The last few episodes Evan has said things that are so damn relevant to my life right now. I’m not a vet, just an American patriot starting my own company for all the same reasons he explained here. It really hits home to listen to two dudes I respect and admire talk about going through the same damn struggles that I am.
Tell your company name boss!
Mike Glover rocks, every time I think America is fucked I hear this and feel like it’s not so bad, thanks
I know. I’m proud of all these dudes. Not even BRCC, Fieldcraft alone but all the guys using various platforms to fight the good fight. Especially guys that have done it.
400million illegal immigrants invaded since 2020. Almost all of america's agencies are bought and paid for, and that's not all! but at least these talk boys can make you feel good with their wet mouth holes clomping.
Same bro
Don’t get comfortable. 😎
Mike Glover is true leadership
🇺🇸❤️
Have to say, this was your guys best pod cast ever! Your chemistry is awesome!
2 American Men that did some amazing things. Thank you Mike and Evan for another killer episode and discussion. Mike Glover your very knowledgeable and thankful you share info and knowledge with us. Evan i order your coffee and its truly amazing. Much thanks from Honolulu. Hawaii.
First time ever listened to Evan on his podcast and not somewhere else.
By the end I was asking myself why can't our country's leadership be like this man?
Thank you so much for talking about cancer & exposure...be lying if I said I'm not a bit nervous after 3 deployments, this conversation has pushed me to get w/ my doc about a screening. God Bless 🙏
Thank you for your sacrifice
God Bless you and your family 🙏😇
This is a great conversation. Full of gems. Thanks guys!
I blew my neck out from whiplash totaling a humvee wearing a helmet. Took almost 10 years to fix it. I woke up the morning before surgery in tears from my shoulder pain. The prosthetic disks were life changing
Bought your book Mike. Great so far. Thankful for your knowledge and your decision to share it brother. Congrats on your successes. You’re doing awesome things man
Mike Glover yes, love him, BRCC keeps making me think I am supporting my enemies.
I am so grateful for Mike and BRCC. Also Jocko, Mike Jones, Jocko, Tim Kennedy, and many others. Thanks for not compromising the truth guys.
Don’t forget Jocko!!
Also Jocko Willink man
@@markusstewart9298read it again.
@@road_king_duderead it again.
I named him twice... You've got to be joking. 🤦
Evan, that spoke in a huge way to me as a new business owner. Every day doing everything I can to succeed and staring at kids that rely on me. There is no quitting. There is no being tired. There are no excuses. Its tough right now but what else do you have? You have to keep going “one step at a time.”
You keep going brother 100% my kids keep me going
I had C6 and c7 done. Lost feeling in my left chest bicep tricep and small part of my back. Same surgery you described. MRI showed needed it right now. Pain was crazy before that. I still have neck problems but I’m back at work grinding away. Im a firefighter of 16 years.
I didn't know this podcast existed until Glover showed up on the scene. Good to hear Evan talking...😁👍
I’ve had 3 fusions Mike, one of which was an ACDF at C5-7, the residual nerve issues might go away, but it might take a long while, up to a couple years even. Remember, the nerve was being impinged for a long time, it takes time for them to heal.
The more painful one was the PLIF, L5-S1, it took longer to heal. That last one was 2015, fast forward to now and I’m 80% pain free. Autumn is the worst, cold and damp is evil, titanium and screws don’t like it. At all.
Good luck, it’s work to recover from.
I evaded fusion at all costs. Glad you’re doing better
BRCC please put chapters in these 🙏
I got a neck injury working for Fedex, A box came down in the back of a trailer when the manager came over to tell me what door to go to next for the next unload. when it came down it had metal parts in it and nailed me right in the back of the head. And then later that day since I couldn't reach the latch to keep the flap inside the trailer up, and locked into place. It came down on me got hit in the head. My neck nerves are still injured to this day, and I feel tingling and numbness down my back and into my hands. And at times my neck gets so tired I can't hold it up properly and I have to lay down and sleep with it supported until the muscles get the strength back.Later on I got a lower back injury.
Can we get a podcast of Mike, Chris Vansant and Tom Satterly? That would be a great one to listen to
Tom Sat said on Shawn Ryan Show that would be his last public discussion of Gothic Serpant. Too painful, too...glamorous
I had the same herniated disc C4-5, from riding a zero turn mower at 46!
