I think you’re being a tiny bit unfair. I got my Mac Allister from B&Q the lady that told me I needed to buy oil told me which one I needed which they sold the Briggs & Stratton oil the correct grade for the engine which is a Briggs & Stratton engine in store. I brought that putting the motor together is no problem. Any adult can do this and if they can’t do this then there’s something wrong I think you are making adults out to be silly by suggesting that it’s hard work to put handle on the lawnmower and do a quick check to make sure everything is has it should be putting the oil in is no problem and petrol shouldn’t be a problem because well, it’s putting petrol in the lawnmower if you can’t do that the other the alternative is by the electric one I am very happy with my purchase works brilliantly and the people that B&Q were very helpful letting me know everything I need to buy extra which was the oil and recommending when I told her what size garden I had that this particular model that I brought would be ideal for that task obviously different shops have different quality stuff but mine where I live was very good. Let’s be honest if you buy the damn lawnmower ready put together most people are going to have to loosen the screws on the handle fold the handle back down to get it into the vehicle to take it home.

It’s also looks like the Titan and the Mac Allistair made it the same factory but look identical apart from different colours and different wording same Briggs & Stratton engine even the height adjustment handles identical wheels look identical the moulding of the plastic at the front of the metal cutting bed looks identical, obviously ones self-propelled ones is a push along but I do know both are available in self propelled

Couldn’t agree more, I will say though it depends on the dealer, some do definitely sell machines like this at a great price but some will only sell high end commercial-like machines £500 and over but still atleast they support the product more

The Titan shouldnt be hunting like that. Considering its new with premium fuel, only leaves the carb thats at fault. Surely that should be ok as its new? How would you go about tuning it up?

I've been to a dealer many times... Some times they don't have it in stock so they send it to my house in a box... It makes absolute no difference.. if you can't assemble a mower you shouldn't own one

I don't know, that cobra sounds like it had a lose big end. Knocking like police on a drug raid. The hunting is probably because the engine hasn't warmed up since it started to run better after a few seconds running.

If you can't handle putting the mower together, you can't handle maintenance either. You won't be able to change the oil, air filter, spark plug or sharpen the blade. You should be paying someone to maintain your lawn.
