Thank you for a good honest review you answered my questions in this video and was very helpful. Cheers
No worries
Excellent review. Iv got this bivvy, my partner and I fish together, have 2 Nash indulgence SS4 5 season sleep systems. Space is exceptional, like you, can not fault it! Plus it looks the bollox on the bank!
Thx 🙏
Going to order one thanks for your honest opinion 👍
No problem 👍
Always said in fairness that Nash sell the most durable bivvy out there.. good review Carl 👍
Yip
I’ve had a T1 and still have it along with the original T2 - you don’t need an extra groundsheet in my opinion. No worries with either of mine and had them for years.
I would say the same unless you fish stone covered pegs
@@Carlfishing I am tempted to buy a T1, as for an extra ground sheet, a cheap one from Go Outdoors for £20 will do the job, will trimming, or just folding over. But the weight is quite a bit, not a problem if you can park near your swim.
I've had the mk1 T2 for 2 years now. Used a huge amount of times, never had a problem with it!! Great bivvy, ideal for me.
Loads of room, get all my gear in it for a 3,4,5 night session.
These are solid, wind, driving rain, red hot days with the vents open, which are massive by the way and the best thing is the lack of insects and other critters getting in.
Can go social on another peg leaving it wide open knowing its ok!
Thumbs up for me.
I would recommend the extra groundsheet too..yeah, it cost me an extra £70/80 or so but I've found that having that gives me piece of mind that no matter what swim in on, I'm not going to pierce the bottom of my bivvy on a rock or whatever. Plus, you can lay the groundsheet on a swim exactly where you want your bivvy and voilà, it sits perfectly on top of it 👌
Highly recommended, great video. Good work! 👍
Cheers
Hiya Deb! Refreshing to see a real review and not another sales pitch.
Westlake do a bivvy peak, clips onto the bars and pegs either side. I've used it for the titan hide XL stops the the rain driving in and works a treat
Have you got a link Sean
Have a look in go outdoors Carl they have them in there for 43.99
Good honest review that one mate. Good view 👍🏻
Cheers chap 👌👍🙏
Great review I've just purchased one a great point made is that you may not be able to follow the fish because of its size. On my water it won't fit in most of the swims.
It’s a base camp and stalk in the day and be a king at night lol
Hi Carl, great honest video as always m8 👍
Cheers 🍻
Nice to see you back buddy & a great honest review 👏 Just ordered the T3 for a planned France trip with the lad & this gives Me confidence that I've invested wisely 😊 Take care & I'll look forward to the next vlog 👍
Honest review, legend !
Cheers but far from a legend lol
@@Carlfishing Trust me mate you are, I've been looking at 2 man bivvys for months trying to figure out what to buy and all I usually see are paid sponsors only telling you the good points.
Not sure how to put links on mate but go outdoors best price for the westlake bivvy peak 1 or 2 man £30 - £40 The big names don't make one. U will need an extending bank stick tho to tension the top out from the titan block. Does work a treat!
Thx
On my way home from anglingdirect after buying this bivvy from watching your review 👌🏽🍻
Cracking Bivvy
keeping it real ty mate
That exactly the plan
Just got this for £399 Black Friday deal total fishing tackle. Then an overwrap from eBay from Nash official for £120 👌🏻 absolute bargain
same here £399 total fishing tackle ,also groundsheet for £59 as well 👌
outrageous value for money
I know
Have the t1 brilliant bivvy, Agree about the peak
We are not the o my one ☝️
Just saw this and good Video just like to know dose the inner capsule come with the bivvy and you have to buy a groundsheet as well? Cheers 🎣🎣🎣
The inner capsule is with the Bivvy which has its own sewn in groundsheet
You have to buy a separate groundsheet if you don’t use your capsule.
