Levy is the problem from the footballing side and Jamie Carragher has already made the point that Spurs need a football man at the helm not a business man. Tottenham H does not "belong" to the fans, it belongs to Levy and Enic. As a long standing Spurs fan for over 60 years I've never seen sustained success at the club. They very lucky to win the League Cup. With proper backing they would have won the PL and the CL. Enic failed the supporters for a few extra bucks. I don't really care if Enic Hotspur lose or not now. I've seen Spurs relegated before. Maybe Enic deserve the financial hit of a prolonged spell in the Championship.

I'm grateful that he has built the club into one of the largest financial entities in world football, and via proper commercial means we can be proud of too, rather than via oligarchy. And make no mistake you NEED the money to be in place before you can dream.

When I saw "Tottenham's Curse" in the video headline I thought this was going to be about the story in the 90s when Alan Sugar, then owner, refused to pay a gypsy who Sugar had tasked with painting a fence on his property, claiming the work had not been done to Sugar's standards. The gypsy, unhappy with not being paid, promptly informed Sugar that if payment wasn't made immediately he would put a curse upon Tottenham and that they would never win a trophy again. Payment was never made. Although they have since won 2 league cups, some Spurs supporters point to this as the reason for their struggles. Pehaps a whip round to pay the man the fiver he is owed may bring a turn in fortunes?

Don't forget that Daniel Levy is a Spurs supporter himself. What he has done for this club financially and structurally is pretty unprecedented. And they've done it all while being competitive and financially one of the most responsible in Europe.
Sure he sacked Nuno, Jose and Conte...but he also went out and hired them....Levy has done a LOT for Spurs and to blame him for not throwing money out the window like so many other clubs is a bit silly imo.
Poch worked so well because his philosophy blended with Daniels. Ange's does as well to be fair, the problem is that Ange's tactics are straight out of a 12 yr old's fifa career mode and make no sense in the real world
Spurs would benefit most from a Poch style manager instead of a "big name"/"i win things" mercenary.

At the end of the day, the club is not owned by the fans. It's owned by a division of ENIC. Tottenham Hotspur does not even own Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it's owned by a separate division of ENIC. There is no evidence supporting the claim that we are struggling because Levy is in charge of football operations, at least not since he appointed Ange. We have to grit our teeth until Ange has a good enough squad to play the way he wants them to play, and he either wins or falls on his sword. With the 'Ange' philosophy apparently being coached at all levels of the club, the worst thing Levy could do is sack Ange because the fans are unhappy. Chaos would surely follow.

ENIC and Levy are only interested in revenue and profit as opposed to trophies and success, yet if you visit our website, there’s some blurb about our heritage under the headline ‘The game is about glory’. We were told we needed to build a bigger stadium to compete with the best, yet we continuously buy players from the likes of Everton, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest and Brighton. These aren’t players coveted by other big teams, we compete with the likes of West Ham! Despite all of this, every other week we have 58,000 fans fill up the home sections of our stadium and spend all this money in the bars in the stadium and put up with this crap. As long as fans keep on accepting this, he sees no reason to change.

This video is very disingenuous in parts. The majority of Spurs fans recognise that Levy is the issue and there is movement to get him out. It is difficult to materialise that at games due to lifelong Spurs fans being priced out of tickets with most games costing over £100 and season tickets costing more than £2k. There has also been large increases in the number of tourists attending games - no criticism of them, but they're fans looking for a good experience rather than spending the day chanting against Levy.

There are two opinions. 1. It's about the immediate future. As I've seen for a year and a half, I don't see any merit in the current situation. , Of course, moving forward, a high line 2CB is out of the question. The SB went to a high position, and the intention was probably to not let the opposing WG participate in the counter attack, but measures should be taken. As for the defenders, it is not good not to acquire top-level players even for the reserves. Looking at the players, there are few hamstring injuries. The reason is that the burden on the defenders is too great. There are some teams that spend time on variable 3-backs, but those teams have top-level defenders. In other words, the basics are 4 or 5-backs. We definitely need top-level players. But realistically, are there any players who will come to a mid-level club? I can't finish if I say more, so I'll just say this at the end. The sure-fire goal scene is a counter goal! I have to admit that Tottenham has a small player base among the Big 6. The goalkeeper is concerned about the footwork of Four Star, but I think reinforcement is essential. The second goalkeeper is in a very difficult position. Adjustments must be made in. Therefore, it is difficult to find a goalkeeper who will accept it. We'd like to have at least one full-back if Gray returns to midfield. CB needs reinforcement. I don't want to put any more burden on the young Gray, and we also need to consider that Davis' contract will expire next summer. The midfield needs another playmaker type who can hold the ball like Madison. CF is also needed. If Richarlison continues like this, we need one more. Looking at Solanke recently, you can see that he is getting tired. We also need a left-footed winger. I really appreciate Johnson's scoring ability, but we definitely need a left-footed player who can dribble. Son clearly does not fit the current tactics. Considering that there is no contract extension, I think we need reinforcement, but the difficult part is that we have too many players. If we do get it, it will be next summer. Two last things. I'm really sorry for the long post. And I'm Japanese, so Kubo is one of the people I really want to acquire. Son's influence on Asia for Spurs is great. That's why I recommend Kubo as the next generation star

These injuries have prolonged his stay, the reality is he lost to Palace, Brighton and Ipswich in a poor manner with his best 11.
Levy is a joker, but Ange got the gig because nobody of standing wanted it.

