How To Change Combination Switch / Headlight, Blinker, Wiper Switch for 2000 Toyota Tacoma First Gen

  • Just my brief tutorial explaining how to replace your combination switch on either side for specifically a 2000 Tacoma but I believe this should work for any first gen Tacoma. (Note: I did forget to mention the plug under the switch which is very easy and intuitive to remove.

    I found out that my 95 isn’t this same set up. All my screws are on the bottom of the column and the steering wheel has to be removed to get to the screws on the dimmer switch.

    I'm just guessing here,, but I guarantee ya this is why my dash lights and rear night time running lights are not turning /coming on!! I will replace it and post a response!

    Good video. When my headlights are on and I push handle forward to switch to high beam nothing happens. But when I pull towards me like to flash high beams they work. So bulbs are good. I wonder if I need a whole new handle.

      Did you end up replacing the handle? I have a similar issue rn