Great review, looks a great bivvy but my god £750 and an optional extra groundsheet for £170 😳 Nash are taking the piss
It’s steep but worth it
Groundsheets are 89.99
Fair enough mate, I was just going by what Carl said, I’ve got the jrc with an over wrap and heavy duty groundsheet included, I think the Titans look great but they’re just crazy money, just my opinion
I really want the mk2 T1 but stock just insnt available so I’m thinking of just getting one of these instead but it looks massive
They should do a double bed chair for couples.
Nash do one
Have you still got this? Hows it doing? Also what is the inner capsule groundsheet like compared to a standard heavy duty groundsheet?
Cheers.
Yes still have it and it's fine. The second ground sheet is heavy duty but I made my own at a fraction of the price
Yeah this is my next bivvy I’ve got the hide but looking to have a bigger one
Cool
Epdm rubber for flat roofs will last longer than any ground sheet and nowhere near £170
Put a link up chap
I have the T1 and the T2 in camo best bivvys I have owned 👍
Do you think you could get two bedchairs in the t1 mate?
@@daleleeder would be a squeeze but yes if you took the inner capsule out definitely yes
Hi ya Sean, looking to buy a T2 camo for taking to France what's your view on them ?
@@paulwalsh8550 great mate over in France with mine now lol
Need to get a ground sheet extra though
Since having a tempest brolly system, i dont understand why ppl buy bivvys ,they can be a pain to put up
Didn’t the tempest construction come from the Titan construction 🙃🙂🤔🤔🤔
@@Carlfishing ill be honest i have no idea, its a good system ,they rob u blind for it like nash for it though
You should do a video on how to make your own ground sheet that would be good 🎣👍👍
Pay for the truck tarp in black and then I’ll do it. I already have one made so I don’t need two
Great video! Just wondered how you went about making your own groundsheet...when you say you "stitched it in", do you mean you stitched it to the actual bivvy itself? If so, how did you put it away?
No I bought a truck tarp with is better quality than the original and cut and sewn it into shape. I did not see int into the titan.
@@Carlfishing thanks for the response...glad I checked before ruining my new bivvy!
Iv just brought the titan t2 mkll can you do a video of the easiest way to set it up with the infill in as I feel I'm doing something wrong
Not really but I do feel your pain David
I got a t1 mk2 they the nuts had jrc's trakkers cyprinus chub and the nash is better in ever way
Yup 👍
Do you have any water pooling issues on the roof? I do on my camp T2 but don’t seem to get them on my T1. I’m wondering if i have defective manufacturing that has caused the material not to tension correctly….
No but it depends on the angle as there is a small flat area near the centre which could potentially catch water. Either lower or higher the front if that’s the case.
Great review Carl - I’m looking at this and the hide XL and I’m struggling to decide. Do you have any knowledge of the new hide XL. I’ve seen reviews but like you say, they’re all paid and not an honest, genuine review. Cheers
Nope I only had eyes on the Titan in the end.
I've had a hide xl for 2 years. Very pleased with it and no issues so far other than a broken front pole which was my own fault
Only thing with the hide there is no porch on them the new ones in camo out this year has one 👍
Is it really comfortable for 2 ppl?
You could squeeze in three so yes
@@Carlfishing
Do you know here some difference T2 MK2 vs T2 Camo or only camo pattern is difference? As I see in 2019 Nash show us T2 Camo and in 2021 T2 MK2.
@@CreedAve just colour I think and price. Contact Nash directly to confirm
@@Carlfishing already msg them, but usually it takes some time for answer)
Thanks a lot
Do you have any photos of your homemade ground sheet please. Would like to have a got at making one myself. Thanks
No chap sorry
Hi Carl and debs how are finding the t2 any leaks yet also do you find enough room for you both after using it a few times
To much room, kidding and no leaks
No issues
I also have the armo 2 man but looking to replace it after 15 years plus thanks for the honest review you still in paas I was gutted when they stopped your footage from above and water reviews keep up with the post don't let people beat you pal
Good video, but my titan 1 leaked at back by mesh window, have you had any issues with this one,
Cheers , Mike T
None as of yet. There is tine thou
You need to get a winter skin
Nope I’m winter I’m on my own as Debs doesn’t do winter fishing
Where did you buy yours from?