For a month I couldn't figure out why my left arm, under my shoulder blade & neck hurt bad!
The only relief was to put my arm over my head.
Once I had the MRI, the Doc asked, how I was even walking?
The next day they went through my throat & put in new disc's & fused it & I woke up ready to play!
No pain & I felt great! Left the that afternoon!
Finally!!! I missed you guys getting together.
Glover with the finger action
Really good episode. It would be great to see more BRCC and FieldCraft kit especially t-shirts and caps etc made ideally in the US or at least not in China.
I am somewhat new to your podcast and I didnt know you had a connection to Kalispell. My family is from Columbia falls. My grandfather lives and still works in Columbia Falls (literally less than a 20 min drive from Kalispell.) If you have a chance to support a local family please stop buy Anderbergs garden on Middle Rd. Hes a tetired forrest service firefighter. We lost my grandma a year ago and he still is tending to the garden. We had her celebration of life in August and the whole ceremony was standing room only. It was absolutely beautiful to see how truly loved she was. Please support his farm, he worked in the forest service for over 40 years and he did it while still running the fruit and vegetable stand and his farm with my grandma, and their 3 boys (my dad and two uncles).
Thank you for dedicated service and your commitment to continue servicing the American people but in different ways.
Now an hour through the pod, haven't hear anything on the hamas Israel conflict yet
Great interview gentlemen.
It is infuriating to me how unaccountable senior leadership is to the utter incompetencies and fuster clucks of our armed services; i.e. withdrawal debacle and the health issues of housing, among countless others.
Been wearing a hardhat for 20 years, 15 years left. Not as heavy as what you guys wore. Still sucks all the same.
Why can't I triple Like this episode? The last 25 minutes should be shared with Everyone!
Guess i woke up 4 hours early for a reason
Haha same bro
Same
Yesssir
Mike is great, but his take on Israel is way off. How are not going to acknowledge 75 years of brutal occupation, the nakba etc. Zionism is the real enemy, unfortunately these guys cannot see that for whatever reason.
dam, i'm 4 days late
Perfect timing for the drive to work
Hearing all these dudes live in Utah makes me even happier I moved here two years ago. Nice to live free for now
Nerve Gliding AKA Nerve Flossing. Good talk about pain in the opening!
I worked as a respiratory therapist (HM2) at MCAGCC 29 palms from 2003-2006.. i saw a bunch of guys comming back from Deps from all our units including 7th Marines, and i began studying why a staff seargent of 16 years would all of a sudden becomming back from a 7-12mo deployment and developing asthma and bronchiolitis (only in the short term i saw in my time there). In 2005 i was told to cease and desist my study by the Army (i was only doing a questionare and doing pre deployment and post deployment pulmonary function test). The "PACT" act fixed some of those issues but too little too late! Some of us saw and coult tell shit was questionable. I later deployed to so iraq & kuwait doing medevacs for 11mo during the 11 draw down... and i developed pneumonia (had it for 4 months, and subsequently asthma and chronic bronchitis). Never smoked and only occasionally drank. "Developing" asthma after having had zero issues as a marine or navy assigned with marines, .. i develop asthma as a 33 yearold O1E doing an army IA... people dont get asthma in their 30s without some serious insult to their body!
BTW, I was never close enough to burn pits...and never spent more than hours in country where I was just picking patients up.. but those Sand storms (one which lasted more than 2 days for us) I'm sure we got more crap in our lungs than we should have!
Can somebody steel man the argument that I should care what Evan haeffer has to say? Haven’t bought, or watched anything to do with him since 2020. It’s not that I’m a reactionary person. I see major flaws and there certain lines men hold that aren’t crossed. This dude fumbled hard and, to my knowledge, never owned it or recovered. Please give me the info.
Btw, love Mike. He’s a national treasure
by the way the missile that hit hospital was iron dome
💯
Evan, gotta pass the ball more when you have a guest of this caliber
Love you guys from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you for sharing Heston
I really want to go hunting and learn the ways but I don't know how to start. For both of u to be in the elite part of the military I really appreciate u really getting down to the real issues us vets face
The VA has a burn pit registry - vets need to get check out medically
Evan y'all should make a super dark blend hi caffeine source coffee and call it "Burn Pits" cause it'll just have you up and not able to sleep great listen while working yall
Or “barracks mold”😂💀
Nerve gliding. Think of a string running thru a straw. It gets caught to the inside of the straw. The gliding back and forth frees it so it can move more easily. All the things you learn when you have a laminectomy.
