The new Pokémon Games coming out have some real potential. Do you think that the new games will be any better than the last games that got released?

Unfortunately Nintendo only cares about the money and the last pokemon game was their most sold pokemon game ever not much will change unless they see a drastic drop in revenue.
They were given a longer developing time due to criticism but it doesn't mean they got a bigger budget too.
The game will be like Legends Arceus, the core elements will be the same with some added extras.
It will come out before they launch the switch 2 so performance wise it will be very similar.
Base game will be usual $60 for each version and two separate paid dlcs.
People will still buy it and drool over it bc it's pokemon, they will get their money and not fix anything.
They will have to make more money than previously, that's how capitalism and the corporate world works.

Pokémon A and Z? This is a legends game similar to Legends Arceus it isnt a pair if games like Scarlet and Violet its a single game called Legends Z-A.

Bdsp is a faithful remake like fire red and leaf green although with a chibi artsyle, its not a remake with new gimmicks like omega ruby and alpha sapphire, theres no way people like you are still mad about that

1. The game looks straight ugly, like a bunch of pop figures walking around a plato world. I don't give a fuck if its being "faithful"
2. The whole reason the style was chibi on the DS is because they couldn't do 3d with the hardware it was on. BDSP isn't on the DS its on the switch so keeping the old style is dumb.
3. Firered leaf green is waaaaaaaaaay more of a at that time modern reinterpretation of red and green. It had the same artstyle as the modern games, new features and modern mechanics. Its not like bdsp which literally just recreated it in 3d and did nothing to update the outdated design and appearance
4. I would rather have a good remake then a faithful remake

I recently had two health scares so I'll be buying the game regardless .
I realised we don't have long on earth 🌎 and I'm in my 30s already .
My Mum thinks I've Diabetes and i already have a Iron problem .

At 05:10 you say that the gameboy and ds era were popular because they were hard, But the Switch games are the second and third best selling pair of games in the franchise

let's be careful with this gamefreak narrative. I hate that they're the ones who often catch the heat
Gamefreak, while far from the greatest developers, are hardly to blame for these issues. It all comes down to The Pokemon Company.
Gamefreak and TPC are 2 separate entities.
TPC enforces strict deadlines on Pokemon game development cycles because the games simply aren't responsible for the majority of their revenue, They would rather rush these games out the door so they have more pokemon and characters to make TCG cards, merch, and anime episodes out of. Where the majority of the revenue comes from.

I have not liked any of the Switch Pokemon games, I've stopped playing all of them in the middle. Legends: Arceus is the only one that was even interesting and I still didn't finish it. I'm not planning on buying anymore games from them at this point. I'll stick to romhacks and fangames

Like how you were saying how the games don’t look the best It would be really cool if they remake black and white if you would be able to go into settings and go into classic graphics like pixelated how it was on the DS like the same artstyle
