No Mark. The truth is you paid a fortune for shit players & gave them ridiculous wages. The club is also £800 million in debt. Your stadium roof looks like Swiss cheese, the stadium security think they work for the Krays, the stadium plumbing has bi-polar disorder & now it’s been invaded by an army of field mice. The best thing that could happen is you get relegated, get rid of these owners & incompetent players + get a new owner in who’ll pay off the debts & fix the stadium. Then you can rebuild. But trust me, to do it properly will take about 5 years.

Five years??? To fix what you say will be around £1,5 Billion at a minimum and to do that in 5 years takes more than a miracle. You would also have to cheat in as many ways as you possibly could get away with. And to get new owners is not as easy as you think. The current owners want a profit for a sale. Meaning a new owner have to overpay. Then you believe they come in with a wand, cast some spells and 1B appears to pay off players that need to go and for new players to come in. This isn't FM with an editor, this is IRL och the fact of the matter is ManU are deep in the shite. It's turned into ManUre.

I love your honesty and truthfulness mark about the situation at Manchester utd . So spot on about the owners the players and the supporters. I’m a evertonian nothing to shout about since 1995 but win lose or draw I stick by my club . Because that’s my club. How can you ever start forgetting the once great times whether Man Utd or my team Everton . I love your passion and how you see it how you feel it and how you say it . Good luck with your team in the future as you and myself are proper fans.

Hit the nail on the head by identifying the lack of football IQ running through the club. For years your club relied so much on Sir Alex for its culture and football IQ, that in an era when other clubs were building more modern staff structures that were less reliant on a single genius head coach, Man Utd lagged behind out of respect for Sir Alex. When he left, the club found itself ill equipped for the modern game and the decline was inevitable, only slowed or temporarily disguised by continually spending money on new signings and managers.

Spot on. Haven't got the players to play this poxy system. Wing backs are better defensively and only playing 2 centre mids who cannot run is insane.

Can't stand this agenda, that fans owe the club anything. It's the other way around - the club is nothing without the fans, and the club owe the fans everything. If someone wants to step away for a while because they can't stand more of the Glazers running the club into the ground and INEOS cutting charities, good on them. That doesn't make them any less fans.

Week in and week out United never fail to deliver their brand of high/low energy entertainment. Each time they skip and prance out onto the field surely deserves a thunderous applause, a few chants and a loud song from the terraces. At the end of the game (when the curtain is brought down) we are so often overcome with gladness (and tears) that we also wonder why is it not that these brave eleven souls haven't at least earned an Oscar and movie contract?
