      Thanks, but it's not a ZX9R... It's only a ZX6R. I haven't developed my skills enough to feel comfortable with a bigger bike. Again thank you for the support and I hope you continue to watch as I grow and learn as a rider.

    The suit fits you perfectly bro and you are wearing the boots the correct way :) I find wearing a sport thong inside the inner suit is super comfortable and stops the leather from making the inner suit wedge up while riding

    I’m 50 years old, and watching and listening to you makes me laugh because I’m recalling how crazy I was at your age. I would never wear that suit riding for hours to a race track. A wise person would tow the bike to the track then put on the gears. You’re young. You think it’s cool. I get it. Riding on the freeway is torture because it’s so boring! It’s just a straight line. LOL By the time you get to the track, you’re already tired.

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  5 лет назад +4

      I was so excited to be there I didn't get tired. The ride back was less exciting, but not too bad either. Of course towing the bike and having a nicer set up is ideal, but I had no other choice that time.

    • @keaponlaffin6737
      @keaponlaffin6737 3 года назад +1

      Not everyone can afford the means to tow a bike to the track. And driving to the track getting you tired? Lol and hours drive is perfectly fine to do, even if you're 50. Maybe you'd need to get into shape, less beers drinking and more miles running?

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  3 года назад

      Exactly my point, towing to the track can get expensive and sometimes we don't want to wait until we have the means to tow our bike to get to the track.

    Hey, quick question :) Is your's Laguna suit with the short leg version? I know that Laguna Seca comes in tall and short legs version. I am 5'7 / 180 lbs. According to the Dainese size chart 52 should fit me perfectly.

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  3 года назад +1

      The one in this video isn't, I just bought a new one in a short version and the fit for me is better. I suggest you go to a physical store to verify fitment including the boots and gloves you plan on using.

    If i have boots which arent dainese, can i wrap them AROUND the suit instead of having them tucked into the suit?

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  3 года назад

      Yes, the majority of the boots go outside the suit, Dainese has those as well but the Axial D1 boots were specifically designed to go inside the suit.

    I’m thinking of getting this suit for an everyday ride... what is your take on it

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  5 лет назад +1

      This suit is amazing and although it might not be your most comfortable option when compared to Kevlar jeans and a leather jacket you could take off when you arrive to your destination, I have worn my suit multiple times for the entire track day and I have zero complaints. And that includes days when it was well over 100 degrees out.
      But the protection and freedom of movement will definitely not be an issue. I recommend the perforated version like I have which will help with the hot summer days and get the best base layer you can afford. I'm looking into getting base layers from VnM sports as I have heard great things about it, hopefully I can do a review soon.

    • @GaragePrints

      I'm sorry my response took so long I honestly thought I had already responded... But I don't recommend buying without at least trying on the suit, Dainese has physical stores that can help you get the perfect size. And they have great sales too so take a look there first before buying used.

      Based on the 168cm your 1pc suit should be a 46Euro 36 USA but there's other measurements that need to be taken into account. Check the size guide at the bottom of the page to give you a better idea of what would work best for you.www.dainese.com/us/en/motorbike/leather-suits/one-piece-suits/laguna-seca-5-1pc-leather-suit-perf.-201513467.html?dwvar_201513467_color=BLACK%2FWHITE&_gl=1*14seq05*_up*MQ..&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7pih3aS-_QIVcyCtBh1jlA2cEAAYASAAEgLUd_D_BwE

      If you can go to a physical store and try on the right size the different sizes that would be ideal. Different brands fit differently so try multiple brands. I'm lucky enough to live relatively close to a Dainse store and the biggest cycle gear and that's how I was able to try on all the different suits. I could also help you get a custom made suit from Mithos

    This suit looks too big for you - it's abit baggy and shouldn't be if you ride at track circuits. Also why do you wear the bottoms outside your boots, they're meant to be tucked inside the boots! ...the zipper would go all the way down if you tucked the trouser bottoms into your boots.

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  5 лет назад +6

      The suit is as fitted as it can be. And those boots were designed to be worn inside those leathers. I think it's Valentino Rossi that wears his boots and leathers this way.

    • @keaponlaffin6737
      @keaponlaffin6737 3 года назад

      Suit fit is completely fine. You can have comfort fit, or race fit. It all depends on how fast the track is and what your intention is.

    • @ZeroX2001

      Dainese suits and boots are designed to be worn like this. You're thinking of Alpinestars boots and suits, where the pants go inside your boot. Watch some motoGP and you'll see.
