Summary:
Suno AI just released v3 text to music and it is amazing. This is by far the best ai music generator available. Make custom ai songs from a text prompt. AI vocals that sound real, ai music that is catchy and dynamic, all ai generated. I showcase a variety of different genres that are possible, and give a full Suno v3 tutorial, where I walk through step by step how to use the platform so you can learn how to make a full song with Suno AI. Also how to add more customization to create your own AI songs. Then of course, have to top it all off with an ai music video created using a song from Suno and Kaiber's new audio-reactivity feature for the animations.

As a full-time musician who has previously only had excitement seeing ai development recently, that blues song struck a bit of fear into me haha its unbelievable!
I know exactly what you mean.
You're unemployed, dude. Time to flip burgers.

“I’m the ghost, but I am the one that’s haunted,” is an insanely cool line
I thought he had inserted it manually at first. Yeah that is so good it is creepy.
Thanks! I wrote that line myself actually. After the first verse, the rest of the lyrics were probably 75% written by me.
Are you guys gay?
@@publicaccessradio4354what?
I came down into the comments to say the same! Looove that line!
I'll say this the 19th+ time over the past year:
"Damn, This changes everything..."
LOL, I say similar on nearly a daily basis - 2024 gona have a lot in store and I'm here for it 😃😃
Musicians will try to sue them for sure.
It's depressing and gonna put a lot of people out of work..I wrote four bangers in a morning. Obviously it won't kill live bands and maybe inspire bands for new sounds, but I feel like aliens have taken over and pissed on my talents tbf.
AI, in my opinion, is absolutely awesome when it's working alongside an original creation. For example, a completely original animation with AI music, or a completely original piece of music with an AI album cover. Sure, there's less teamwork due to this, but a dream come true for smaller creators.
Only if you don't have the budget
@@woop6078 Well, yeah, which is why it works best for small creators. Also, companies that want to remove any tedious background work.
Been using Suno for only a week or so now, and it's allowed me to take songs that I wrote years ago. That I never would have guessed I'd get to hear them, come to life.
Plus some are real bangers too. It really changed my opinion on AI, as I used to be pretty iffy on the idea myself
Now I see it like automation and during the factory industry.
@@Prepper003 Congrats! Writing songs from scratch and having the AI figure out how to play it (properly) is such a wondrous feeling.
Same. I was very much against AI, but I'm slowly seeing the advantages of it. It's definitely not all bad.
The thing is people will think you use AI also to make the music. If there is not a filter that clarify what is made by humans and what is not, we are f****d. You can show your creative process as an evidence, but most people still won't give a s### anyway. They'll be at least suspicious about your human musical talent as a composer. We'll be considered the same as the ones who know nothing about making music. This is not good news.
This particular blues song is outstanding. Like an unplugged version of something that would otherwise be a commercial studio release.
That music is stuck in my head...
Suno can make absolute bangers but getting good ai generated lyrics is tough 99.99% is garbage.
What I found to make your songs even more enticing/exciting. Try to add more Background singers through usage of Paranthesis i.e. (BACKGROUND TEXT) as well as plenty of voicings/fillers... such as uh-uh-ohhhh, OH-LALALA, NANANANANA etc. . Also give Suno room to breathe... less lyrics means more room for suno to add creative fills and instrumentals. Sprinkle in 1 or 2 instrumental or Solo fills through [Guitar Solo] or similar as well. Loved your use of extending feature! Also the workflow together with ChatGPT to generate lyrics in the template of Suno is prefered way as well :).
Nice. I do the same thing! It also plays with the meter when you break up a sentence in lines and gives more emotion. I've been repeating phrase as you would do when singing for emphasis. Suno is the bomb.
you can (in theory) also generate an instrumental and then "continue" it with vocals
How do I get the AI to end the song for me like his does?
@@Aj-lj2ti I usually only write [End] or [Outro] in the lyrics box. It's been working well in V3.
Your comment was more instructive than his entire video.
Not only the qide sample of stylings, but the fact that it sings in other languages is crazy too! Imagine where this will be in 6 months or even a year from now!
my native language is pretty obscure, maybe a total of 10 million people speak it, and Suno pronounces it with 99% accuracy, it’s insane
You’ll probably be able to generate a song with a custom ai voice by then.
they going after musicians now 💀💀
music labels are going to have fun
If you learn how to sing, you can just copy the good songs, I should try that but get myself a unique name and do it in secret so no one knows who I am

