believer become an unbeliever? Like the disciples in John 6:66 who decided not to walk with Jesus anymore or those in 1 Timothy 4:1 who departed from the faith giving heed to doctrine of demons or those who have been severed from Christ and fallen from grace....
Take a look at the parable that Jesus taught about the ten virgins who awaited the arrival of the bridegroom in Mathew chapter 25. ALL of the ten virgins were “predestined” to be in the wedding. Five had extra oil for their lamps and the other five did not, but those five who ran out of oil were shut out of the wedding - in spite of their “predestination” to be a part of the wedding. The same is true with all believers. If we ABIDE in Jesus we will have oil in our lamps. If we do not abide in Him we could find ourselves shut out of the wedding. This was taught by Jesus in Mathew 15:6 - If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is whithered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. In this video I heard a lot of clever arguments over how we as believers cannot lose our salvation. The issue is NOT what any church teaches about it or what any institution may teach about it. The issue is over what the WORD teaches about it, and I have just presented you with two sections from the Word that Jesus Himself taught about it. Paul taught about it in Romans 11:19-22 -- You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. The writer of Hebrews probably said it best in Hebrews 3: 12 -14 -- Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ IF we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end. Notice that the writer of Hebrews addresses SAVED believers. That is why he called them brethren. He is not speaking to unbelievers or those who were “never truly saved to begin with.” He is warning SAVED believers that despite being saved that it is still possible for them to be pulled away from God into sin so deeply that they could reach the point where they would no longer WANT God in their lives anymore. Yes, they were sealed with the Holy Spirit, but the writer of Hebrews is clearly and unmistakenly teaching here that a believer can unseal himself from the Holy Spirit. And if he were to die in that state that his salvation could be in grave danger. So with all of the well thought out arguments presented in this video as to how the believer cannot lose his salvation, how do they stack up against this teaching from Hebrews? The Word does not contradict itself anywhere. As a young person, I was brought up in a denomination that strongly professed and believed the old once saved, always saved doctrine. Over the years that I belonged to that denomination I saw more people there than I can remember who absolutely SHIPWRECKED their lives, their families and their walk with God all because they had bought into this dangerous false doctrine and had gotten the notion that they could live in any old way they pleased and still get into Heaven. Yes, they may have tarnished their reputation, they may have ended up divorced, but because at one point in their lives they had sincerely believed in the finished work of Jesus on their behalf and had said a sinner’s prayer asking Jesus to come into their life they thought that they could live like the devil himself and still be saved in the end. And these were people that I truly cared about and still pray for to this day. My own parents fell into this trap and both of them ended up in several affairs and eventually divorced. Thank God that both of them eventually renounced “once saved, always saved” and they strive now to abide in Jesus and live Godly lives. In the end, where our ultimate salvation is concerned, God doesn’t just look at what we do in one small slice of our lives. He looks at our WHOLE life.
something has happend to me. It’s so much to explain / but I don’t know now if I am hopeless. I don’t even know WHAT happened to but can explain the events that took place.
You have the free will choice to turn your back on God. Look at the parable of the ten virgins or the sower and the seed. God will never leave nor forsake anyone, but anyone can turn away from God!
5:05 so if your interpretation of 1 John 3:6 is correct, then King Solomon was not born again and is unregenerate and lost his salvation, as he did not repent of the sins of idolatry and having 600 wives and 400 concubines? 🤔 I thought the blood of Jesus cleaneth us from ALL sin/ trespasses. ???
Salvation is by grace through faith. Once a person accepts Jesus as one's personal saviour, one receives eternal life. One is sealed with the Holy Spirit. Jesus has already paid the price with His precious blood and we are His purchased possession. Once we become His possession, the devil cannot snatch us from His hands for we are secure in His hands forever.
@@survivingthematrix5080, yes faith is a choice and one can walk away from that at any point of time. But if a person has received salvation, it is eternal. One cannot lose it. John 3:16 says, whosoever believeth in Him shall never perish. It is eternal.
@@survivingthematrix5080, true, that's individual's choice. But if you see my first reply, its about salvation. The point I'm trying go make is, even if you stop believing after receiving salvation, you will not lose it. When you receive salvation, you are sealed by and with the Holy Spirit. Once you are sealed, you belong to Christ eternally even if you stop believing.
@@survivingthematrix5080, I appreciate your response. Take your time. No hurry. I have read the book of Hebrews. You must be referring to Chapter 10, I guess. However, please get back to me when you have time. Will settle this matter.
@@survivingthematrix5080, even if you come up with the most offensive argument, I won't be offended. It's again your choice. Let me say this once again. Salvation received can never be lost in any circumstances whatsoever.. You are in the tight grip of the Holy Spirit and nobody, not even the devil can snatch you away from His hands. So I would urge you to get back to me with your arguments when time permits. Nevertheless, glad to know you are a child of God.
I do not like it when people say things like this in this video. Of course God would not take your salvation away from you, that’s why he gave it to you in the first place. And no one can take it away from you, but your self. If you slide back into the world of saying you are in danger of losing your salvation and everything that goes with it and I deplore ministries like this one who come out and say otherwise
