Trip Report: Air France Business Class A350 CDG to Dubai.
Just how good is Air France in Business Class on one of their key routes, the twice a day flight to Dubai, where the airline goes head to head with Emirates. With high hopes of French high cuisine and some Parisian style I headed to Paris CDG. However, surly staff, woeful catering, non existent wifi, and belligerent passengers - and that's just on the ground - set this up to be a flight like no other.

Nice video! Can you believe the lounge at K gates is only 20 years old and was slightly refreshed a few years back… it does look like it belongs in the 70s though, we’ve come a long way in lounge design in the last few years! I tried the A350 business seat and found it quite narrow around the legs when in bed mode, and so scratched and dirty after only a few years in the air, I don’t think this cabin will age well despite looking generally sleek.
Considering the food is so good would love to see you review First from Paris to Singapore in the AF 777. Really good small first class suite and epic food always.

Whaddya mean, no British content ? I watched The Duke (you scrolled past it) on the flight from Paris to Santiago de Chile. British and lots of fun. Agreed, K lounge is a depressing sub-standard affair.

the cabin of the A350 seems very silent compared to other Airbus aircrafts and compared to the Boeing 777, can you confirm ? thanks
Yes, it certainly is, particularly compared to the 777.
What industry are you in which allows you to do this for work?
Very enjoyable video. Reminded me of a transfer at CDG 20 years ago. Took an early shuttle from LHR, thinking CDG would be great. Oh dear, and our connection was 5 hours late, giving us an additional 7 hours in CDG..........at no extra cost! Never again, even if Air France really do look good.
I'm only half way through but can't stop laughing, they need Alien style cattle prods for those pesky economy class passengers. Always turn your electric cattle prod into flight mode of couse before taking off......
As an aside, you were lucky, the whole of France has now gone on strike at sea level. God knows what that entails at 37 000 feet ?
Perhaps the flightcrew moving back to check out the croissants?

boy do you have some bad luck on airplanes or maybe you take the wrong carriers - I find Emirates, Singapore, Cathe and Eva all very reliable
