How are they going to enforce the knife ban in public spaces? This sounds impractical, which makes me think it is just smoke and mirrors. Also, if they are telling people that they are going to be deported, then why do they not deport them after the decision has been made? I don't share that position on migration, but this isn't about what I think is (morally) right. It is about what is practical. If someone has been told they cannot stay in a country, then the authorities must remove them from the country immediately. If the person tries to hide, they must be tracked down and arrested. I was an international student in Australia years ago, and due to severe illness, I wasn't fulfilling the requirements of my student visa to attend 80% of my classes. My university reported me to immigration because they were obliged to by law. I received a notification letter that I had one month to improve my attendance or my visa would be canceled and I would be deported within 48 hours. I would have been physically tracked down, accompanied to the airport by the authorities, and put on an airplane. Moreover, my passport would have been flagged so that I could not enter Australia again for a certain period of time. If I tried to run away and hide in the outback, the Australian authorities would have still tracked me down and deported me. Germany's bureaucracy is utterly absurd. What they perceive as "organization" is actually just an idiotic system of red tape that facilitates incompetence. It is incomprehensibly asinine. p. s. - I was not deported from Australia thanks to an emergency medical document from my doctor explaining why I could not attend class and why I could not fly, and I did improve my attendance and graduate from that university within the following year. But the point is - they would have forced me out very quickly if I did not meet the requirements for extenuating medical circumstances.

They could be deported any second if immigration enforcement gets hold of them. But they don't. The US talks a tougher game than Germany on that topic, but mostly it's bluster and they've given up, just with a higher ratio of deportation and a much higher amount of problems generated by these immigrants. Not emphasizing the difference between illegal immigration/asylum seekers and legal migration, often involving skilled workers, is absurd and very dangerous for Germany and any other country that needs specialised workers to keep the economy running and to maintain or increase the level of well-being for the entire population.
You don't need to make this complicated. The EU rules clearly state that a person must apply for asylum in the first EU country they land in. This means no one can apply for asylum after entering Germany. If we send a message that breaking this law results in automatic asylum application refusal, no one would dare to apply by any other means.Benefits will be provided to individuals who lawfully apply for asylum. These benefits will cease if the application is rejected. If individuals still require support while living in Germany until they leave, they will be required to visit the closest office to their residence on a weekly basis. This measure will enable authorities to track their whereabouts and prevent them from disappearing.
Why would they let asylum seekers go to the countries they are seeking asylum from? If it's so dangerous for them to be there and is the reason for them seeking asylum why are they going back and forth?
because many assylm seekers dont apply for genuine reasons. The asslym exsist in your life is at threat so you could be safe. This is misused for economic gains so they can come to Germany and just be on benefits. Some people use this to bypass work visa system as well.

Politicians are voted to create or adjust laws, not to naivly following them.

@@Henklord Good luck with that. The vast majority of stabbings are by natives. Lets take statistics for a year where a lot of data is available and easy to find; 2017. Now, because of privacy reasons, it is hard to find exact numbers in fine categories, so the following number is not "murders by illegal immigrants", but instead "murder, manslaughter, attempted murder & attempted manslaughter by illegal immigrants". This number is 27. So it could be as low as 0, or it could be as high as 27. Lets take the worst case scenario: 27 out of 2379 murders in 2017 were by illegal immigrants. The attack in Solingen highlights a critical issue: integrating individuals from war-torn and culturally distinct regions can be fraught with challenges. Differences in socio-cultural norms and beliefs can strain societal cohesion. It is logical to re-evaluate our immigration policies to ensure they are effective in promoting successful integration. This may involve stricter vetting and improved support systems to better align incoming individuals with our societal values and stability. Policies should be evidence-based and aimed at balancing humanitarian goals with practical integration needs.

For those who keep saying that in the past the Germans and the Japanese were just as bad or even worse: yes, and we dealt with them. And hundreds of years ago it was the British, the French, the Spanish and the Portuguese; and before them it was the Swedish; and before them the Romans. So what's your point? Maybe in 100 years from now it will be the Canadians or the Finnish, who knows? We don't live in the past or in the future; we live in present, and right now Islam is the greatest threat to world peace, even if it isn't the only one. And we need to deal with it in the same way we have dealt with other threats thoroughout history.

How many women were sexually assaulted on New Year’s Eve in Cologne? 🤬 Nobody has a right to live in somebody’s country or home.

As a latin american I can say that Germans can and must protect they country from foreing alien threats. Why receive a migration that will cause more harm than good? or a type of harm you don´t like? You are not obligated to accept them.
The US is not obligated to accept any of your countrymen. But still, about 10 million undocumented immigrants, mostly from South America, live in the US. They could be deported any second if immigration enforcement gets hold of them. But they don't. The US talks a tougher game than Germany on that topic, but mostly it's bluster and they've given up, just with a higher ratio of deportation and a much higher amount of problems generated by these immigrants. Now, because of privacy reasons, it is hard to find exact numbers in fine categories, so the following number is not "murders by illegal immigrants", but instead "murder, manslaughter, attempted murder & attempted manslaughter by illegal immigrants".

27 out of 2379 murders in 2017 were by illegal immigrants.
Which means 2352 murders in 2017 were NOT committed by illegal immigrants.
