I realize suing is the knee-jerk American way, but throwing money at it won't do a thing. Not everything is about money. It's about education, a will to step in, educate, and a moral sense of behavior towards others. All of which is in decline. People need to take a cold hard look at themselves, their communities, and their obligations towards one another.

I was bullied as a kid in school, worst days of my life and I'll never forget it. There has to be serious punishment for this behavior in school.

    • @Mr.Goodkat
      @Mr.Goodkat 17 дней назад

Serious punishments only serve to satisfy people's ego and lust for payback, truth is only prevention saves lives, schools are incredibly toxic environments where we expect children everyday to achieve levels of self control adults would fall far from and extremely disrespectful and even dehumanising behaviour toward them is common, if we forced any other species into an adverse environment they weren't meant for and this adverse environment lead to adverse behaviour we wouldn't start discussing best ways to hurt the animal for responding negatively to this toxic environment, we wouldn't label a chimp as the issue in such circumstances, there is a reason school shooting's are so much more common than any other place being shot up and why bullying is synonymous with school.

Not the kids own parents? are parent's no longer responsible for protecting their kids and keeping them safe? what about parent's who continuously push their children against their will directly into harms way every single day until it kills them? can you honestly look someone in the eye and tell them that's not what these ones did? do you think he was both going there willingly and showing no signs of distress while doing so? parent's want to be responsible for their kids safety when it means enacting rules, giving punishments etc, anything which puts them in a position of power but when it comes to taking responsibility when things go wrong? they reject it, nothing in it to gain for them.

There needs to be a “Sammy Teusch’s Law” created. A law to enforce the laws, rules, regulations, policies that are currently in place YET IGNORED! Complacency is not an excuse. When administrators and teachers overlook bullies and brutality in schools, children learn it is acceptable!
One only has to read OSHA Standards to understand what is required to keep workers safe from complacency. If these rules are not enforced, people are injured or die.
Similar safety standards must created and enforced for schools. How long do we have to continue hearing about multiple school administrative failures at every level, when children’s physical and mental safety have been compromised?
Did Sammy’s school administrators believe 10 yr old Sammy Teusch would work his bullying problem out all by himself? They certainly didn’t do anything. Did they not consider that suicide might be on Sammy’s list of options for a solution? Schools administrators should be the experts, suicide and school shootings are on the list of how children handle their problem of being bullied.
Sammy’s school and the parents of these bullies owe Sammy an apology and gratitude that he sacrificed himself for their lack of vidulance.
Recently Ethan Crumbley parents were found guilty in a his Michigan school shooting. If only the school administrators and teachers had acted in a timely manner for Ethan Crumbley, because his behavior had been observed for a long period of time!
If only Sammy’s school administrators and teachers had acted in a timely manner for Sammy, because his bullying happened over a long period of time!
Something needs to be done for children that go to school faced with the possibility of being bullied. It could happen to any child. Socialization is a huge part of learning in school.
God bless Sammy, his parents and all who will live in pain from losing him. 😞❤️🙏🏻

hearing about this literally has me crying and in tears. both of my cats are sitting on me right now and one is literally comforting me and licking my tears away. he knows i am upset. bullying should be a criminal offense regardless of age. the kids who were mean to him murdered him. because of their actions...drove this boy to suicide. i know what this boy went through. as i was in his shoes also. from start to finish i was bullied in school. didnt have many friends growing up. alot of my own classmates were mean to me. called me names, some were also physical with me. in my teenage years my parents took my to counseling for depression. i was embarrassed speaking about the bullying to my parents. i held alot in. i would come home from school and they would ask me how was school. i would just always grunt. i did tell my parents in my teenage years that i wanted to die. i wanted to end my life. and they took action immediately and tried to get me some help. i never attemped my life until i tried to take my life in frontt of my mother when i was 18 or 19. i am 38 years old now and the crap i went through as a child still effects me to this day and i still cry over it. i am currently in therapy right now. being bullied as a child will follow you in adultlife and will cause you to have mental problems. if you are a child reading this and you are also a victim of being bullied..seek help. talk to someone. you are not alone. suicide is NOT the answer. if you are a child reading this and you are in school picking on people and bullying people..STOP NOW! because it will wind up screwing someones life up and you could end someones life by your actions!

i understand how you feel. i was bullied pretty much from start to finish and my ordeals when i was younger has led to me in adultlife. people dont realize what bullying will do to someones mental state. to this day i have mental problems over this and currently in therapy right now. i have alot of trust issues. i cannot trust people. it was hard to make friends when i was a child and even to this day its hard for me to make friends because it goes through my mind that everyone is gonna wind up bullying me and so on. if you are bullied at a young age. it will follow you for the rest of your life.

This is so heartbreaking to see those parents mourning the loss of their child. My child was bullied by the same group of kids for 4 years, it only escalates, and they persuade other kids to join in on it. I was at the school every day at recess, and lunch time to make sure she was safe. Some parents are really good about making sure their kids are being fair to others. After a few parents got involved, their kids stopped bullying. However, there were several parents who either never knew because the school never told them, or they didn't care. Those kids were mean until covid hit and we started home schooling. It was the best thing that ever happened for us. One thing I noticed is that most parents didn't even come into the school to see what was going on. They just pull up and their kid gets in the car, the teachers don't say nothing. The other thing is that kids mimic their parents. Kids who bully are sometimes getting bullied at home, or just have parents who are also bullies. So, try to watch what you do in front of your kids, they watch everything you do. Including getting online and saying nasty mean things to people...teach your kids to be better people by being an example. May this poor little boy Rest in Peace!

Such an awful tragedy, I can’t imagine how his family is coping. No parent should have to plan their child’s funeral. I hope those who lead him to this get the punishment they deserve. 💜

This really hit home for me because I was bullied in school. From junior high to senior year. I end up taking the G.E.D to get out of high school. Around the same time this was happening, my family joined a church. Looking back, it was my faith that sustained me. As time went by, I grew up, started working out, lifting weights. I went to college and got my bachelor's degree. If had any advice to give to any young person that is going through that is. Hold on, it does get better. You will always have people talking about you in life. Trying to tear you down. When you get older you learn not to care. May this little boy find the peace in death that he was not given in life.

The problem comes from the fact that the good kids are not allowed to defend themselves from the bullies. If they stand up for their self and fight back, they get into trouble. So the bullies have the greenlight to do exactly as they please , and they know it. They need to let kids fight it out like we used to. When you stand up to the bullies, they stop. The bullies are not gonna stop because you tell them to , you have to show them.
