    Since I don't have an air fryer, what can I do? Fry with a little bit of oil, or bake it? Thanks.

      Yes, definitely! I recommend baking it at 400F for 17-20 mins, flip half-way through. Also, brush the glaze and broil for another 1-2 mins (it's easy to burn at this time, be careful) Let me know how it turns :)

    We always marinate the meat ( chicken, pork) at least 8hrs to overnight to get the flavor right into the meat.

    Hi what kind of cooking oil is being used in the marinade and the glaze? Just made it w/ avocado oil in marinade and EVOO in glaze. lol. Should I be using neutral like veg oil?
    Also anyone know how many calories are in 1 serving estimated?

      I would use all avocado oil. Olive oil has a flavor.

    What’s the weight of the 4 boneless chicken thighs ? I need to know as the size of the boneless chicken thighs in my supermarket looks way bigger than yours . Thank you for this lovely recipe with all the food hacks included .

      Hi, they're around 1- 1.2 lbs, I think. If you use the bigger than mine, the marinade is still enough for them, although you should cook them for 1-2 mins depending on the size.

    Why would you use the green upper stalk of lemongrass? The flavors are in the white bottom third of the stem.

      I totally agree that fresh lemongrass, especially the upper part is the best. However fresh lemongrass is sometimes unavailable in my area. That's why I use store-bought frozen lemongrass, and that's what I got :(

      Typical youtube clickbait titles…. But I haven’t run into any recipes, on any platform, or in cook books that isn’t complete BS on cooking times… NONE of them consider the time it takes to pull out utensils/bowls/supplies, clean/prep/chop/organize ingredients, cook, plate, THEN clean up afterwards! If I weren’t so lazy I’d write a “reality” cook book that included all that. 😁

      They chopped up and froze a bunch so they don't have to chop every time they're going to make a meal. It is frozen fresh and thawed out as needed.

    I need to save this, as I don't have my air-fry pan yet (1 week) 168 hours later, One eternity later, (2000 hours I guess) plus the marinated time, and cooking time. Somehow this video from 30 minutes became endless time consuming. Misleading title.

      I apologize for any confusion! If you're short on time, you can try marinating for at least 15 minutes, but for the fullest flavor, I recommend 2-hour marinating. Thanks for pointing that out!

      The dish is not too sweet to me, you can adjust the sugar as you like. Honey helps the meat moisture, so I don’t recommend you skipping it. Of course, you can taste and add chili or any spices to your liking ☺️

    Something is weird. Cooked with skin side up. Halfway you turn it skin side down. At the end it is pulled out skin side up?

      Two batches were made. Maybe one batch was recorded from one side and then when almost completed with the second batch the sides were flipped different.

    I hate sugar, honey, molasses, etc on my meat!!! Every time I see a shiny piece of cooked meat, I just ignore it because I know it has something sweet and that's what happened with this recipe also. That's why we have an obesity problem in the world and so many diabetics. Stop the sick abuse of sugar!!!

      I hear you-everyone has different tastes, and not everyone enjoys sweetness in their meat dishes. It's totally okay to skip the sugar or sweeteners in recipes like this if it’s not your thing.       As a Diabetic Type 1 in today’ world all humans have no choice they have to choose foods that is more healthy than harmful
      Including their own Traditional foods
      You should have included alternatives versus original
      I love original recipes from different countries but you should include alternatives for certain ingredients