This is exactly why the reserection rapture of the church has to take place before daniels 70th week begins. We are no longer under condemnation romans 8 1 john 3 18. The 21 judgments are the condemnation
so why is it that many of those who believe in once saved forever saved including you run away from the scripture 1st john 5:16-17. one point is clear, there is a sin that can lead to death, which negates all points that claim that the seal of salvation is permanent. hence whether or not i even know what the sin that leads to death is about, as long as it can lead to separation from God. another point is that the apostles issue a lot of warnings about falling away. why send a signal of warning if it cant damage the seal of salvation. I for one don't see the reason the devil keeps tempting Christians if the battle for their souls have been lost once they gave their lives to christ. Or are you claiming that he's after them not enjoying their financial or healthy stay on the earth.
I think the true question at hand is that could a person who was a true Christian, choose with their free will to turn from the faith? (Don’t run from the true question, we all know this is about once saved always saved)
@@curiousgeorge555 Institutes 3.2.11 (Of course, Calvin does not use the word "deceives" but he admits that God intentionally leads people on to believe that they are saved when He has no intention of saving them, which is "deceiving" the reprobates.)
The salvation in that verse is not about being saved unto eternal life through faith in Christ Jesus, it’s a _physical_ salvation from persecution and tribulation. Because in context we have, ““Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.” - Mt. 24:9
@@felixmarinjr.66 But the way I see that verse is like this, those who stay faithful to the Lord, those who don't go astray and deny Jesus, will be partakers of His kingdom and shall be saved. I relate it to Hebrews 10:26-31.
@@Science_explained I agree with you. Those who believe in the ‘once saved always saved’ doctrine will explain away every Bible verse that contradicts their doctrine. It puzzles me how they can still not see it. To believe in is not a onetime decision but a life long commitment.
@@felixmarinjr.66 that verse is out of context buddy however I agree with your position. A true Christian will always believe to the end. Hebrew 6:4 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, I think you are very wrong on this one. It's perfectly clear "partakers of the Holy Ghost". No way to spin that one to mean any other thing. I agree that no one can snatch anyone from the Father's hand but you can certainly remove yourself from His hand. We all have free choice and if you have been saved you can choose to begin to reject the Holy Spirit influence and exercise WILLFUL disobedience. Hebrews 10:26 and Hebrews 10:29 and Hebrews 10:35 are pretty clear on this subject.
@@brohuggie2978 I actually have read it in context and have studied the bs once saved always saved. You DO NOT loose your free will to choose....EVER! You can stop choosing Jesus and maybe you don't understand English very well but PARTAKERS OF THE HOLY GHOST is pretty clear to those of us who do understand English words. Do you know what PARTAKERS means....the definition?? If you don't a simple Google search of the definition. There are plenty of sexually immoral people, gay and straight, drunks, ect who absolutely believe in Jesus, said their little sinners prayer and got baptized but the bible is very clear on that, Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. The bible is also clear in Mathew 7:22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ But by all means, you keep believing the bs once saved always saved and keep on willfully sinning and see where you end up. Continual willful sinning IS rejection of God because anyone who knows the bible at all knows that willful disobedience to God is to be an enemy of God, James 4:4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? I have a question. Someone I know who goes to church and is active in ministry told me that after he was saved he fell into Satanism. He still worships him secretly. Was he never saved in the first place? He used to love JESUS and that is why he became involved in his church. I thought his heart was in the right place and that he was truly saved. He has not changed outwardly like doing immoral stuff or blasphemy except in private at home. He even speaks in tongues at church. He goes to a Pentecostal church or something like that. Is there hope that he might be saved and just needs to repent?
if he's truly worshipping the devil he almost definitely never truly came to salvation. There's some offshoot of a chance that he is heavily backslidden, but i don't find that likely if he's worshipping the devil. either way he still has hope. Someone can "love" Jesus without knowing who he truly is, someone can say and believe in their minds that they love Jesus when its them loving some other idea, or some other aspect of religion, someone can also deceive themselves into thinking they love jesus when they really dont deep down in their hearts. But take heart, that love isn't something we fully come to on our own, its given to us when we become saved. There's little hope that he IS saved, but plenty of hope for him to BE saved. Hope I've helped. salvation is a profoundly transformative experience, some sin lingers but you can't really come to a place where you're truly worshipping God and devoted to Him and then Worshipping the devil, it seems like they lack some very fundamental commitments and understandings that are imparted to us at salvation.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
This verse makes me cry like a baby every time; God’s grace is indescribable
Then what about the church of Laodicea? They’re one of the churches we read of in Revelation, a body of believers, otherwise Christ would not have addressed them. He said He will spew them out of His mouth because of their apathy.
@@Gloriagal78 The church at Laodicea was neither cold, openly rejecting Christ, nor hot, filled with spiritual zeal. Instead, its members were lukewarm, hypocrites professing to know Christ, but not truly belonging to Him (cf. Matt. 7:21).

