i was watching Upword with Rajarshi Nandy where he mentioned that step one before initiation to Ishta Mantra Japa (beeja mantras ) would be puja done by Guru to initiate disciple and then by dicsiple puruscharana of the mantra have to be done - specific way in stepswhich you activate the mantra - may be 3 to 7 steps , and the way is based entirely on shastras . Is it same with you Nirvikalpa membership or is it different cause it is not basically a shakti path - but Shiva / shakti sadhana ?
