'Self critical thoughts are prideful'? ehhhhhhh.........not really? I would tend to think that ZERO self critical thinking is prideful. By saying that God created flawed, imperfect beings, namely yourself is in and of itself self critical thinking which contradicts the whole idea that it is being prideful. So then are positive thinking thoughts more humble?

lukewarm = mixing law and grace together. you either believe the gospel or you dont and you are trusting in some form of works = filthy rags / dead works that do nothing but take people to hell.. the only way to be saved and have right standing with God is to believe the gospel which is that Christ died for your sins and was raised from the dead, its a free gift lets any man should boast, you cannot earn or lose it, It's the life of Christ in us that testifies we are children of God.

After serving 13 years in the military, and after the infidelity situation with my kids mother. It was God's booming calming voice that stopped me at the door when I opened to find another man in my bed, and kids in the house. I've never listened to any rank above me like I did to that voice telling me " you touch him, you'll lose your kids walk out now." And I obediently did exactly what I was told. Saved my butt as I was slapped with assault charges and whelp due to listening God's command I was saved and thrown on a journey I've enjoyed the lowest of my life in. Church is great for the community aspect tho we don't need pastors and or priest's telling us God's word. Christ Jesus called out the Pharasees for false teachings and hypocrisy.

Most of us who are here, intrigued and curious, to gain more refinement of our knowledge, truth and character, as we turn our gaze, and drawn by the allure of our hearts, minds and soul towards Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. Not all of us are at the same stage in our walk with Jesus, with supernatural guidance by the Holy Spirit, in our growth towards a spiritual relationship with our Heavenly Father. Some just considering where to start ...some asking in prayer where to next, ohh Lord? Not all of us have become perfect in the Lord, and still have areas that are hardened, blocked and areas in need of healing yet - I pray, for the glory of God, that He blesses and heals those areas of our lives, that we may open up our hearts, mind and souls, fully surrendering to His will for what He has planned for our own lives and in others. Also, patience, love and understanding between one another, especially for those who are yet to begin their journey, in Jesus name, amen 🙏 I, like you Gabby, have a testimony to tell, I won’t go into it, we’d be here all week ...though if God wills it, in His perfect timing, which is unique and tailor made for each of us, I will surely testify for His glory. They are lukewarm bcoz they did not receive the 'red pill' (experiences , revelations) like you did , that's why they can't be as excited as you are :) , i have received the 'red pill' as well and i was very excited battling the atheists ..but after few months i realized that my excitement met a giant China wall lol ....without PROOF they won't accept anything , PROOF is their God (and they are very loyal to it ) . Using logic against them didn't work either as they have their 'own' logic and they believe their logic is superior than what God did , they blame and despise God for the way he did everything , saying that they would do a better job . I realise now that it is more about connection with God and purifying oneself more (for me at least)..and God shows me that there is a LOT more to purify self than what i have thought before.

True Humility and Wisdom God granted King Solomon, the great King of Israel, wisdom beyond measure. And because of our faith in Him, God honors us and gives us riches that only come with belonging in Christ Jesus. He blesses us because of His great love. It is through humility and a holy fear of God that we receive His promises of riches, honor, and life. Some of those promises will come to pass on earth, but all of them will be fulfilled when Jesus returns one day. And as we see the fulfillment of God’s promises, our response will be to give God the glory.
