What a joy to have AI replace a lot of the boring parts of making music. For me making music has always been about finding those nuggets by listening for something cool. Same process with AI music creation but way faster. I'm having a blast right now!
I was never really interested in AI, in any rate. But Suno really became a fun little experimental road into music for me. Just coming up with lyrics, and seeing if the AI can make a song out of it. Really fun, even just as a small hobby with no other outcome than learning stuff.
Somthing that I would love to see and hear is that suno can generate prompt based on input audio files from my favorite songs so that I can replicate the style in future iterations
Interesting how enthusiastic people are about this. For now it is "only" the end coming for many jobs in the creative industry. It also means that young people will abandon any thought about studying music or any kind of arts. These AIs will replace entry level jobs and therefore all opportunities for young artists to make at least some money. Yes, maybe some very creative artists with a lot of "old school" experience might be able to survive, but the well will dry out from the bottom. Further this will kill a very diverse industry consisting out of small enterprises and single artists and concentrate everything in one or two big companies. It's not the end of human art, but the end of professional human art. And the implications of that are vastly dreadful, because the majority of people will just eat what the machines feed them.
People in manufacturing went through the exact same thing due to automation and globalization . Jobs were outsourced to other countries and robots , your jobs are being outsourced to a machine . Welcome to the club . You’re not the first , just the latest . Btw … those manufacturing jobs were far more important to the health of the wests economies than the art jobs . Ya I said it .
@@eddiebrown192 I am not talking about a branch of jobs, but about human arts as a whole. Globalization and some outsourcing hasn't eliminated the need for engineers, doctors, lawyers etc. As an engineer, for instance, you could still stay in your business, maybe learn additional elements, work yourself into another branch of your expertise. And unemployment is at an all - time low in those jobs. But your comment about the "health" of societies shows where you're coming from and that you probably don't understand a thing about the importance of human arts beyond the fiscal meaning. The dripping sarcasm in some comments about musicians losing their already low-paid jobs - well, that's a part of being human I wouldn't mind giving up to AIs.
No, people who still want to study music will do so. Maybe a few less, but what it will more likely do is bring more people into feeling like they have created music. There will always be a market for music made by people and live performances because people feel a connection to artists. Art has already become commoditized before AI. Independent artists will still have the same role they have had. And mainstream professional artists will still be able to build a fanbase with talent and charisma (and marketing). It's also possible that this type of music creation service will make big companies take more risks creatively with music because formulaic music will be able to be made so easily. Very hard to say how this will all pan out. I saw that Stable Audio just came out with version 2.0 and they have a beta feature where you can beatbox into a mic, upload the file and have it generate beats, even baselines, etc. Pretty sick. It's called audio to audio. You can also take an instrument playing a certain loop, upload it and tell it to change out the instrument.
@@eddiebrown192 Outsourcing the manufacturing jobs didn’t serve the manufacturing workers, but the manufacturing companies. Same for the artists: outsourcing to AI won’t serve them, only the music producing companies, and even more the AI companies. And don’t get fooled: engineers and developers are the next ones on the AI’s replacement schedule.
Amazing to see how good AI-generated music can be with Suno AI! The tutorial provides a great overview and makes the technology look incredibly promising.
I was playing around with it last night and it was blowing my mind. I even made a reggaeton song in Spanish and it sounded like a radio hit 😂 scary good
I built this as a vertical video experiment - it came out pretty good! This is not the final release, but it is all artificially generated. I created the lyrics and plugged them into Suno. After almost 100 tries, I got one I liked. The video production involved multiple AI tools: Leonardo AI: Created the base characters Canva: Used for editing and background removal Hedra: Rendered the female character using the audio vocal stem file Gen3: Rendered the keyboard player The full song took 3 days to complete, with character renders and editing taking an additional 2 days. The final video was edited in Da Vinci Resolve. Total project time: 5 days start to finish. there's just no way to do that in 5 days without tools like suno although the song We'll have to go into a DAW to correct a few errors before release I found this the case in most songs produced by suno they're rarely perfect I don't know if I can do that here if not just delete my post there's a link ruclips.net/video/MmDMe6iOtcI/видео.html