Squat University dude has great videos on this.
This was 6 days ago, I feel like I am missing a lot of excellent content!!!
Great convo gentleman 🤙
In 2005 at Polk I remember having to paint over the asbestos to seal it.
Black mold is a moisture issue. Lol. Not scrubbing the bathroom with a tooth brush issue. Lol private pile!
Every time I hear some Hamas supporter claim that some random number of thousands of Palestinians have been killed, my response is the same as it was when the same idiots were claiming that we killed millions of Iraqis: "What are their names?"
A complete list of confirmed deaths is published by the Gaza Health Ministry (yes part of the administrative arm of the Hamas Government). Every birth is also registered, and so these deaths can be easily criss referenced with the known population. More to the point, Gaza's published figures have historically been fairly accurate, and in-line with international humanitarian organisations on the ground in Gaza, including the United Nations and Amensty International. Of course, after every major incident there is going to be inaccuracies in reporting, and only after the dust has settled will more precise figures emerge.
Regarding this hospital incident, I believe the "500" killed figure was merely a preliminary figure. The airstrike took place at night after all. The hospital in question is actually a large compound. The carpark was in the center. And is was known that thousands of people were sheltering inside the hospital grounds, since Israel had levelled so many apartment buildings. So it is easily plausible that ~500 people could have been killed, depending on the weapon used. I don't know if there is a more accurate figure to go by.
Regardless, I think the shock and outrage expressed even by the corrupt media, is a reflection of the barbarity of the IDFs actions. The fact that Israel is using 2000lbs bombs to hit hospitals and Refuge Camps in the 21st century is something that we have not seen for a very long time. That coupled with the language being used by Israeli officials which can only be described as demonic has only amplified the outrage.
Even when the US was droning weddings in Afganistan, you never saw this level of disregard for civilian life. One of the worst attacks of the war was the attack on the Kunduz hospital which was being operated by Doctors Without Borders. Some moron got his wires crossed and decided the hospital was being used by militants and ordered a strike by an American gunship. 40 odd people died, but the hospital was not flattened. Israel isn't using missiles to target militants. They are using massive guided bombs to level Gaza's civilian infrastructure, and they hope to destroy as many civilians as they can, knowing that they will never be held to account.
Mind blown. I'm sitting here dealing with the exact same issue with my left hand. 8 years LRS, lots of jumps and heavy rucks. Woke up about 3 years ago and couldn't move my head/neck. A week later when I could function part of my left hand was numb. Still trying to get the VA to deal with it.
Going through the process w/ the VA for the same neck/nerve stuff. It's a slog man, found I have to keep prodding them along. Otherwise ya get lost in the VA sauce.
Israel can defend itself against Hamas and Ukraine can fight its own war. Why don't we focus on our country instead and leave everybody else alone.
Because helping Americans doesn't make you filthy rich like going to war does b
Israel is surrounded by all Muslim countries. Hamases leader made it known that they will invade all non Muslim countries and all will become Muslim or not be on earth anymore!!!
Everytime we try to "improve our country" that requires money (usually from taxes) and if you suggest raising taxes for improving the country a certain political group gets very very angry...
The last thing we need is higher taxes or more taxes, we need less government. People should be responsible for themselves and not rely on government for anything. It's our money and we shouldn't be so willing to hand it over to idiots and crooks.
No , ukraine is small country, russia is a giant empire, israel is a small country, the islamic world wants to swallow it , it’s like America saving little kids from giant monsters.
/////////////
I m a muslim arab by the way .
Finally someone speaking up about these crooks
What is the name of the institute? I just turned 30 this year, no military but i grew up on a horse ranch, adrenaline junkie cliff jumping a lot and i have severe stenosis and partial impingement of c6 nerve root. I really want to look further into this because i want to feel my age... not like im 80
Good shit! 🤙🏻💪🏻
Watching from Israel 🇮🇱 with a perfectly poured cortado. What’s up fellas🎉
Mike really interviewed this guy well
I need a full screening.
