This vacuum did mark the end of an era for Panasonic vacuums in the US. I do like the color scheme of the MC-UG383 a bit better rather than the lime green of this one. I do remember Kenmore made some Power Path models that used this same design.

@@panasonicvac4036 I like that those use the older Ametek motor than the newer presumably Chinese made motor that the last of the Panasonic uprights used like this one.

Wish Panasonic still make vacs here. Besides the New Riccar Spirit & the Cirrus there's not alot of modern Uprights that speak to me or worth giving recommendations

There are plenty of good options, if you know where to look for them of course. Like earlier this week, I picked up a Simplicity 7350 from the thrift store.

The Panasonic vacuum headlight is burned out, it will need the new headlight to replacing it.