This is the first time that I've actually been impressed with an ai music generator. This is damn good...
this shit impressed you omg
The best Suno tutorial / review video I've seen so far. The fact you are a musician yourself is so important.
Lol that's very subjective
Cinema didn’t kill theater. Live performances and feeling the true genius of musicians playing live will always attract people. The same way we love seeing athletes in stadium. Witness the magic of talent before your eyes. As AI art with MidJourney or AI music with Suno, no matter what it will never be associated with a form of effort. What’s admirable in Art is the effort it takes to create a masterpiece. Seeing a painter creating a piece from a blank canvas will always feel different than AI generated artworks. Same goes to music. Sure Suno can create pretty catchy songs, and they will certainly be consumed on radio, but ironically I think we’ll go back full circle to an era where live music was the only choice, pre-recordings, and concerts will actually be valued more than anything. Like going to a fancy restaurant vs McDonald’s.
Good post. I think your very right when you say "witness the magic of talent before your eyes" Sady with these big big names I witness the magic of them sucking dollars out of my wallet. Even having a good salary, I find it not justifiable to pay hyper inflated prices. I am blessed with the fact I can sing and I for one love hearing my words come out of Suno. Makes me more creative.
Thanks for the tutorial, man! Glad to have found such a cool thing as your project/channel/website. Pretty cool!
It was such a pleasure meeting you at the Imagine AI live conference. I will be tuning in from now on 🤙🏾
Great meeting you too. The conference was a blast
@@futurepedia_io I’m searching through your videos. I didn’t see a tool that can turn a book into a video or animation. Do you know of any???
In the future they should add a feature that allows you to create a custom voice for the singer. That'll allow people to use the same voice for every song, and build a brand.
oh that is coming for sure. there are other much worse ai that allow you to train your own voice and put autotune on so when Suno does it, it will be crazy good.
Another youtuber (Bob Doyle) showed how to do this using Replay, but it's not as simple as what you wanted.
I'm sure once OAI releases their voice clone this will happen. Clone your voice and sing any song you want.

What’s better of the 2?
@@giftedepic SUNO is much easier for creating complete songs and piecing things together, but vocals will often sound a bit mechanical. UDIO is absolutely mind blowing - musicals, kids singing, spoken word, etc. but it takes many more "random" tries to get something good, and it is very limited when it comes to making longer parts - you basically add 33 seconds before or after the current segment, no specifying where to continue from like SUNO.

So many people are hating these new AI tools, I love them. As someone who doesn't have time to learn everything about music, or digital art, or video editing, these have made it more accessible for me to create projects i have always wanted to do. I know many are worried about ai replacement, then find a job where that won't happen. The jobs and positions that are easily replaced are creative and administrative jobs. I work on powerlines for a living and it pays really well and because each job is different in everyway it requires intuitive thought to find a solution for that specific job. You can call me lazy, or unmotivated, but fact is i work 60+ hours a week sometimes. I love my job but due to the time it takes i don't want to use my little free time try to learn niche skills so for people like me AI has done a lot.