@@miguelmolins Well, I consider writing prompts pretty advanced stuff. I just write the lyrics.. but you just inspired my next song, entitled "I'm not at that level yet".
If you were to enter lyrics of old famous public domain songs (like old Church hymns for example) that have very well known melodies, will Suno be influenced by the original song melody or will it create completely new music for those songs?
So I discovered this the other. I am writer and I decided to give it a try and paid for a pro. I wrote four songs and tried to see what it would do and it sounds interesting. I tried them in different genres. I notice it has hallucinations sometimes but this is what I am curious about... What data is it being trained on? I've been looking for an answer because I am curious as they have been tight lipped about it. In any case I think it would be great tool creatives.
So now talent is about writing orders? Some are so happy and proud about their prompting. And they think they're making music. Just wow! This is really scary. And the ones who see this horror (my case) are considered as the crazy ones or the enemies. I never thought "1984" or "Brave new world" would happen this soon!
So I just wanna get this straight. You generated this whole thing on the site? If so that’s amazing. I wouldn’t even try I’d take pieces and align it in my DAW. I’m amazed.
I've been playing with this, for over a week ,for me it is a useful tool, for sketching ideas, the difference, is, I am a musician and singer and have written and produced music, I perform live, this tool is a starting point, there are already tools that do most of this like band in a box. Here is my experience so far, the lyrics generated are cliché and pretty ropey, vocals are autotuned mush, BUT, if you can use a real DAW and are able to replace vocals, they are a reasonable guide, often the vocalisations are not how a singer would phrase, when you try to separate out the stems, is when you notice how mushy it is, so, to sum up, if you actually know what you are doing, very useful tool, otherwise, imho 95% of people will generate rubbish and get all excited.
One year in Developement and u cant Check the difference between Human made or AI its crazy how good it IS now,Not perfect but good for checking your Lyrics and get an inspiration for vocal melodies ! Well done suno 💪✌️i Hope suno will Release a AI only for mastering that would be fckng awesome and helps a lot!! 💪 hint: If u looking for Beatdrums loops etc use the V2 Version of suno ITS much more better then then v3 in creating loops and Drumbeats V3 puts Always instruments on Drums etc !

So many people are hating these new AI tools, I love them. As someone who doesn't have time to learn everything about music, or digital art, or video editing, these have made it more accessible for me to create projects i have always wanted to do. I know many are worried about ai replacement, then find a job where that won't happen. The jobs and positions that are easily replaced are creative and administrative jobs. I work on powerlines for a living and it pays really well and because each job is different in everyway it requires intuitive thought to find a solution for that specific job. You can call me lazy, or unmotivated, but fact is i work 60+ hours a week sometimes. I love my job but due to the time it takes i don't want to use my little free time try to learn niche skills so for people like me AI has done a lot.
Right now Suno is producing a boring static mix. Musically without complex events. For a good production, you would have to re-record it with good musicians and mix and master it correctly. Some of the basic compositions are very good.
It's mind blowing as hell I've gotten it to make some songs that actually sound pretty good and have catchy bits and occasionally some really nice lines. Like one song I got the like "stars shine every night, they don't need to prove their light" maybe I'm being wishy washy but I thought that was a kinda touching line.
I don’t think so, in reality all AI truly does is reflect what we created from our own hearts. The culmination of thousands of years of lives and experiences and creators summoned up in a vast pool of possibilities! Same well.
Tbh ive tried it and auto generated lyrics can be funky so i personally try and write em myself, so i think it can be used for fictional anthems and such

I see it like fanfiction. as long as it's not monetized it won't really replace completely original music and there can still be effort put into it. just like fanfiction it has its place. and like how fanfiction can make you a better writer I think as someone who struggles with pin-pointing exactly how I want the music to sound this could help me learn to connect the idea of how it should sound with specifics. there's a sweet spot between ai creations need to be band and this is the future let's monetize it putting creatives out of a job.

I have no musical ability whatsoever and I just created a song to my wife of 40 years that left her in tears. Bloody hell! There are no words.
How did you create the song? Did you write at least part of the music, or was it all AI?
@@patrickwoods2213 I just wrote out the themes I wanted to include and the style of the song. AI did the rest.
@@maxgreece1Wouldn’t be a lot cooler if you learned to play guitar and sing to your wife - even if it was only a couple of songs?
I say this all the time. Ai is here. We either embrace it or get left behind. I find it so damn cool. It opens up limitless possibilities. Music is music, rice is rice. Someone still have to create it.
Exactly
thanks for the great content, now i understand why Hollywood creators were on strike, this is just scary good....with this quality of music with few clicks and top it off with video to match, this is just going to take over so many jobs...i genuinely shocked by the output.
What a joy to have AI replace a lot of the boring parts of making music. For me making music has always been about finding those nuggets by listening for something cool. Same process with AI music creation but way faster. I'm having a blast right now!
Nobody will listen to your no-effort AI generated garbage
Wow! I am blown away with this.
like its so shitty shit
I was never really interested in AI, in any rate. But Suno really became a fun little experimental road into music for me. Just coming up with lyrics, and seeing if the AI can make a song out of it. Really fun, even just as a small hobby with no other outcome than learning stuff.
Somthing that I would love to see and hear is that suno can generate prompt based on input audio files from my favorite songs so that I can replicate the style in future iterations
That would be great. Honestly, I have a huge list of features I'd love to see
I think the biggest issue with that will be copyright but time will tell
It’s shocking how good that pack man song is 😊
Interesting how enthusiastic people are about this.
@@HellOnToastbrot
Best comment, which perfectly summarizes the situation.

