Me, a 13 year old, watching this carefully
Fr💀 we aren’t going to be balding for another 30 years but we still watch these just for the future acting like we gonna remember it
14 yrs💀
Honestly, Ben, I've been watching you for 2-3 years and your hairline has not moved, nor your density decreased. You seem to have natural fine and straight hair. It may looks thinner now, only because it's much shorter. Plus you're looking at your hair under harsh bright light, of course you'll see right through it. I advise you let it grow a little bit, ask for a textured haircut and let the fringe hang loose in a somewhat messy way on your forehead.
No way that you have 87k subscribers! It's crazy.I subscribe to you when you are like 5k and i feel like it was 10 days ago.Keep your work, you are great
Thanks boss
What do you think about the shampoos and conditioners Nioxin offers?
Dandruff is actually a problem of oily scalps (malassezia feeds on sebum), so using sulfates when you do need them to keep your scalp clean is not a bad thing at all. I think what you mean by sulfates possibly causing dandruff is in fact dry flakes instead.
5:16 dude you look like Mr. Bean there
LoL. Looking like the mr.bean on crack!
Nah not really
nah not rlly bro
This is my two cents....Once you land a wife, stop worrying about it. A wife or even a good girlfriend is going to be in love with you regardless of how much or how little hair you have. Everyone else, other than that special person, is too wrapped up in their own lives to ever care about how your head looks. Being neurotic about ones looks is very much a teenager/20's problem. As you get older, you realize that much of what you were worrying about was never actually a big deal and you will feel much happier.
also, great video.
wow pretty deep man. I appreciate your commentary
That is so naive man ... If you knew anything about the female nature, you would not have said this ... You can not become complacent even after you have a partner ... You have to keep improving yourself in all areas of life, including your looks ... The moment you start making progress and become too comfortable and take things for granted, she will lose respect for you ... That being said, you can look without hair as well ... And yeah, I agree with you on your last point that we worry about the wrong things ...
Thank you for these videos.
Okay curious question, how often should you wash out hair products, I've heard it's bad to sleep with hair products in but it's also bad to wash it out with shampoo every night the time.... Help.
well, I personally do it this way: my hair gets greasy fairly easy, so I wash it every two days. on the first day, I style it without any product, just comb & dry it, and I only use a little bit of paste on the second day, knowing that I'll wash it out next morning
5:12 I noticed you have learned how to gel your hair form Alison Quinn :)
😂😂
Hair loss is for the most part, not a disease, it happens at random to men regardless of ethnicity. I appreciate what you're doing here.
Are you still taking finasteride?
Not washing your hair everyday is not a good idea. Im using hair products such as hair wax everyday for work. How can i not washing away all those wax on my head? Is that even healthy for my hair?
This is the exact same argument that is going on with bleaching your hair, I have done all research possible and bleach can only cause hair loss on the spot if there is a chemical mishap, or if you overuse it which will result in hair feeling gummy and will fall out, however this will grow back in no time, colouring and bleaching do not cause hair loss but can cause dryness, especially bleached, for example I have bleached hair on top to create my homelander look, I go to the salon to get the roots touched up ever 8-10 weeks, this amount of time ensures that the roots have enough time for the follicles to lay flat, also when you have bleached hair try investing in a good hydrating shampoo, conditioner and mask, and a protein repair mask, use the protein repair mask for the first couple weeks once a week after your bleaching or even just a root touch up, aswell as using a repair shampoo and conditioner once a week the same day as the mask, then later in the week use the hydrating set, then right at the end of the week use a detox shampoo, but use one that isn't to stripping, this allows any excess product or dead skin to be removed without making the hair overly dry, then obviously after use a super hydrating conditioner and always leave conditioners in for two mins, and masks for 3-5 mins, or if you want up to 20, a hair mask will stop giving your hair benefits after 20 mins as all of the product will have penetrated the hair, also try investing in a oil to add into your pre styling routine, I use blumaans cloud control as this is jam packed with 100% natural oils and includes castor and coconut oil, remember to use a heat protectant aswell, also pat and gently squeeze dry your hair after showering, also thinning at the temples is the first of many signs of hair loss, however if you recently had a haircut and your temples hair is thinner or out of shape, chances are your barber or styliste didn't realise how much shape on the temples you wanted, this happened with me a month ago and my temple hairs are slowly growing out, temple hairs take up to 6 months to fully grow back and have it's fully natural shape which should be an inch or half an inch behind your eyebrows, I hope this has helped some of you to guide you on your styling and colouring hair quests, I hope you all have a fantastic year, also I been thinking about starting a hair RUclips channel to guide people on there hair journey, let me know your thoughts :)
I take propecia every 3 days. My hair loss is minimal and this holds it back with this reduced dose
I’ve got to admit, I’m almost 30 now and losing hair is far less important to me. I hope this helps
Did u get any problem with gyno or ur libido? I want to try 3 x 1 mg per week too
I want to start first month with 0.5/ 3 times
Ya I’m 25 and almost have bare skin on my crown not fun.
