I'm pretty sure it's right at the transition from By the Way to Scar Tissue where a dude in the audience passes out and falls flat on his face. (On the Slane Castle DVD) Lol
@@TheMcardarelli The funniest thing is that the dude is in total like 3 pixels but I've seen the concert so many times I was bound to notice it eventually
The intro always confused me because it sounded so wrong with either of the instruments isolated, but when together the guitar and bass make it so perfect.
Amazing video Nikola, but may i ask something, how hard/how do you hold your pick so it doesn't fall out of your hand when strumming that fast? It keeps slipping out of mine when playing :(
Thank you! Glad you liked the video. I would probably switch to a thinner pick. I had this issue on a few Radiohead songs where fast tremolo picking is involved and I had to switch picks. I use very thick pick and switching helped. Ps. Did you post this question on Reddit? 😁
@@nikolagugoski Maybe a thinner pick would help, i've been using a dunlop .73 but i'll try a .60 (i believe it's the one you used on the video) and see if it helps! Oh and yes that was me on Reddit lol, lots of tips coming from there too
Well done nikola! Now I’m really thrilled to see u tab some of songs from Slovak era or Sherman era(which are not often tabbed in the net) like walkin on down the road ( a personal favorite of mine)
Nice tabs! By the way, during last tours he always plays the Chorus with barre chords instead of open ones, that he used to play 20 years ago, just in case if anyone intrested
Another excellent lesson nikola love by the way song one of my favs from the chilis love the muting john does on it so funky wanted to learn this one for while so glad you have come out with this at right time and you added the slane castle version too which is 😍👏👌🤟🎸
That's the chord implied not the actual note (E is the 5th of the Am chord). Remember, Flea is also playing his part. The same happens on Otherside and so on.
Got some new shirts and it would be great if you can check them out bit.ly/46H0zVg

Light blue shirt? Absolute icon
It really is amazing how we can all recognize a random dude In the slane concert.

Been watching slane castle for years and never noticed! LOL
The Slane Castle outro is so cool and could be its own song. Thank you for including and teaching it
The intro always confused me because it sounded so wrong with either of the instruments isolated, but when together the guitar and bass make it so perfect.
This slane castle version is a great version to play live
Certified platinum lesson!
Loved that you hinted the Scar Tissue intro at the end
so good!!!!! thank you, really one of my favorite songs by them and super cool of you to do the slane outro that was excellent!!
Do you use reverb and overdrive in the "muting-strings" part?
You're the best when it comes to RHCP tabs!
So, so, cool
Nice one nikola
I through would to start scar tissue😂😂
Was anyone else hoping this was the Hyde Park outro??
I wish you had put it without interruptions.just straight forward.
Anyway thank you.

Really love your tone, especially on this video. Can you tell us your signal chain?
Thank you! I use only Guitar rig 5. No real pedals or amps. I started posting videos on Patreon on how I dial in tones and how I think generally
how do you go about learning songs to transcribe the? they always sound and feel so good!
❤ Can you do scar tissue off the map?
you missed the bending on the 13th fret, that's the variation
I don't think there are bends on the studio version
@@nikolagugoski shit, my bad, I didn't read the "+". great video!! as always!
No problem man. Thanks for watching 🙏
You my good sir, are the MAN 🤘
Nice work bro.I appreciate it ❤
During the verse he plays octaves not just the single note
that's the bass
@@WhoIsSantynope John plays octaves on the D and B string
Why 7 in fifht string is Am!? Should be E.