Outsourcing the manufacturing jobs didn’t serve the manufacturing workers, but the manufacturing companies.
Same for the artists: outsourcing to AI won’t serve them, only the music producing companies, and even more the AI companies.
And don’t get fooled: engineers and developers are the next ones on the AI’s replacement schedule.

I've already created a few songs with Suno, and they turned out great. The results have been impressive!
I was playing around with it last night and it was blowing my mind. I even made a reggaeton song in Spanish and it sounded like a radio hit 😂 scary good
Fellow musicians, it’s been a great and fulfilling ride. Nice knowing all of you.
I love how fast our humanity is being stripped from us.
I built this as a vertical video experiment - it came out pretty good! This is not the final release, but it is all artificially generated.
I created the lyrics and plugged them into Suno. After almost 100 tries, I got one I liked. The video production involved multiple AI tools:
Leonardo AI: Created the base characters
Canva: Used for editing and background removal
Hedra: Rendered the female character using the audio vocal stem file
Gen3: Rendered the keyboard player
The full song took 3 days to complete, with character renders and editing taking an additional 2 days.

All the songs were amazing, but that last one was a banger! I never would have thought about combining those genres together, but it was fire!
Haha, I was so stoked on that one
As an artist, this does scare me, but im fully down to embrace this and experiment. This makes bigger projects i always wanted to do a bit easier. If anyone dabbles into multiple talents like me, then this and other ai products could benefit a from these

Speaking about big musicians. Lets think about Michael Jackson. They might feed the AI with his music and then you can create new songs with his voice and style. Just like he never died. Or make his AI voice sing the lyrics from Taylor Swift. 😂

you are not making music, you are writing prompts.
@@miguelmolins Well, I consider writing prompts pretty advanced stuff. I just write the lyrics.. but you just inspired my next song, entitled "I'm not at that level yet".
This tool is so much fun to use!!
If you were to enter lyrics of old famous public domain songs (like old Church hymns for example) that have very well known melodies, will Suno be influenced by the original song melody or will it create completely new music for those songs?
Completely new, in my experience. But just try it yourself! 🙂
I have tired this today and i must say. I'm very impressed and it's one song i can't stop singing 😂

I DONT SEE THAT AS A BAD THING
I just used it to create Gothic Rock, and it did, perfectly. Nearly made me cry because most AI fails to create that kind of music.
I could see this would make a lovely idea factory for making real songs afterwards.
So now talent is about writing orders? Some are so happy and proud about their prompting. And they think they're making music. Just wow! This is really scary. And the ones who see this horror (my case) are considered as the crazy ones or the enemies. I never thought "1984" or "Brave new world" would happen this soon!
Yeah it’s disturbing that they really think they « create » musiv
I absolutely would put that cute puppies metal track in my Spotify playlist.
Nobody will listen to your no-effort AI generated garbage

I love Suno, I use it for the majority of the music on my channel.
Right now Suno is producing a boring static mix. Musically without complex events. For a good production, you would have to re-record it with good musicians and mix and master it correctly. Some of the basic compositions are very good.
Well, anything to save your job
The craziest thing i found is that it actuallyknows what pokemon is at a deeper level
Those songs were not made by humans 😮😮😮 holy shit.. thats amazing 🤩
Say bye to real human talent.😢
Honestly i don t care. Most of talented people end up being hostages of music industry with a huge monopoly on genres.
Goodbye ghost writers and dodgy production companies that use algorithmic singles on repeat
Really listen to music from the 1990s and ask yourself, why didnt anyone tell you that automated music generation has been impressive since 1986.
Now this is great I heard an AI song where its an anime intro partway through it says come to Krusty towers😂😂😂
Hahaaa
This dude is the Gandalph of AI! I love you bro! I love those blues! Yeah! I play it too! FMX!
In this way, we lose the whole idea behind creativity. Music is born within us, not this way.
I don’t think so, in reality all AI truly does is reflect what we created from our own hearts. The culmination of thousands of years of lives and experiences and creators summoned up in a vast pool of possibilities! Same well.
Soon you'll learn that the essence of what is human can be summed up with an algorithm. And soon AI will be better at being human than humans are.

Is there an option to use your own instrumental and have Suno just generate the vocals?
Yeah Suno is awesome, I have used it for my last two AI generated music videos and could not be happier with how the songs Suno makes sound. It gives people like me and others with no musical ability to create something good.
