So as a industry feature film person... i stumbled on this by fluke.. its really well done.. on any level. Shots are great, nothing is boring.. iT all moves.. you have a good energy on lens... and your shooting is great.. editing is really good.. love that you do stuff like eat, and camp.. music is good.. this is worthy of a network show.. like speed channel.. good lady.. well done
@@ridetofood I had a head start, I starting riding the streets in East TX at age 9. A quitter at age 74. Keep up the good work young Lady. I like food too, lol
Great video of the area and camping too. Really don't know how you do it (film, dialoge, etc) but thank you for doing it, gives me inspiration. As for the other, COVID, we started seeing it up here back in late 2019, but not until early 2020 did anything come of it with restrictions etc. Stay safe, ride safe and please keep doing the "Food" . ty
Hadn't seen this video. Love it. I think you were the first person I saw using an insta360 type cam. Also, like to see the progression of your talent in video production and editing over the years. Keep the awesome content coming!!
At home in Windsor after this years first "snowfall" with the bike safe and warm in the garage and me suffering the effects of a cold makes for a good opportunity to catch up on some motorcycle vids. I'm going to check out that Ft Davis area on my maps and see if I can incorporate that into a K River run we are working on for next spring. Thank you for the video
I just found your videos. Watched a few and gotta say your full of information. Motorcycle camping is something ive wanted to do since i was a kid but i travelforwork. East Texas here. Stay safe 🤙🤙
Neat video, great sites along the way. I am sold on the GoPro Max, love the way you can spin the view around and hit different points to focus on as you move. Stay Safe, Stay Cool!
I love shooting with the max! Super Versatile, especially for vlogging. I had the fusion prior and they're both great, but the in-camera stitching is a huge plus, and the updated editing software makes it super easy to move keyframes around and position your shot. it's still an extra step in the editing process but it's worth it in my opinion! :)
The problem with this video is that now I’m feeling this quarantine Even More!!! 😭 Seriously, thanks for creating and sharing this, Staci! Rev On! 🙌🏾💯🙌🏾
I'm over here like, do I love this or thumbs down this or thumbs up it because this comment gives me the same feels as your comment, lol! Thanks for watching!!! More on the way!
@@ridetofood RAD! Keep 'em coming! I'll just keep pretending it's me in the saddle and then cry myself to sleep when the video ends. That is sincere praise for this Truly, Great Work! 🙌🏾💯🙌🏾
Staci, Nice video. Fort Davis has some beautiful views. Not a bad way to spend your quarantine. Too bad it rained but still a lousy time on the road is better than a good day at home. See you on the next one and Instagram. 😉
Definitely not a bad way to self isolate yourself, even if you gotta nap all day because of the rain, hahaha! I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for following along. :)
@@ridetofood 2 GoPros, a new Sony mirror less and a drone. I’ll attempt something but I’m not all that creative or knowledgeable. I have typical middle aged man skills.
You reference the scenic loop as highway 166 & 118 in the description, but are there signs indicating how to stay on the loop? I have an old Road King so my gas tank doesn't stretch the miles, lol. I don't want to get too far off "the beaten path" without a gas station in my near future.
In the video I show where the split off is. If you ride the loop counter clockwise you veer left as I do in the video :) I believe there is a sign just before the split as you come down the little hill
Did you only have one tunnel in? I constantly feel my ears all day to check mine lol. Loved the video and the scenery. Definitely going to have to check this place out
Low Class my ears have been acting up lately with how dry it is at home and that one ear needed a break from jewelry for a few days. I was wondering if anyone was going to notice/say something! Hahaha! I really enjoy wearing silicone tunnels when I have a helmet on though. Makes it more comfortable. Thanks for the kind words and for watching! 🤘
Great video. I'm thinking of buying property in the Bloys camp region of Davis Mountains. I just Googled Bloys camp myself... it's all fascinating. I ride a Ninja 300 occasionally but I'm not into long road trips. Admire your adventuresome spirit. And thank you for the informative video.
oh I got a giant rock chip in the fairing the day I got the tins on the bike. hahaha which is just my luck. If you're gonna ride your bike it's gonna get chipped, that's just the way the cookie crumbles. :) and, thank you!!
Because sometimes after long ride days, my ears can get agitated from being smashed in a helmet for hundreds of miles a day. that happened on this trip. :)
Thanks fur everything I could watch you all day

Thank you!! Maybe one day i'll be taking guy fieri to flavor town by way of motorcycle. hahahahaha
Thank you for your videos, I intend to watch them all. After 65 years on 2 wheels I had to finally hang it up, sold my Harley last March.
65 years is a great ride! I bet you have some great stories from all those years on the road! Hope I can get there some day. 54 more to go! 😎

just a bit before 166 ends going east, on your left in video there is a great pull over spot, parking with a bluff and some rock climbing
nice! ill have to check that out next time! :)

Love these videos. I’m doing my first REALLY long ride around Texas and back to Phoenix in March. Oddly excited to see an HEB again. 🤔
Oooo gotta get some primo picks and Texas pecan coffee!! 🤣🙌 I love me some HEB

Love it.. Looks like an amazing ride.. Going to do some 2 wheel social distancing tomorrow and taking a mental day from work
Biker Medic enjoy! And thanks for the kind words. West Texas is magical. Should be on every riders bucket list, IMO.
I was just there last week
Same xact places as u😊
nice!
is there a lot of riding with large bikes there, thinking of relocating.
Most people who ride in the area are on ADV's or Touring bikes. Wide open roads with low population
Dope. Love the camera ☺️
Ready to check out those bomb food spots you post about in STL as soon as this whole ordeal is over with!
Cool video 👌 your doing what I did a month ago. Just got back to RGV from Wyoming trip🏍️🏕️
Wondering about relocating to Fort Davis, selling out in NC and planning on renting. On average what would a decent one BR house or APT cost monthly?
im not a realtor. you'd have better luck with google
Why are people disliking these awesome videos!
Whoooo knows. 🤣
If you get in hill country let me know love to ride with you for a day
Hopefully in March I’ll be back out there!
Happy I got to help with the gas to make this video!
You're a ruler! Thank you!!!
You are hardcore girl.... You make me putting around on my Road King look stupid!
no way! everyone rides their own ride and as long as you're having fun that's all that matters!
Why do you only have 1 plug in your ears
Because sometimes after long ride days, my ears can get agitated from being smashed in a helmet for hundreds of miles a day. that happened on this trip. :)
Wonderful scenery! Thank you for sharing 😊 🇺🇸 @stlchuckhd