Tottenham Hotspur are a really interesting football club. Realistically at this moment in time they have probably the best foundations of any club in Europe that will be needed in order to build a long-term successful winning football club.
Tottenham Hotspur right now quite literally just need an owner who understands that success on the field will result in continued success off the field, along with all forms of revenue streams continuing to plough cash in.
If they just spent the money on players who they can absolutely afford, players that they need, they could go and win silverware. And when a team is winning silverware, and that team just happens to have an incredible stadium and training facility, along with a rather large fan base, and they also host major concerts and sporting events, people start to take notice.
Earlier I said that Tottenham are an interesting team. I would probably like to revise that and say they are a really frustrating team, because for the past 20 odd years or so, they've seemingly been within a fingertips reach of success, however, while Daniel is still in charge, the football is merely an annoying subject that keeps trying to pick away at the real estate deals the club wants to make.

Good account of the history, but you neglect to consider what has changed in the last 2 seasons.
You say, "someone else needs to take charge of the footballing operations ..."
Scott Munn has been brought into the club to do just that.
Johan Lange has been brought in to run a restructured, more data focused scouting and recruitment team.
If you listen to them, in the few interviews they have done, they talk about the club having a football identity and the importance of all areas working together towards those identity goals, be it coaches, recruitment and scouting, and the Academy.
This suggests that Levy might have finally made that decision to step back from the football department and focus on the business side. Their is little in this time to suggest he has been interfering.

most rival fans like to tell us that we can't make excuses like the owner being that but they dont invest and when they do they do it wrong. This summer we needed some slightly more experienced players or players in their prime, but instead we overpaid for teenagers instead of spending that money on experienced players. Also if we had the money to make signings during the stadium rebuild why didn't we? thats the owners fault. I was still sad when poch was sacked because it wasn't his fault for the downfall. When we called out the owners after mou got sacked, they got fabio paratici for transfers, and he got us romero, kulusevski, sarr, udogie, bentancur, who are all good for us but then he got the ban from his dodgy transfers at Juventus. Ever since his ban we haven't made good transfers, we hired johan lange from villa and scott munn for ceo, we don't know how much influence they had on transfers, and paratici is doing consultancy without much influence after the ban. We need to get Levy out of the club because otherwise he will continue to control the club with his finger and make terrible decisios for the club.

Perhaps a bit presumptuous of me, BUT.
AFL team Collingwood arguably biggest and most famous Club in Australia. Wasn’t winning the Final, finances in trouble etc.
at the time a young fan making his way through sports journalism developed himself into an entrepreneur in football variety shows and eventually became President of Collingwood because of his high profile and love for the team.
Suffice to say eventually they won Premiership hoping for a dynasty but coaching planning failed.
He stood down and another supporter took over Presidency. Despite having cancer therapy they won another Premiership and now he’s standing down to concentrate on his life threatening health.
I suppose what I’m saying you can be a hard not businessman and prominent Lawyer but deep down you love your club and suppress personal glory for Team success in.
The fans whether for or against Ange want results but when they maintain a Board that is not a fan of its’s own team dumping Managers will not change things.
Ange was brought in to rebuild. If you the fans and the Board provide the time and money he’s going to surprise you I’ve no doubt.
As an Aussie I’m biased and never watched Soccer but I watched Celtic and now Spurs because of him.

Spurs DNA is Arsenal can’t win. That club has nothing else. They revealed it in May when they supported another team when they had something on the line but could deny us the title and in the process deny themselves. Then they have the gumption to complain about a ‘lack of investment’ in the summer. I predicted that would happen before that game. They deserve nothing but the worst - club and fans.

Good vid- but a gap at the end. Levy has been clear on the aspect of not knowing football- hence the DoF role which first arrived with Frank Arnessen in 2004. The problem is that the DoF philosophy needs to be aligned with the manager and the Owners who ultimately control the purse strings
So I’ll back Ange. And to back Ange we need the right players and squad depth. So the Manager, DoF and scouts find those players- but that’s all based on the ££ available.
So I’m short- it stops with ENIC, Joe Lewis and his yacht.
Tottenham Hotspur Ltd is up there as the most profitable as businesses. But this will never translate to the club while F1 and Beyonce line Levy and Joe’s pockets
They could placate me with a Bill Nick statue though….

Spurs are playing in the PL, how many different teams have won the PL in the last 10 years ? Spurs came close twice should have won it once, After this its been between City and Liverpool, Spurs have came close to winning titles under Poch he just wasn't good enough to win the big matches. Mangers win titles not chairman. How many times have you seen City chairman holding the Title or in the team pictures after ? The same Spurs fan who says its Levy only do so when Spurs are struggling when Spurs are winning they praise the manager and the players when Spurs struggle its blame Levy. Its school yard talk.
