Thank you. I’ve been wanting to play guitar for years. I’m 68 years old now and you’ve taught me more than anyone ever has. Now if I can make my self practice and get my fingers toughened up. I might succeed. I’ve know a lot of chords for years but your strumming lessons have finally given me what I’ve needed for years. Thanks so much! Phillip Hurst, mountains of North Georgia.
It is really nice to learn some background info behind a song. I was excited to hear from you that this song was particularly written for guitar! I am an older beginner (>70) and I do like your lesson on fingerpicking. Thank you!!
@@JamieAndersonMusic yesterday itself I subscribed ...that way you speak and explain is very kind and humble madam ....thank you so much for your videos...God bless you mam🙏
I would love to learn fingerpicking for GOOD KING WENCESLAS. You do a good job for those of us who haven't touched a guitar in 45 years. Very clear instructions.
Thank YOU Jamie for sharing your talents once again 😃👍 I stumbled upon your channel recently (& subscribed)...then recalled stumbling on your live performance at the Eno River Folk Festival a couple years ago! LOVED(!) your twist on “Stairway to Heaven” 🤣 (hopefully the “piper will lead us to reason” soon on that one😉)
i love your contents and videos ma. it is simplified and well articulated. God bless you. i would want a link or a book that could give a full list of chords. how i wish i could have that to help me practise songs and mature to play as you ma. thank you once more
Hi thanks for teaching us the xmas song i asked u to do. Can you tell us about the types ofstrings and the drifference between them. If u already have a vedio then thanks u.
I mention strings in a couple of videos but none where I talk in any detail. I'll put that on my list for future videos. On this guitar I use medium light phosphor bronze from D'Adderio.
Hi Jamie - Love your lessons perfectly pitched (pardon the pun) for my level. One song I have tried to learn (and I'm struggling with the suggested arpeggio although the chord changes are OK) is Kenny Logan's 'Danny's Son'. Any chance of a lesson on this?
I've been playing fingerstyle for year, I'm 68, but I'm not progressing as I should. I subscribed to your channel, bought you a coffee, and I'm I wondering what kind of learning I can get from your channel. Are there lessons or just the free videos you've already made? I like your approach because it seems very clear to me. The best to you.
In looking in the Sweetwater catalog, I think the guitar hanger is a Guitar Keeper Hanger. I bet on the wood base it says “String Swing”? Keep up the good work Jamie! 🤓

You're very welcome. Practice isn't always fun, I know, but the results are great. Keep playing!
Love your blouse, bell sleeves and caged lacing, can't go wrong there!💖

Hi Jami. You played 4/4 in stead 3/4.Is it ok to play beat parptern like this? Thanks
.
It's 3/4. The count is 1 and 2 and 3 and. Think of each string as an eighth note.
Thank you Jamie for another helpful video. Who makes those wall guitar hangers ?
🤔
I bought them at a local place, Steve's Music. You can buy them in a lot of places.
In looking in the Sweetwater catalog, I think the guitar hanger is a Guitar Keeper Hanger. I bet on the wood base it says “String Swing”?
Keep up the good work Jamie!

Wonderful, thank you Jamie, now i know how to play Silent Night and Amazing Grace, Do you have more christian himns? (Fingerpicking please💝)
A few but they're all strumming: ruclips.net/p/PLOQxX1VhvmZxnB_8bAdKKfHGIYl0st1Bs

@@soniaalvarado9823 You're very welcome, Sonia.
Jamie if I am playing this on a baritone ukulele how do I finger pick the A chord with only 4 strings ?
Numbering the strings from the bottom (1 is farthest from your face) it would be 432123
@@JamieAndersonMusic Thankyou so much, I’m off to practice now ♥️
For a D chord the bass note is a 4th string?
This might take a while.
Yes. With practice you'll get it.
🚩Is there a PDF? Am I missing it. Most times when I watch Guitar videos, Guitar is Not close by, either is paper. I'd appreciate it
You have to take a screen shot.