Tell Mike to look up BPC-157, it will help him and you can find it online, I can’t explain everything it does here but basically it massively speeds up healing time for muscle/skeletal issues and helps many other things. Doctors can’t prescribe it so you have to buy it as a “research chemical”, I would recommend a company but every time I do people think I’m shilling so just ask if you want to but either way do your research because some companies sell fake shit
I took BP-157/TB-500 after my knee surgery.. I was having a hard time healing.. started with those chems and was almost perfect 5 weeks later
Broke my neck on deployment. Ended up having to have 3 discs replaced with mobi-c devices. I had a “blow out” while doing boardings.
How can two dudes that were enlisted soldiers speak more eloquently and make more sense that most of our ‘leaders?’
Mike did you get the INFLATABLE DISC INSERTS OR TITANIUM DISC?
Mike and Evan talking about chronic health issues goes to show they are no longer military veterans... they are now military senior veterans 😅
Great job!
I had a laminectomy at C7/T1. Procedure was no joke… took a full year to recoup. Still not 100% and never will be again. Take care of your back/spine. Watch out for the Gabapentin they want to put you on too…. That shit will make you crazy.
Nice.
Anyone else have to max out the volume to even hear it?
Wait, you guys got Mike Glover on the podcast? How you get that interview?!?
Even though I did not get to do the cool shitz you guys did. Injuries holding me back I am four days out from my neck surgery i feel that pain. Anyway another great episode. I remember being told as a young private that the issues with leaders in the Army did not span the whole Army anyway that is what they said.
My boyfriend is an army vet - he has severe chemical injuries due to the Qarmat Ali Oil/Water plant in Iraq in 2003/2004 they have fought but still have received no Justice 😢
I love it when he tells us how he really feels 😊
Starting a business, it not for everyone 🤪
Great episode! Curious, what watch is Evan wearing?
Evan you need to look up the Ranch Fairy and Dr Ed Ashby for your arrow set ups. it made a difference on the game I’m hunting
Ive read that during WW2 we had 7 or 9 four star generals. Now we have over 30.
I was working on 18 wheelers and my arm just quit working scar tissue in the collar bone cut the circulation off to my arm completely didn’t even feel I tore my triceps off the bone during that day cuz the nerves were crushed. Gets stem cell wraps around everything you have worked on I haven’t had scar tissue build back up and I’m 5 years out of the surgeries for the tricep, rib resection, pec minor release, and elbow… swear to god I thought I just tweaked my neck and kept working through it for 6 months lmao
Aren't those condenser mics?
Butt naked! 😂😂😂
Man that had me laughing. Nothing worse than being in pain while unprepared and vulnerable 😂😂😂
Y’all really need to work on the audio guys. If I put it on my truck speaker it’s fine, or ear phones, but I can’t hear you if I’m trying to multitask. This podcast is the most quiet podcast by a LOT. You’re millionaires, fix it
1:29. I couldn’t agree more Evan and Mike. Why aren’t the “higher ups” talking and discussing what you guys are? I listen to this podcast and others to get the “street level view of what’s going on”. I would much rather listen to Evan talk about coffee and coffee roasting but I feel like I have to come to podcast to get the real truth. Keep up the good work guy👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The black mold isn’t just a thing for barracks either. Two of my houses (Navy housing) in Hawaii had black mold all throughout the HVAC. Even my fucking dogs had a cough from it, and I had to raise hell just to get someone to come out and check it and clean it out.
what happened with all the controversy with this dude and all the 2A folks? all that's over?
Does anyone else have an issue with audio dropping out?
Mike their faith is more important than any friends, There are several forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, the best known being taqiyya (the Shia name). These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause of Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.
That was an " eye opener". I have no faith in our leadership at all😢.
34:00, call for accountability on the GWOT brass, let's go
Only thing that helped with me with nerve pain was CBD, at much higher doses than what people say. Took away 80% of the pain.
This video is awesome and all but have y'all seen Mikes rolling bowcase
Awesome
@MikeGloverActual what is the watch that you are wearing? ⌚️
Is Evan’s hat for sale anywhere?
Why are they running double cups?
This one was good to
Impingements suck! I have several. Constant nagging pain!