2:22 I actually think dimitri on the left there looks better
Miss your vid"s there amazing. 😢
Are you still on the Propecia? How's it going?
yeah his hair seem thicker and can't even see the thinning area on the front anymore
Is Minoxidil effective against hair loss?
It works if you keep using it.
^^exactly!! If you stay consistent with it in the long run it rlly does make a big difference
I thought you were Zach from the try guys
Can you review watermans grow me shampoo ? Very popular and it seems to do miracles for people reading the reviews online.
My answer is BIG YES.
Really?
Which is your video editor ben
Hi mate, I use premiere pro, though I wouldn't recommend it tbh
Which hair products are good for matte finish?
There are some hair powders that do a great job.
Wax
You scalp has natural wax , hair products destroy it
amazing video you should do a collaboration with Alex Costa
Thanks mate
I'm a 424 viewer, thumbs up 🤙
Ive got a great hairline but I just wear a buzzcut and a beard. Not a bad look!
I've got a shit hairline, a buzzcut and a beard. 👌
krollic I’ve got a receding hairline at 18, and haven’t grown a beard
@@walkermorales337 18 is a bit young to have a beard. If you are concerned about it, you could look into minoxidil. It can be used to thicken up your head hair AND grow a beard
It wont make you bald you'll just accelerate the balding process by 50% every time I use gel lots of hairs fall off an when I dont they live another day
You have good hair. Looks thick
Men with short hair really don’t have to worry about hair damage like women. We only have a few months worth of growth, not trying to keep long hair viable and undamaged for years like women with long hair. The main thing would be to avoid scalp damage.
Hi Ben long time watcher here. Would you be interested in doing a hangouts call on my channel talking about your journey. Let me know please I'd love to do it.
Ben Arthur is just a more handsome hbomberguy
I just looked at his channel, there is somewhat of a resemblance haha
Hey nice video! Looking forward for another hate video! Nice work on those 2k disklikes! 👍😂
Even better work on the 4.5K likes 👍
Is your dad bald?
He's not, however his hairline is quite far back - rather like mine. My grandfather had more hair loss, mine seems to be taking the shape of his haha
Not jumped on the toppik train?
@@BenArthur Hair loss has nothing to do with your father side family. It usually come from your mother side of family, is there any of uncles bald? If your the fourth child in the family, there good chance you will go bald.
@@tommmmmer keep your eye out for tomorrow's video!
@@davidegan7888 That's actually incorrect. It's a myth that it just comes from the mother's side: www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2016/04/29/the-unpredictable-genetics-of-male-pattern-baldness/#388ddf6357a4

Hairspray definitely kills your hair
Women rarely use hairspray. Guys would use hairspray daily if you do blow dry etc etc
There is no evidence hairspray 'kills' hair, as I said in the video. Where did you learn that one from?
Hairspray dries out the hair and makes it brittle. This weakens the hair strand and causes it to break. Equally the hairspray can on to your scalp. This makes it hard for scalp to breathe or stay naturally moisturised. Leads to bad scalp health and so risk of hair falling out.
@@SunnySingh-fd8wn Tell that to the women using it every day for 60+ years
Ben Arthur true but most women don’t use hairspray everyday...only special occasions