In my years of studying this and pondering this, I've come to this conclusion. Once a person has truly committed their life to Christ, and submitted their entire being to Him, that person is eternally saved. The first question should be “are you a Real Christian”?
First question is. Is chritianity the religion of god/s .
Salvation can absolutely be lost --- and stay away from Ligonier Ministries, which is demonic
(as Dr. White claimed)
The word "BLESSED" is an adjective that gives/indicates conditions on how to be BLESSED... How?... Christians who persevere and endure to the end are called BLESSED... those Peacemakers are called BLESSED... those who hunger and thirst and poor in spirits are BLESSED... those who have not seen but believe are BLESSED...etc... (The Beatitudes)
In Conclusion, Protestants are entitled to their own Opinions and Beliefs... but they were definitely wrong in their interpretation of the Biblically TRUTH without compromise... Christians can lose their Salvation, but those who persevere and endure till the END will be SAVED."... Praise be to God in Christ... Amen.

Salvation is a very simple IF/THEN statement. IF you place your faith in Christ, THEN you will receive Salvation, IF, after placing your faith in Christ, you take that faith and place it elsewhere, THEN you walk away from that Salvation. Stunning quote. Thanks for sharing it.

Paraphrasing Scripture to strengthen your case (1John 2:19 & John 10:28-29, for example) makes me skeptical that this isn't an objective presentation. You clearly began with your conclusion in mind without any consideration to the other side of the discussion.
But then what about those who renounce their faith in Jesus and walk away?
Please refer to Hebrews 6:4-6.
Psalms 103:10
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
you missed the point that someone can walk away from thier salvation by denying christ, and dying in sin.
Depends what a believer means by “lose”. Saving faith is not the same as merely believing Jesus lived.
Gal 2:16 "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Jesus Christ, and not by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
What part of "by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified" do believers not understand?
Finally Heb 10:14 "For by one offering he hath perfected FOREVER them that are sanctified"
You were perfected forever by one sacrifice not by you piety and innocent living. Although good christian living is also good but does not make you saved because then moralist outside Christ would be saved and what would then be the essence of the death of christ?
Gal 2:21 "For if righteousness came by the law then Christ is dead in vain".
Praise God for the explanation
Salvation can definitely be lost;
Ezekiel 18:24-26
24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
25 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
Luke 8:13
They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Luke 11:24-26
24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
Romans 11:18-22
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

