@@bop-monkeybaby5894 - if it is a toothbrush most likely the monkey won't be injured as they are not that stiff, and I doubt you are scrubbing with it as one would scrub a dirty grill top. Monkeys have a high tolerance for pain - much different than that of a human - although it did not look as if you were causing it any pain. I realise there are many in the comment section who comment based on emotion rather than fact though which makes it more of a challenge to know which way to go sometimes.

There are resources on RUclips and the web that will forewarn you of how their personality and actions will change when they hit puberty. That is when they become uncontrollable and destructive and is when most families either dump them in a park or jungle where they are at risk of starving or being killed by other monkeys, or some will sell them to labs.