33:50
Its every industry and government
Everyone feels this way. We watch this kind of content to see where the sheepdogs are. The warriors who spent a career of watching over us. We have no idea what to do and more importantly when that is
What we haven’t been told, what hasn’t been made clear to US citizens is that as soon as ww2 ended, ww3 began. It lasted right up to the day that Russia invaded Ukraine most recently. That was the beginning of ww4. The rand corp and trilateral commission haven’t explained that to the less enlightened knuckle dragging great apes. Here’s the thing; each war that has been fought in the interim, since ww2, has been a police action. There’s no winning, only suppression. It’s the same reason we have 860+ military bases all over the world. They are police stations, or fobs. There will be another great powers war, and that will be ww5. It will be called WW3, but it is actually the 5th great powers war. Ww3, as I have explained, was a series of police actions, designed to perpetuate the peace that we won, as well as the global hegemony we garnered, post ww2. Look at how complacent people have become here in America. Because the wars haven’t hit them personally, it’s not a big deal. Yet, they’re the first ones to thank you for your service. And we’re the first ones to feel awkward about it. Also, in the present era, most service member suicides ever, which is what Tom satterly’s organization is about. Ww2 was a war where people understood their direct connection to it even if they didn’t serve. They didn’t spit on troops coming home like after Vietnam. When we entered, we knew what was at stake. But now, everyone is so full of themselves. They want their piece and fuck every body else. Well, that’s not how it works. Why aren’t both of you generals? Why didn’t you have that level of passion to serve this nation? Instead, you wanted to be “businessman”. Good for you. But that’s the root of the problem. All the people that are supposed to be deeply passionate about our nation, those that bled, killed, and did unspeakable things for the country, you all quit. Just like me. It’s a shame, but whereas you all are grasping at straws, my mind is clear. I understand my mistake and I understand how to fix it. It’s about LDRSHIP… it’s about army values and faith in a higher power. It’s about being lifelong learners. It’s about being humble and knowing when you made a mistake, owning that mistake, and correcting your course. That was the ultimate lesson, and for so many that went to the highest levels, or the darkest depths, it’s a thing like, “I gave so much, I deserve more!” You have to let that go. Your country called on you to serve and that service didn’t end when you decided you were owed, in fact, that was when you needed to drink water and drive on to complete the mission, which is to give your life so that others may live, to liberate the oppressed. It’s not for the weak or faint hearted. Remember? The only easy day was yesterday. I mean shit, you got cancer later? Wouldn’t it have been better to go out in a hail of bullets protecting your countrymen? It’s a goddam shame what’s happened to this country but it’s our fault. We’re the Americans who can change it. It’s on us. Don’t worry about the generals and the rich nitwits, they command, we lead. And if their commands are unethical, there’s a process to address that. But we have to stop being a mopey, me first society that points the finger. That pride starts with us. Are you proud to be an American? Do you love your country? Would you rather live somewhere else? Boy, you better act like you love it here. Fake it till you make it if you have to, because this is the best goddam place on earth. We’ve done more for liberties and freedoms and democracy for the common man than any other country ever in the history of man. It’s that simple, and if we fall, all liberal democracy falls behind us.
Wait, Mike wrote a book called “Prepared” that’s available on Amazon?
He must have never mentioned this book to anyone else before in the history of ever.
Real.
We should not be so naive when we sign up and enlist, while we’re in or after we get out. Stop. You signed up to serve. That’s the accountability. You swore an oath to fight, kill and die. Do not feel bad for yourself, me or anyone else for having lived the dream. Go read the NCO manual. Officers command and NCOs lead. Stop. I respect the hell out of you guys, and you’re heroes. Don’t ruin that.
I got a rare eye disease in both eyes do to being a 1391 bulk fueler. There’s additive in jet fuel that is extremely bad for your body
One of these podcasts with a military background should interview average, Joe soldiers, veterans just to show how much we can have fun and be idiots and still get the job done. I know a guy that has a combat wack while he was pulling security on top of a house in Iraq , he was pulling alright. Get like four guys that served together so they could tell there stories and check each other on the facts.
I heard this company went woke and threw their customers under the bus, seems pretty crappy 🤨
Israel and Palestine, same old song and dance decades old, politics, money and power.....nothing changes.
Fuck yes boys.
Your volume is extremely low.😢😢😢😢