Hebrews 3:12-13

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Hebrews 10:26-27
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Hebrews 10:38-39
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
2 Peter 1:10
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
2 Peter 2:20-21
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2 Peter 3:17
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
Revelation 22:19
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
I 100% disagree with this video. Just because you become a Christian does not mean you can just go around and sin at will and still enter the gates of Heaven. There will be no sinners in Heaven. If you publicly sin as a Christian you must publicly repent. If you sin in your heart you may pray to repent.
i mean you have to repent to be born again in the first place
@@eleat If you continue to sin you have to continue to repent. You don't get a free pass the rest of your life.
1 John 3:6
No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.
Thabk you for this very reassuring
Pray for me, for God to grant me repentance and grant me grace, I want to be a child of God, I no longer want to be a slave to sin
The Bible says that the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth. If you call upon The Lord, He will hear you and save you, because the Bible also says that the Lord would be pleased if everyone were to be saved. He'll never turn anyone away, so pray and ask Him to forgive you and He will❤❤
I agree that we can’t lose our Salvation!! Jesus saves us and Jesus keeps us
This man is so true I underline the God would have to break his promise and God never breaks his promise God is not a man that he should lie nor is he the son of man that he should change his mind
Nothing can separate us only if we remain faithful.
Hebrews 3:14
"For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ".
Hypocrisy everywhere not all who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of God
Take heed BREATHREN, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, IF we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end. Hebrews 3:12-14
John the Baptist went from believing to unbelief and yet Jesus said he will be in the kingdom with all the prophets.

The problem to Christianity is not all are Holy Bible based Rather doctrine's of Man being followed
I have 1 BIG problem with this video. At 5:00 "The Bible declares that a true Christian will not live a state of continual, unrepentant sin (1 John 3:6). " does it now???
lets look at the previous verse 1 John 3:5 "And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin." context matters a lot!
Also earlier you just said God claims were Justified. To justify is to declare righteous, to be righteous is to be sinless.
"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." (2 Corinthians 5:21)
This video says " true Christian will not live a state of continual, unrepentant sin" but all sin is equal in God's eyes and we're all living in sin no matter how you look at it.
Romans 3:23-25
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Shalom ❤
FATHER GOD I pray in LORD JESUS NAME that your SPIRIT would fresh touch this soul with you love 😢AMEN
how are you now?
💯🔥🔥great video!
It’s either they were not truly saved or…..
God will bring them back to him eventually don’t worry
we have our own free will, to choose Him or ourselves as masters of our own lives.
I'm a nurse. Almost EVERYONE starts to think about God nearing death. Do not worry about it. They will start to seek God again.
This was taught by Jesus in Mathew 15:6 -
If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is whithered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
Paul taught about it in Romans 11:19-22 --
You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Well said.
The writer of Hebrews probably said it best in Hebrews 3: 12 -14 --
Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

A true Born again Christian will believe till end. Things will be tough his/her faith maybe up and down but none the less will believe till end comes

