I am concerned that she says she didn’t receive the funds from the other GoFundme that was raised. I thought the company verified that the people who it was raised for got the money. If someone is stealing it or taking it from her that is wrong.

The people of the internet have said the grandparents need to be taken to the police station and questioned. A drug test performed on the person or people who were there at the time of the exposure. Then the results will show who caused this pain.

But fentanyl is so powerful that if there was maybe residue on the furniture and she someone consumed it, inhaled it, absorbed it that it would be fatal because she is so tiny and that drug can kill a grown adult easily. right, I was picturing one of the young caregivers (not the kid's mom) rubbing a little cocaine or something on her sore teething gums or something, not realizing how tiny the baby is comparatively, and many street drugs have fentanyl in them so they're more addictive. a very tiny amount could kill a 2 year old, like it's crazy how small an amount it is from what I've read

True. I even refused a daycare for my 11 month old, giving up my career progress to be with this one until it’s the right time. Getting ready to work only night time healthcare jobs as I can leave her with her dad who works daytime. What about other women who do not have enough financial support to make this decision?

I was exposed to everything under the sun, and I had the privilege to be with my daughter for the first five years of her life before sending her to school. We can no longer afford to allow life to simply just happen to us, without being prepared financially, our children deserve it. My heart aches for situation like these.

Exactly. How is nobody being arrested or investigated? The fentanyl was in her house. Arrest her and question her. I'm sure if she feels she could go to prison she'd suddenly admit who or where it came from. Obviously people there were using.

Can we get this momma a way to carry her daughter around or an urn placement at a memorial? There are so many special ways to place a person’s ashes; jewelry, stuffed animals, etc. I would happily donate so this mother may honor her daughter’s memory and always carry her with her.

A woman has been robbed of her light and joy, the people who were tasked with caring for her should be charged instead of making a joke of the legal system. The fact they claim they don't know what happened should be enough to prove it is death by negligence. I wish I could give her something nice to put her precious daughters ashes in to keep safe. That's why a lot of kids end up sexually abused. You would think grandmas house would be the safest. But unfortunately g-mas house these days is a bastion of failed adults. You also have to see who is lingering around too.

@garretmorris6237 how could it have been the mom when the mom was at work, and the baby was at another person's house? Fentanyl poisoning happens really fast, especially in small kids and babies. It happened at the house of the dad's family so that's the most likely source

This is the most heartbreaking story I've seen. This mother did everything to make sure her baby had a better life than she had. She was so loving, so caring, and such a good mother. Praying she will find answers and hope.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be a drug addict who is irresponsible. I’ve heard of a child dying from a fentanyl overdose when they were sleeping with an ill parent who had the fentanyl patch on and it accidentally fell off and the baby put it in its mouth. I don’t know this story but it doesn’t necessarily mean the grandmother was a drug addict.
Her daughter was her North Star. You can hear the grief and how lost she is without her. God bless this woman as she regains her strength and sense of purpose. She is brave to be vulnerable and share her story. She's been through so much already. Heartbreaking.

I couldn’t cry for some reason at that part, naturally I’m very emotional. However that line still tore me apart on the inside. I hope she gets justice for this and that the grandparents get what’s coming to them.

My children don't go to my husbands parents house bc not only are they drug addicts, but they have no problem doing drugs in front of and beside kids.

My son was shaken by his biological father while I was working and he passed at 5 months old. I know how you feel! It definitely changed my life, thought process, changed how I view others watching my child, made me appreciate each day way more and realize I need to cherish my daughter and never take t hug Inca for granted. I have 3 granddaughters now and I would protect them with my life. No one is worth risking their health ever! If someone dies drugs, drinks, has big fights, yells, argues, has people coming in and out, has dangerous things sitting around, has never had kids or hasn’t had them in a long time then they won’t be left alone with my kids! So sorry this happened to you! We wish we knew all the bad things others are capable of before we all them to even be around our kids! You have to push forward and look for the good and try to force the thoughts of your baby girl to the back of your mind for a while so you can start to heal and move forward. She would want you to! She knows you would have kept her safe if you were there. Prayers!

I truly believe everyone in his comment section felt her pain I am a mom my daughter is 29 I couldn’t imagine going through this I am been in recovery for eight years I used to be on him on and I know the dangers of fentanyl but to have that around the child who would give her that that is insane they need to go to prison for the rest of their lives but one thing about a murder case it never closes so maybe they’ll find the person that did it in that house sooner than later
