Is it wrong for me to automatically try to use the v sound to try and make a b? im a begginner 15 year old ventriloquist and i just would like some help from someone who very obviously is amazing at what they do!! ive tried the “dottle of deer” and its very obviously not well sounding ^^ any tips?
No, it is NOT WRONG at all. Dottle of deer, and Gottle of Gear never worked for me either. I sincerely believe that you develop you techniques best without trying to follow specific advice. I think we are all different. With my videos, I try to explain what works for me. That doesn't mean it will automatically work for everyone, but it is another technique you can experiment with. I think the MOST important thing is for you to experiment with various techniques and work on the ones that feel best and seem easiest for you. I look forward to hearing how you progress. I am sure you are going to do awesome!!
