Brutal. Every time I prepare myself for the “last” Ian and Mikey video, I get another one that pops up. And then after watching this one, I tell myself there will be one more…..🤞🤞🤞
I really enjoy the Timeless look of these. Maybe it's just me but I feel like the little pops of colors that they do with every iteration give it a last generation feel as the years go on. Feel like you could have these in the bag for quite a while and have them not look old. Really enjoying the 440 aesthetic.
Ian & Mike, You guys are going to have to get in your fitting van and come to Nova Scotia, I'll be the first to sign up! Bring a full set of Irons 6 to 60 degree, 7, 6,5, hybrid, driver & 4 wood! See ya in the spring.
Great review great clubs here in the UK Ping have great back up and great fitting but they also hold their value better than any other brand so might be going for a bag of 440.
Nice irons. A few months ago I was looking for new irons. I narrowed it down to Ping G430, Mizuno 925 Hot Metal & Pxg Blk Ops. I ended up going with the Blk Ops with Mitsu Mmt shafts & with their Hero discount it was icing on the cake 🍰 They have been great. 👍🏻
I'm playing a similar lofted (very strong) Mizuno JPX HM Pro. After 25 years of playing traditional lofts, this was a hard adjustment. Just looking down creates a mental mess. With a standard shaft length on an 8 iron, it looks so weird to look down and see a 7 iron head. Took a full summer to get used to, but even so it doesn't feel right. Might be going back to standard lofts next go around.
How would you compare these to the I 530s? Both sets have basically the same lofts.. interested to get your opinion on what you would rather fit between those two sets of irons. Thanks!
I really wish they would slow down their swing speed a bit like some of the new channels. 99% of people watching will never get close to these numbers.
Emailed Club Champion Mississauga Jan 20...still no response. Is that par for the course at that fitting centre? It wasn't a hard question...I just wanted to know if they accept American Express My buddy got a work bonus over $1000 but it has to be American Express not sure if it's time sensitive. Any commenters know the answer?
Can you compare these to the mizuno hot metals please, great video guys, these game improvement irons are improving in feel and looks at last. Would love for you to rate the different models?
Wait a sec, who's leaving? I love these guys. I think I can actually trust them. I was actually thinking about flying up there from Texas for a fitting.
These test's always make me curious why more people that are better players dont look into using the 4-iron from this set (or other similar sets) as a driving iron/hybrid replacement.
Old models of irons, driver's, do had great designs, good feels , swinging...too .the weights are good, sweet's spots are large size's....better, in the quality 's, prices...name vintage 's....
I tried to buy my game and bought a set of pings in 1997. I still can't break 90. My grandfather played and could use chopsticks and shoot low 80s. It's not the wand, it's the magician.
I think having Ian do the testing is a little unrealistic in the fact that the weekend golfer who will look at these as an option doesn’t have a grooved swing like Ian in term of tempo and delivery. I don’t think this is a reflection of every day golfer.

I won’t be watching club champion without these two!
exactly, and, go find matt

Gonna miss you guys so much. No one can replace you and I won’t be watching this channel, nor interacting with it after you’re gone.

Ian should bag these for 3-5 rounds and see if his scores improve. it would be an interesting experiment
will miss the guys but 1 thing these look like the old Hogan Edge
player forgiveness irons are so underrated
Going through withdrawals knowing content like this is no longer

I just bought these...arriving next Saturday😊
I have some coming too..unfortunately they will probably be here before we get a decent day to get out🥶🥶🥶☹️☹️☹️
Juan and done? Thanks for coming folks! Just need the qi35 deep dive fitting video

Hi Ian! Just curious. Why do you like the Nippon Modus 120 shaft over the Modus 115 ? Thanks, Joe

The way they describe that ball leaping off the face makes me believe it’s definitely the same technological build as the i530s.
How do they compare to the g730s? I just hear about these and the g430s.

I'm convinced these lads aren't actually leaving.
Where are they going????
is ian's separate channel that's been going for a month not enough proof for you?
These videos were filmed in the past.
@marshallw4492
I'm yet to see one filmed in the future
Sorry if you mentioned it, did you use the stiff or regular shaft?
Modus 120 stiff but he has a 90mph swing speed with irons.
Mine is closer to 77mph so I would go with AWT regular shafts. 😊
No pga show debrief?

They quit a while ago. Fraser Golf Institute is Ian's new channel.

I don't like the high gloss, prefer all matte finish. Keep my G425's
Hang in there…their next model might not be as shiny😐😐 425s definitely were their best looking ones
This is the last video for Ian and Mikey. Godspeed gents, thanks for the great content. 🫡
That’s what y’all said last video
Why are they leaving?
142 yd PW from juiced lofts. I don't need that. But great irons though perhaps for the higher handicaps
I'd rather eat my own socks than play Ping irons, feel like a brick.
Mikey is letting his weight get out of control. sad to see.
Mind your own damn business! Keep your nasty comments to yourself!
Mine are ordered 7-G then a hybrid
Please compare G425 and G440??????
