Appreciate your perspective. I’ve booked business class on Air France for next spring - special occasion, my 70th birthday . Am looking forward to it, but as you said, most likely won’t fly business class again after that. My flight leaves New York at 10:30 pm, so I’ll already be tired and way past my normal meal time!
I hope you have a great time, I treated myself to Australia a year ago business class and it was worth every penny!

Flew A.F. Paris (CDG) - São Paulo (GRU) recently, business class. Excellent on all fronts, service, food, comfort. I find I’m using airport lounges less and less now, most are no longer only for premium paying passengers and frequently overcrowded. Often better options in the main airport areas.
You're 100% correct. Nowadays so many people have airline status or credit cards that the lounges seem to be more crowded than the gate area at times. I find myself leaving the lounge early to find some peace and quiet elsewhere in the airport.

I did not! They may provide those amenities on longer flights possibly.
Very nice video !! But whe you‘ve paid 6.000 $ for a oneway flight from JFK to CGD something went wrong. There are defnitely much cheaper options…

Thank you! And yes, while I'm grateful that I was able to fly business class I do wonder if I would've been better off with Delta to Paris or British Airways and Virgin Atlantic to London instead since the AF experience was a bit lackluster in certain categories.
