As a Spurs fan I’m convinced we have the worst fans in the world. They are constantly complaining. No manager in the world can come in and suddenly make everybody healthy. They need more depth and then they’ll go back to winning.

I agree we have the worst fanbase in the world. No standards. Singing Ange’s name at 5 - 1 down. Look at the results with and without VDV, it ain’t much different. In my opinion, the team's problem is the changes of coaches, each one brings players who fit his style of play, with the result that the players do not fit together, for example, Kulusevski does not give the ball but wants to carry it. Levi must stay with one coach for several years, the team must be built from scratch, patience from the fans is needed, support for the self-confidence of the players and the coach, the results will come after a few years, not immediately. Sir Alex did not build United in 3 or 4 years, it took him time, but he also endured for a long time. I don't know if Anji is this coach, although I would like it to be him. I like his football and the way he talks and thinks.

But in he distance there were shouts. As a sound engineer I can judge how many. Remember Arsenal lost the title form losing to Aston Villa home & away. This also prevented spurs getting in the top 4. Craig brought up Spurs having lots of injuries. And I take that on board because the reality is, whether people accept it or not, the quality of a team decreases as more and more starters get injured. But the problem is, as a pundit, you can’t selectively apply the injury angle to one team but then overlook it with others. I never heard Craig last year bring up the fact United or Chelsea were destroyed by injuries. But he always brought it up with Newcastle. When the reality was those three sides were the most injured teams in the entire Premier League. And they finished the year all within 3 points of each other as a result. Craig has a soft spot for Ange but it’s clouded his analysis of Spurs too much. And the problem I have is when pundits don’t apply the same logic to similar situations with teams.

I feel like Ange would save his job if he stopped running a 4-3-3 (really a 4-1-2-3) and ran a 4-2-1-3. The 2 CDMs in front of the CBs would help shield the goal on the counterattack by taking up the space that the wingbacks move out of in the attacking phase, slowing down the counterattack and allowing the CAM and wingers to win the ball back against that high line. This would also allow for more passing options when passing out from the back during build-up that he demands.

Ange should "resign" immediately and join a rival club, leaving the delusional Tottenham fans to face their harsh reality. This pathetic organization is a shadow of its pretenses, and Ange deserves far better than to waste his talent here.
Tottenham will soon regret not respecting him; they'll struggle to find a decent manager again. History shows that coaches like Conte and Mourinho have left in disdain, proving the problem runs deep.

Don't always agree with Mr Burley but in this instance he is correct. Ange should definitely get until the rest of the season, to see how they perform in all competitions. They are down to their bare bones at the moment and they must strengthen next month. If we have learnt anything through City's poor results recently is that even with Pep in charge, if the squad is thing and the team has lost some confidence it can take a while to get back to winning ways.

That’s got nothing to do with how bad they’re playing and the injuries are partially due to his style of play. His style of football isn’t sustainable at this level

@@alphawollf5589 The injuries aren't down to his style of play, that's just a narrative that is put out that is total nonsense. The players who have been injured have had those injuries before playing for Ange and the schedule has been hectic. His style of football is fine, today they adapted a bit and played differently but you won't hear that in the media because that doesn't fit the narrative they are trying to put out.
Fans should support the team through this tough moment and see who they bring in for this January window, then see how the team does in all competitions. If Ange can get to a final or win something, it would be massive for the club considering the season they are having.

Ange is attacking coach. Every match will be exciting with heaps of goals. Do people really like 0 - 0 draws. He is a breathe of fresh air. I would rather loses 4-3 , than 1-0. Best defence is always to be really attacking. He has so many injuries, its almost impossible for him to win games. It shows the club doesnt have the depth yet. I will love it, when he proves everybidy wrong. Where ever ange has coached he has turned average teams into winners. Give the guy some time

    - Lowest points total in a calendar year since 2008
    - Worst PL record in 2024 aside from Wolves and West Ham
    - First PL team to fall behind 1-0 in 15 home games in one calendar year
    - Worse points per game average this season than Christian Gross
    - Only 4 points ahea dof Palace who didn't win any of their first 9
    - More losses than any team outside the relegation zone
    - 34 more goals conceded than at same time during Conte's reign
    - £330 million spent
    - No change of tactics or any ingame management
    - Win % doesn't differ regardless of which back 4 are playing
Buy, yeah, Craig Burley thinks this is just reactionary and nothing to do with Spurs' football being terrible for around 14 months.
