“Earth is my planet” I love your channel
Foxy is hilarious. I love your dogs and your makeover. Thanks for the inspiration. You’re giving me my mojo back.❤
hey paul, from Philippines here and I can relate to what your doing in your garden. I just love bringing nature close to home! In few months I will have my own place and I can't wait to do what you're doing. Looking forward to more plant vids! Cheers man!
I like the idea of putting the pots in first to see the arrangement THEN seeing what plonts fit those pots. Nice.
Game on my boi! You got the patio ready for everything under the sun. Official like a referee with a whistle. #earthismyplanet
You finally Got a banana Tree! thank you. That Dwarf Cavendish Species is amazing. Hope it treats you well.
You’re welcome. I need to plant some bananas in the yard tbh
@@paulplantu indeed, it would look very good. Get the Gran nain variety if you want Bananas that you buy in stores. Or just get Musa basjoo if you want fast growing and tall ones
The colorway on that cavendish dwarf banana was bonkers
It goes stooooopid
Very cool house. We need an outside house tour. Including stuff like what year it was built, etc.
paul next time living room super vintage decor with new paint colors on the wall with some poppin plants yow!!!!
Looks like a great place for a coffee and chill 😎
Your plants and arrangements are so inspirational! ❤️ Now I’m going to work on my backyard 😁😁
Heck yeah do it!! I got tired of that area looking horrible
I got a lot of Pot and Plants in my garden 🌳🌳🌳🌳💨💨💨💨
Respect.
Southern Indiana is watching.
Just discovered your channel and now I'm a mega fan. My house is situated on a corner lot similar to yours and I have been debating literally for years on what to do. Most of the YT channels I've watched give ridiculously high prices for landscaping (mostly requiring trips to big box stores for pavers, mulch, etc.). You give down to earth somewhat easily accessible ways in which to make a beautiful area that is easy on the pocket book. I also like that you have taken into consideration the insects and animals that are so very important to all our lives in maintaining a habitable planet. My attitude in considering what to plant in my sidewalk yard is that grass feeds no one but needs a lot of babysitting (cutting, watering, feeding, maintaining), but a yard filled with native plants will feed insects, birds and other small animals. Also adding fruiting plants, trees and shrubs can feed my family. Thanks for all you do and I will also place the rallying cry "EARTH IS MY PLANET" in my garden utilizing some of the free bricks and stones I plan to pick up to send a message to others. You are totally awesome!
Paul plantu 🔥
It looks great! I love how your dogs are all up in your business XD
Somebody finally got the background music right! 🎼You don't need holes in pots; cause you just lose water quicker.
I just found your channel and as a dog lover and plant lover I’m there with you! The dogs underfoot the whole time like shadows is so true to their loyalty. Your dog at the croton planting had me rolling😆 he’s like yeah bru ain’t moving go arouuuund 😂. At the shot of fox in the planter I almost lost it! Awesome makeover
Very cool solution for a tiny concret patio. To deal with pop up cold snaps, you might consider adding a freestanding trellis or free pallet half wall between the planters and the wall. Then gather some old quilts or an electric blanket and a tarp to keep the blanket dry and drape them off the wall (secured with clamps) over the plants (use some poles, chairs, or other structure to keep the blankets from crushing the plants while they stay warm during the bad weather. Once the weather passing, pull off the blankets for the instant reveal.
This is the best advice I’ve ever gotten. That’s such a good idea, I could even maybe use a little fire pit in that area too. Thanks so much for the tip!
@@paulplantu lauren from Gatden Answers reminds us not to put plants in heated areas when moving them in from the cold since it might shock them, so ignore my suggestion for an electric blanket.... (non- electric blankets should however be fine.) Consider setting the pots on a scrap carpet remnant to get them off the ground, but pull the rugs when you pull the blankets.
Plantu strikes again!
Yo another solid video and great job my dude. Earth is my planet 🌱 💪🏼
Really enjoying your podcast also getting some ideas for my yard 👍
You also should plant a plumeria tree they have the most pretty flowers in the summer and the will grow into a small tree 🌳
I actually have one potted up in front of the full son banana. I do love the flowers, I didn’t record potting that one up it got too dark outside
@@paulplantu wow I planted one when it was just a small cutting now it is going to be 30 years old in October It is a really nice tree it is a smaller tree though.
