As a female and a Christian, I never considered that scripture in the way you delivered it as it relates to porn. Many don't typically relay women to porn but some of us are addicted. A guy that I've known recently shared that he's interested in me but did mention to me that he does watch porn. This spoke sooo much volume to me!! literally this really spoke to me because as a man of God in Christ my story is identical to yours and now I am just learning all of this and after watching this I will start using these methods and apply them to my life because I thought when I got married that it would leave and in 2020 it got really heavy dropped like a bomb in my marriage so this year is really the first year that I am truly working on it and through faith I will overcome it. It has been hard like hard for years doing it on my own and now I know I can't do this on my own I have been through therapy and counseling and have had help and watched sermons etc now my brain is like putting the pieces together and god is getting my attention like an urgent it's time to overcome it and work.

Sexual addiction is a hard thing to overcome. Not impossible, but it’s a real uphill battle. I am against pornography, not masturbation. Masturbation as a result of pornography feels less fulfilling than Masturbation for the sake of satisfying natural sexual desire.

When I say I woke up hurt, my spirit was dejected. Which was peobably the enemies trick, but God has kept me and I am still faithful to the healing Jesus has provided me. Thank you oh Lord. Those who think porn is a big problem, are usually religious and live with a guilt complex about life in general. They struggle with everything. The vast majority of people are not addicted to porn and it's not a problem. I think those addicted to religion are very problematic, though.

They’re saying that the lust issue leading to porn and masturbation doesn’t go away just because you have a spouse to sleep with. There’s something deeper at the root that needs to be dealt with. That’s the point of this video. An addiction forms to the dopamine release and the behavior is used to deal with the feelings stemming from personal issues instead of actually dealing with the issues themselves.

My point is that just because someone is married, doesn’t mean they are “cured” from their desire to watch porn or masturbate or whatever. Having a sex partner doesn’t cure what is really a self-control issue (which is really a symptom of something even deeper than that). A lot of times, getting married and having a sex partner will put a magnifying glass on the issue because if you don’t deal with it while you’re single, it DOES creep into your marriage, and then you have whatever repercussions come from that.
