NPC Advantages: 1 intimidator (tauros, staraptor, arcanine) required, because serperior takes too much damage from flare blitz and has no way to cancel swords dance. gardevoir (life dew, synchronize for burns), bellibolt (discharge, light screen), umbreon (thunder wave, synchronize for burns), drifblim (will-o-wisp), sylveon (charm, moonblast), arboliva (seed sower), and dudunsparce (thunder wave) are helpful.
Strategy: wait for your stats to reset. coil, taunt, giga drain. wait for infernape to clear its stats. coil. charge tera orb with giga drain (targeting NPCs to boost healing). terastalize. giga drain when you need HP. 4-6 growth. giga drain to victory.
Notes: contrary can work with leaf storm replacing growth, but this means you can't use coil, so you have to rely on reflect, which can expire when you need to heal (and you take too much damage if you don't renew it immediately). although calm mind is an option, the problem is that the special defense buffs encourage infernape to use flare blitz, and serperior cannot survive a flare blitz criticial hit (which has a 50% chance of happening after it uses focus energy).
Pros: supereffective tera type matching base type, great defense and special attack stats, decent special defense stat, outspeeds infernape. resists grass knot, growth buffs special attack 1 stage. coil buffs defense 1 stage. taunt blocks infernape from using nasty plot. giga drain has 75 base power, 100 accuracy, and deals supereffective STAB (tera-boosted when terastalized) damage. it heals an amount equal to 50% of the damage it deals. metronome boosts damage by a factor that increases with consecutive attacks (1x,1.2x,1.4x,...,maxes at 2x). overgrow gives 1.5x boost to giga drain when HP is below 1/3.
Cons: weak to flare blitz, poor HP stat

i'm on a mission to beat this raid with every starter. a third of them are grass types, so i had to get used to it.
