I really relate to what you said about taking the step of faith to start this channel when you were going through an intense sadness. Back in March, I too faced the most difficult event of my life and it drove me to create Christian youtube content on another channel. Creating those videos has really provided me an opportunity to examine myself and what God is teaching me while also sharing those things with others who may need it. You get many more views than me, but know that there are people out there really benefitting from your words and relating to your story. Maybe they're not "great" but they're sincere AND they're in French 😄 What we can say is that the Lord is always in us and with us. Even when we sin. Even if we don't feel close to Him. It's not about what we feel. We're not even supposed to feel His presence. We're supposed to have faith and believe that He is always in us and with us 24 /7. Of course, it's never okay to sin. This is something that I needed to learn so that I would stop looking at porn. Its hard, but thank you God for freeing me from it. It's been one year since I finally stopped my porn addiction.
The comparison trap has really been something I've fallen into lately. I'm 25 and still am waiting on meeting the right guy I want to marry and start a family with. And it's sooooo discouraging seeing my childhood friends getting married and becoming mothers. There are even girls wayyyy younger than me already on their third relationship or getting engaged. It makes me feel like I've missed something, and I know I'm not the only one who's ever felt that way. Thank you for your encouragement. I really needed to hear that today!
Comparison is the thief of joy! God might be doing a work on your future husband to prepare him for you and he might be doing that work in you too! God has perfect timing so there’s a reason for it and you won’t be sorry when you realize why he had you wait! 🙏☺️
This is why being a Christian is so difficult. You will face many challenges when you take the narrow road. The biggest obstacle is your mind because it resists discipline. It's frustrating because the more you try to control your mind, the more irritating it becomes.
