Wow! I thought I had seen Iceland but this place is magnificent so beautiful. Loved your images Mads, the patterns in the snow are amazing. It's like watching you on another planet!
I like the last picture. Especially like the Timelapse at the end and how the lower clouds moved across the lower sky while the higher clouds remained still.
Great video Mads. The textures in the snow were amazing. I've never really looked at them before, but will certainly look down a bit more when around snow from now on. Thanks for sharing!!
Beautiful location with a lot to offer. I love the textures of windblown snow and have sought them out here in winter as well. I just purchased your Milky Way tutorial and am looking forward to watching it later this evening.
Light or no light, the image is very strong. I actually like it better than the one in color at 10:31. Beautiful work Mads, as always. Thanks for sharing!
Nice video Mads. I find myself drawn to abstract patterns quite a bit when I’m photographing. Especially when there aren’t any compelling landscape compositions jumping out at me. Snow, sand, rusty metal, old buildings. There’s always something available in the small details of things to focus in on it seems. Maybe not as jaw dropping but enough to draw the eye and make the viewer think.
Yeah exactly the same in Denmark. Most dry and warm summer ever recorded with the least amount of rain. It was rather weird editing the video and sweating at the same time :P
The sky at 4:32 in the vlog looked like it was going to be epic, but it was a pity the light didn't work out the way you were hoping. Despite this it was still an excellent example of using the features of the landscape to maximum effect and I suppose this presents the challenge to go back again in the future Mads. Purchased the Milky Way tutorial and hope to try it out soon, many thanks for the kind offer on the purchase.
Just discovered your channel and i'm loving it! May i ask if you crop your vertical shots in 4:3 on post processing, or it's the original size from the camera?
Great video Mads. Special location ! Really like the picture on 10:22 from your video !!!! I personally leave my wide angle lens more and more in my bag because i don't like the pancake-effect in landscapes and grab my standard lens 24-70mm and my tele 70-200mm ....what are your thoughts about this Mads ?
I am not sure what you mean about the "pancake-effect"? :) I must admit I use my wide-angle the most, but I would feel naked without the two other lenses.
Another superb video, Mads. Especially liked the image at 10.23 where the light was awesome. In these snowy conditions do you require any special filters and how effective is a polariser when shooting these images? Thank you, your work keeps getting better if that is possible.
I actually was waiting expecting with you for the good light, hoping you will manage to grab a very strong picture. Sadly as often in landscape photography it didnt happened ... 😢😢😢
Oh, you poor soul! You went to all that trouble and all you got were several spectacular images. Even worse, you will have to go back again sometime! Since this is the Internet, I will have to state that I am being ironic. Keep “failing” like that and you might get somewhere.

Isn't it fantastic what a creative can see that others take for granted. Great as always.
Yes, it is! With a bit of training :)

Hi Mads another great video and some cracking shots!
I saw what you did there ;) Thanks a lot!
Superb video Mads! Snow has always been a subject that I like to photograph because it changes all the time. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot! And you're most welcome :)

Wonderful video and images Mads. Top class as usual.
Mads, what a treat to watch your videos. The textures you captured were stunning. So pleased to see you scramble before finding the perfect image.
Thanks a lot, Brad! :)
Great video again from an amazing location, love the patterns in the snow!!!

And in regard to windblown snow and the textures. I completely agree. It's very beautiful!
Very chalenging but great results . Your last photo is superbe !
Thanks a lot, Paul!

You're welcome, Oddbjørn and thanks a lot! I can't decide which I prefer but I think I have to go with the texture ;)
I love your work. Your so inspiring. Thank you.
Lovely work Mads...I thought that was a great set of images. :-)
Thanks for sharing from several experiences here. I’m looking forward to traveling
Good luck, Ken! And you're welcome :)

Hi Mads. Another great vlog from a stunning location. Love your work. Thank you for sharing.
You're very welcome, Tim! :)
Amazing location, and some great foreground opportunities with those patterns, would love to shoot there one day.
Yes, it really is impressive - also during summer :)
Beautiful patterns Mads. Oh to be in that snow right now we are having a long heat wave in the UK.
Yeah exactly the same in Denmark. Most dry and warm summer ever recorded with the least amount of rain. It was rather weird editing the video and sweating at the same time :P
Excellent video as always, Mads
Thank you very much, Richard! :)
Ooohhhh is really amazing a beautiful landspace
Thanks a lot, Ariel
Stunning!! 👍
Much appreciated! :)

Thanks a lot for buying it and hope you'll get some great photos! And yes, gotta go back for sure :)
Brilliant and interesting vlog mads. Beautifull images in what looks like a very hostile enviroment but thats the beauty of it
Very hostile was one of the coldest experiences I had in Iceland this winter, but always worth it ;) And thanks a lot :)
Love your videos !!
Thanks a lot! :)
You deserve so many more subs!

Unless it's the drone the normal format is 3:2 out of camera :)
Interesting patterns and textures, did you use a wide angle lens?
Thanks, Richard. Yes I used the 16-35mm

The mountains become smaller .... not so high than seen with the naked eye.

I've never used the polarizer in snow, haven't considered if it's even making an effect. So I'd say no :)
Thanks a lot :)
Like your Chanel Mads 👍
Thanks a lot, John!

Yeah I hoped for more, but I'll probably get another chance some day :)
😍
Spoilt for compositions there Mads. Shame mother nature didn't help out with some decent light.
Keep up the great work buddy.
Thanks a lot, Paul, I will! And yeah too bad.

Haha! Yeah poor me! ;)
