I was on my way to DC for a weekend, not one person glared at me the entire time other than the few times at the Airport.
You are just awesome, I always watch your videos and it gives me such inspiration and confidence in wearing my leather gear and boots. I will do the same thing, wear my leather gear and boots when I fly. Whenever I do get a comment is, "where's your harley, man" love your Boots !" Or how long have you been riding" some assume that I ride a motorcycle when they see me in Full leather gear and boots, and some just don't give a crap. But, for the most part no-one even notice or care. One bold step you took Cal, I'm so proud of you, Bro. 😉👍I am more comfortable wearing full leather gear each day .

Right! Fear in wearing leather gear is only in our mind. Most people don't care. Only 2 ocassion, the airport official said to me,"Nice boots sir!" (At one time I'm wearing abilene black shooter boots and the other time, chippewa harness. Pants inside the boots).
Wow..truly awesome..Something I need to .As you say when doing this, taking your public leather wearing a bit further, to another level. that a lot of the self conciousness the nervousness is within you. We are all worried about the reaction of others but in my own experience when I have pushed myself I meet very little negativity. Most ignore you, just watching the faces of the other airport users in your video when you walk through the lounge..almost nothing...I almost always get complemented on my leather jeans when travelling long distance train from London into France. Twice I've been upgraded..no idea why.. I recently wore my leather shirt and jeans out on the street in London with a mate. We went into a pub...no reaction..Well done, looking forward to seeing more of you getting around in your gear..
Wow. I never had a full leather flight, but I traveled once with leather pants and engineer's boots, which in my land was already far ahead. I just saw this outfit in foreign people when I was a teenager in the late 90's. I did it in 2003 as a student and after being a biker.

You are such an inspiration buddy. We have to remember that most guys have a thing for leather and boots, they just don't have the courage to admit and explore their desires. Admittedly, I don't think I could pull it off very well with my old Dad bod. You have taken good care of yourself and deserve the reward of looking so great. I started wearing full gear on a 727 flight back to the Oshkosh fly in in 1967. Left my jacket in the trunk of the rental '66 Cadillac convert, but wore my Vanson jeans and Wescos, with a pullover lace placket buckskin shirt in the 90 degree temps all week at the show. Flew quite a bit, always in full gear, My whole life in leather I found if a guy talked to me in gear they really wanted to be in my gear. In acting as a teen appeared nude on stage, so had no inhibitions wearing leather anywhere, plus, on a plane as on a bike, if there is an accident, you have your second leather skin to help protect
I think it is an amazing experience to travel in full gear! And also practical too, considering its bulky size in the luggage. But I feel myself rather clumsy with boots at the TSA, especially sometimes the boots are tight at the ankle which takes some effort to pull out. I guess one needs to choose a pair of easy-to-travel boots wisely too~
When I used to fly in Europe for weekend events especially on the cheap airlines I always wore FULL LEATHER as that was the heaviest stuff and the cheap airlines have tight baggage weight restrictions. Now I am retired and travel mostly by train to events - I am less likely to travel in gear but often it saves my arms if the I wear my leather pants and tall boots LOL. I really hated flying in the early 2000s after the various suicide bombers had done their (usually failing thing) as the rule was one hand carry cabin bag and I got my laptop and camera in that bag and some regular clothes and then having to take the electronics out at the screening desk and then after the metal detector - going round the corner and having to put my boots through the x-ray machine too. Getting them off and on when there were no seats around was a bit of what the Germans call a "Stiefeltanz" - a boot dance LOL.
Whew! HOT! And kudos for doing it! I vicariously enjoyed the little trip. Wish I were younger and more daring -- but I really don't like attracting attention. I am really more comfortable as the invisible type.
I wore my leather gear home from Gibraltar back in 2015. The best bit? The captain who was waiting in the duty-free line at the checkout was chatting me up, much to the annoyance of my ex lol.