Interesting how enthusiastic people are about this. For now it is "only" the end coming for many jobs in the creative industry. It also means that young people will abandon any thought about studying music or any kind of arts. These AIs will replace entry level jobs and therefore all opportunities for young artists to make at least some money. Yes, maybe some very creative artists with a lot of "old school" experience might be able to survive, but the well will dry out from the bottom. Further this will kill a very diverse industry consisting out of small enterprises and single artists and concentrate everything in one or two big companies. It's not the end of human art, but the end of professional human art. And the implications of that are vastly dreadful, because the majority of people will just eat what the machines feed them.
People in manufacturing went through the exact same thing due to automation and globalization . Jobs were outsourced to other countries and robots , your jobs are being outsourced to a machine . Welcome to the club . You’re not the first , just the latest . Btw … those manufacturing jobs were far more important to the health of the wests economies than the art jobs . Ya I said it .
@@eddiebrown192 I am not talking about a branch of jobs, but about human arts as a whole. Globalization and some outsourcing hasn't eliminated the need for engineers, doctors, lawyers etc. As an engineer, for instance, you could still stay in your business, maybe learn additional elements, work yourself into another branch of your expertise. And unemployment is at an all - time low in those jobs.
But your comment about the "health" of societies shows where you're coming from and that you probably don't understand a thing about the importance of human arts beyond the fiscal meaning. The dripping sarcasm in some comments about musicians losing their already low-paid jobs - well, that's a part of being human I wouldn't mind giving up to AIs.
No, people who still want to study music will do so. Maybe a few less, but what it will more likely do is bring more people into feeling like they have created music. There will always be a market for music made by people and live performances because people feel a connection to artists.
Art has already become commoditized before AI. Independent artists will still have the same role they have had. And mainstream professional artists will still be able to build a fanbase with talent and charisma (and marketing).
It's also possible that this type of music creation service will make big companies take more risks creatively with music because formulaic music will be able to be made so easily.
Very hard to say how this will all pan out.
I saw that Stable Audio just came out with version 2.0 and they have a beta feature where you can beatbox into a mic, upload the file and have it generate beats, even baselines, etc. Pretty sick. It's called audio to audio. You can also take an instrument playing a certain loop, upload it and tell it to change out the instrument.

Best comment, which perfectly summarizes the situation.

Outsourcing the manufacturing jobs didn’t serve the manufacturing workers, but the manufacturing companies.
Same for the artists: outsourcing to AI won’t serve them, only the music producing companies, and even more the AI companies.
And don’t get fooled: engineers and developers are the next ones on the AI’s replacement schedule.

In this way, we lose the whole idea behind creativity. Music is born within us, not this way.
I don’t think so, in reality all AI truly does is reflect what we created from our own hearts. The culmination of thousands of years of lives and experiences and creators summoned up in a vast pool of possibilities! Same well.

I've been looking for something that doesn't have too steep of a learning curve, but that would allow me to maintain a certain level of control. I know, I'm asking a lot. I was an accomplished guitar player for years, and I lost it because of neuropathy (due to diabetes) in my hands. My big regret is that I didn't record more of my songs. I'd like to be able to do that, and to write and record more songs.
Thanks so much for this. I'm gonna give it a try.
If you were to enter lyrics of old famous public domain songs (like old Church hymns for example) that have very well known melodies, will Suno be influenced by the original song melody or will it create completely new music for those songs?
Completely new, in my experience. But just try it yourself! 🙂
Depending on how much of this we actually own, this could be used as a tool for artists that are struggling with writers block. I'm pretty stoked on this.
Great help, thx a lot!

I see it like fanfiction. as long as it's not monetized it won't really replace completely original music and there can still be effort put into it. just like fanfiction it has its place. and like how fanfiction can make you a better writer I think as someone who struggles with pin-pointing exactly how I want the music to sound this could help me learn to connect the idea of how it should sound with specifics.
there's a sweet spot between ai creations need to be band and this is the future let's monetize it putting creatives out of a job.

Woah. V3 is insane. I've created about 10 songs on it and each one is really good. The main issue I see is that there's no control of lead in so some of the renders start right on the first word. But still, this is all very listenable.

I could see this would make a lovely idea factory for making real songs afterwards.

Thanks for the informative video. Is it possible to make songs that are longer than 2 minutes?
Is there an option to generate just clean(raw) acapella (solo voice record) for the song that I could use later with my own arrangement?
Just don't tell me about voice extraction software because it always provides a lot of artifacts and impossible to use at professional production.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is something that would be a great advantage to help give song writers ideas on how to write even better songs. Especially with giving them ideas on how they want both the lyrics and music itself to go.