Angling direct I think
170 quid for a groundsheet? Really?
Would this fit two nash indulgence ss3 beds thanks
This would fit you king size bed
@@Carlfishing thanks as I've already got it all just havent used it yet unfortunately
Lets see if it stands the test of time, had a few bivvys that have been good to start with and then over time bits have fell off, snaped est then I have gone back to my 15+ year old aqua mk1.
=
Yes 100% I’ve found the same with some of the modern bivvies and sadly value and reward seems to be the definitive thing when it comes to quality. Like you say, tome will tell
£170 for a inner groundsheet - yikes
I know 😬😬😬
Good bivvy, but material is 210d with 5000mm hydrostatic pressure… it’s terrible thing. In 21century this is very technological (no)…
Overkill isn’t always needed, especially if you can’t see in the Bobby with poor light.
Head-torches should be used at night only
@@Carlfishing I agree. But it’s interesting for me how many rainy days it’s can withstand? Because I think 5000mm it’s very terrible for this price. Trakker, Fox, Aqua can offer you 10000mm + materials.
Main question: how many rainy day Nash T2 can withstand. Non stop moderate rain, how many days?
@@CreedAve Had an outwell Hartford tent for a decade and camped in it for 5 weeks over the summer holidays every year with the mrs kids and dog, with only 5000 hydro static head
Money they must make out of that!
I hope they do as positive rules over negative
You must be high paying that
More than you know
8 out of 5 you sed how dose that work lol
You tell me
Sorry Dude think you could have cut this video in half, you waffling a lot there mate, don't know why you obsessed about the peak, even if Nash made it another foot long you never gonna stop a force 10 if its coming straight at you!! or I guess you could just put the clear waterproof window in which comes supplied!! I have the Nash Titan 2 and the Nash Titan 3 and I only paid £80.00 each for the heavy duty ground sheet. I Have NEVER seen either ground sheet advertised for £170.00 or any where near that so don't know where you got that from!! Also you cant have it both ways mate, if you want a large 2 man Bivvy don't take it to a pond with you, take a 1 man Bivvy and just leave the misses at home!! For me the Nash Titan 2 and 3 are definitely a 10 out of 10 I'm not getting paid for this review just my honest opinion!! Tight lines & all the best mate. 👍
Thanks for watching and yes originally the matching exact groundsheets was £170.. I’m not going to alter videos due to opinions as it’s me and everyone else is taken.
If you can’t be yourself then you’ve failed in life but again thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Take care and enjoy life
Nash trash
Some stuff is trash granted, I hate the tinny rods if I’m honest
Don’t hate the game but play the game. It takes balls to make things happen and build a brand. I hear what your saying thou but staff and everything else involved in getting it to market isn’t cheap too.
5000mm hidrostátic head is absolutely shit this level of fabric is used on the cheapest bivvies on the market! as an example trakker tempest is 25000 hh 5 x better ........ Nash Cash
Cheers
it's published as having 10,000 HH.
@taffman1 Mixed information on the HH of this bivvy advertised as 5,000hh on some sites 10,000hh on others even if its 10,000 its still at the level of a lower priced bivvy ! Most companies nowadays are at a minimum of 12,000 and thats the cheap end of the market
Fox , Trakker , Aqua , & even Cyprinus provides a better level of material for less cost.
@@davidjohnson5369 Still all made in China and won't last ten years. This is actaully one of the best Bivvy's on the market, Only thing that comes close is the Tempest 200rs for 200+ more and then 200 for inner capsule. Thats a lot of money for a diluted brand like Trakker. There was a lot of hype around the fox 2 man, but then loads of reports of leakages followed and a glut of them ended up on ebay. So Hydro static head numbers aside. This is one of the best on the market. Nearly as good as the great discontinued bivvies of yesteryear, that only had 5000 hydro static head.