I need a earth is my plannnut shirt😅🤣😂😂 this is so inspiring just redid my front yard. Btw I’m around the way in Humble. Definitely subscribing!

DIY pot paint video so that all those pots can match the color scheme you Want…definitely would watch!?
That huge wall needs something like a black metal trailes and some vines

Looks great. I just got a new outdoor space in our backyard and I’m going crazy buying plants. So much fun. But damn it’s so damn hot here in Orlando I’m sweating to death trying to get my new space looking good and tropical 🌴
Thanks as always for the comment!! Yeah it’s too hot mid day to much I’ve been sticking to the morning and evening.
Paul you cumin in clutch with the monday plantu upload😤🥵
I had to homie, this took a while to do and edit but I think it was worth it!
Hey man, I love your channel. I've been watching your videos on your garden and pond to get inspiration for our new home. Just an FYI, I'm big in the houseplant community, wandering jew is a racist term for the plant Tradescantia that we should no longer be using. Just call it Tradescantia or the inch plant! Love the patio.
maybe shade pergola with climbing plants with table area
So beautiful have you ever done an edible landscape?
Paul you MUST PLANT A WASHINGTONIA ROBUSTA it will grow large and look beautiful with it's fan shaped leaves and BTW what editing app do you use?
I’ll look that up, I use Final Cut Pro on a Mac
@@paulplantu thank you a washingtonia robusta is a really cool fan palm that will survive in your area and the freeze I am in southwest Florida so I have pretty much the same zone as you 😀
Agreed, washy’s are legit palm and hardy.
Liked your video, you said the fence guy left the fence lay on the sago but isn't that your fence ?
But dam nice plant pickup bro
Damnnn 🥵 place looks killer.. those planters are so worth the steaall... 💸💸💸
9:48 The cutest lil thing I've seen all daay 😭
Where'd the cola table set go 👀
I still have the Coke table in a little storage are, I may put it inside the house!
Do your garage have any window to put some of your plant when the weather drop ?.
They do, praise god!!
Been forgetting to like your vids 🫣. But likes all around.
Hey Paul I need your opinion I have a screened in pool and I am looking for some plants to put around the screen do you think that the white bird of paradise would be good there? And I have a small island for plants in the middle of the pool what plant would look good there?
It depends on your growing zone and if you plant them in ground. For a tropical look, the bird of paradise would be good, hibiscus for all their flower colors, elephant ears, and small palm trees you could pot up.
@@paulplantu thank you😀
Bro try cloaning cutz for free trees plants etc
I have three Standard poodles and I have only dared to put garden beds into my front yard. The back yard belongs to them! I guess I’ve always been worried they would piss all over the plants and ruin them. So I put everything into containers because the few times I did actually plant something into the ground, it would become the new piss spot and it would die after a while. I want to turn my backyard into a haven, but I’m afraid all of my efforts will go to waste. Do you have that problem with your dogs? Just curious
I’ll try to find a cookie jar that sexy to match THE Paul plantu
Hahahaha, do it!
He jumped in the pot LMFAO 😂
Is that gravel?
how many people do you live with?
You forgot to pull up the weeds growing thru the cement on the patio. One of your clay pots is broken so you don't want to use that one.v
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️
next step some chili plants
I have some in the front yard but that’ll be a good addition.
Yo yo yo, that looks shpectacular but watch it… don’t be planting up your plants with soil all the way to the rim. Leave at least 2 inches so the water can penetrate into the plant and not flow out over the pot. 😍❤️
Thanks for the tip as always! I didn’t pack the soil too hard so most has settled down luckily and isn’t spilling over.
First!
Let's goooo! Thank you so much homie enjoy the vid!
@@paulplantu thanks man! Love from Dallas
I hope those dogs aren't just waiting for you to finish setting the dinner table.
Haha, they did mess up a couple of plants but luckily haven’t gotten into any more!
second?
you rearranging that patio and im just trying to rearrange those guts
Hahahahahahaha! My man.
😱😱😱 I saw some weeds!! Why didn’t he pull those out???
In the plants or in the cracks? Cause I ended up pulling both out. Haha!
Lol cracks but you had some on the edges of the house
@@arnoldoramirez6769 Those flower they're Carlina ruellia so I figured they're cool why pull em out.
Bro, atleast pull the weeds in the cracks.
I did...?
Turn the unused pots upside down as a stand it you get more plants
That’s a great idea!! I will!
Awesome
Love all the plants 🪴