Romans 8:30 stares all that are justified will be glorified. You can't be justified one day and lost the next.
So this means that not all who claim to have Jesus as their Lord and savior are really christians if they continue to sin ?
No. Why would a truly born again believer ever want to do such a thing?
Kind of a moot point when you don't know whether you're the one who is saved or not saved, whether you're elect or not elect.
Untrue. You can know.
"The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God".
@Robert McNamara, did you delete you reply? If so, why?
@@curiousgeorge555 and Calvin said that God deceives the lost to think that they are saved if He needs that person to use as a tool for His ends.
@@jeffpaton9667 Source?
@@curiousgeorge555 Institutes 3.2.11 (Of course, Calvin does not use the word "deceives" but he admits that God intentionally leads people on to believe that they are saved when He has no intention of saving them, which is "deceiving" the reprobates.)
Excellent , so concise !! Thank you !
A fine display of reading what you want into Scripture by manmade philosophy instead of Scripture and Theology.
But he that endureth to the end the same shall be saved Mt 24:13
The salvation in that verse is not about being saved unto eternal life through faith in Christ Jesus, it’s a _physical_ salvation from persecution and tribulation. Because in context we have, ““Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.” - Mt. 24:9
@@NickSandt so you are saying that Jesus said if you manage not to be killed then you are not killed?
@@felixmarinjr.66 But the way I see that verse is like this, those who stay faithful to the Lord, those who don't go astray and deny Jesus, will be partakers of His kingdom and shall be saved. I relate it to Hebrews 10:26-31.
@@Science_explained I agree with you. Those who believe in the ‘once saved always saved’ doctrine will explain away every Bible verse that contradicts their doctrine. I have questioned it and some have even become hostile towards me calling me names. I spent a few years searching and reading scripture and the OSAS is so clearly wrong. It puzzles me how they can still not see it. To believe in is not a onetime decision but a life long commitment.
@@felixmarinjr.66 that verse is out of context buddy however I agree with your position. A true Christian will always believe to the end. If he disbelieves, then he has chosen to leave God due to his freewill. I don’t agree with OSAS if the principle isn’t stating that the Christian remains a Christian until the end (death/Christ return). The salt could lose it’s saltiness, a branch could be cut from the vine, and virgins without oil will miss the bridegroom
Well done and reassuring.
Conditional security makes God out to be weak. We know this is false.
true
Yes you can. Read the Parable of the Oil Lamps. GOD gives us Choices. Once Saved Always Saved is a Lie. This new modern day religion is full of wolves in sheep clothing.
So according to what you believe the bible says, Sinning or not sinning determines if a person really is a Christian or not. I thought that it was when we come to faith , that determines if we really are a Christian or not".
fruit of the spirit shows if you are saved
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him SHOULD not perish but have everlasting life."
What if you did not repent or repent all sins cuz you are so worried about Hell if one or more sins are not repent❓confused cuz seems hell us based on unrepentence if you are low in soirit but truely loves Jesus❓
Yes it's true, salvation can be lost. I hope that beings clarity to this discussion 🙏 😊
Then you don't believe the record God gave us about his Son. When you believe in the Son of God, you know you have eternal life. You don't lose eternal life. I hope that brings clarity to your unbelief.
1 John 5
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
@@GiftofGrace88 There are a long list of theologians and RUclips videos explaining once saved always saved isn't true. I'd be happy to send you some if you don't mind your interpretations of the bible being challenged.
You can only lose it if you reject it - apostasy
@@stagg777 No, Apostasy isn't just people who reject the gospel.
@@dman7668okay are you suggesting that practising sin is a way too?
These videos keep popping up with people obsessing over losing their salvation instead of that they should be obsessing over Jesus how he keeps us saved because when it comes down to it the only reason we go to heaven is because of what Jesus did on the cross that's it
Hebrew 6:4 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
I think you are very wrong on this one.
There are plenty of sexually immoral people, gay and straight, drunks, ect who absolutely believe in Jesus, said their little sinners prayer and got baptized but the bible is very clear on that, Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
The bible is also clear in Mathew 7:22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’
But by all means, you keep believing the bs once saved always saved and keep on willfully sinning and see where you end up. Continual willful sinning IS rejection of God because anyone who knows the bible at all knows that willful disobedience to God is to be an enemy of God, James 4:4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God
@@brohuggie2978 and I'm suppose to be hurt or offended by you no longer communicating with me 😂😂😂😂😂. This isn't an airport so there is no need to announce your departure. I posted what was written...you didn't 🤷 Make sure you don't make any further comments because then you would be a liar since you clearly states "I stop commenting with them". 😁😉
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, IF thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be CUT OFF. Romans 11:22

I encourage you all to personally seek God on this !!
I diligently sought Him myself on this question, & He showed me the truth that one CAN lose their salvation!! I encourage y’all to read Romans 11, John 15, Hebrews 10, 2 Peter 1 & 2 Peter 2, and many other places in scripture that back up that one CAN lose your salvation. God forbid!!!!
