To accept "growth Metallica" you mean... The fact that more people have come to acknowledge that they have always been a great band is just a matter of definition (mainstream).
James seems to put a little bit more into since elton john said it's one of the most beautifully written songs ever. He said he wasn't only afraid of fan reception, but was even nervous to play it for Lars, Kirk and Jason. It's grown on you old old-heads from hearing it live for the last 30 some years. You can't help but associate it with those concerts now. I'm only an old-head, so I was young teen when the black album came out. To my gen, that album is iconic. We get it, though, because we've been hyper critical of everything that came next and some of it grew on us later on too. Except st anger 😂
A grand? We bought tickets when they first went on sale in 2022 and ours were $200 each. Granted we were on the second level but it was still an awesome time.
Had to rush a bit because they came out 20 minutes late and in Edmonton there is a noise curfew at 11pm. Was a great concert regardless and they sounded great
That's good for you guys! Been a lifelong diehard Metallica fan and really wanted to go. I hope they come back but papa het looks pretty tired these days. Glad you all enjoyed! Scalper prices, amiright?
@@StreetCars1698 I paid $450 per night for early entry VIP. No scalping prices. I got in early. only had to wait 5 minutes in merch line. Got a yellow metallica yeti cup and free drink. There were tickets available for $115 bottom level. You really don’t have to pay a lot to go.
*Glad I didn't go. Since I'm old now, I have been severely disappointed by seeing live bands and artists. Never worth the money.* *All for what? To say: "I sAw tHaT bAnD LiVe..." DurrrRrrrRrrr...* 🥴 *It's like showing everyone pictures of your vacation or your kids. No one cares. LoL!!*
He doesn't care about the fans. He started falling apart ages ago. The whole Napster thing was a clear indicator of Lars' priorities. They make almoat NO money off of song sales. But he is a greedy person.
LoL!! I grew up on 70s and 80s metal. It's about as heavy as 2000s rock. But more intricate drumming and guitar work. Especially the leads. But it CERTAINLY IS weaker than metal of the 2010s and newer.
My wife & I were there friday, fricken amazing, I last seen them the early 90s. Just had to see them 1 more time.
bless you man my phone died before they played this 🙏🏻
This was my 1st show for Metallica
This was a great concert. An awesome song. Cheers! ✌️
💛🖤💛🖤❤️🔥❤️🔥🎸🎸
Thanks for sharing. I had to sell my ticket. 😒
I used to hate this song. Its grown on me. I am old Tallica fan. Pups. Lightning. Took sometime for me to accept mainstream Metallica.

Just out of curiosity how loud was it and how many people in attendance
60k
It was loud...I live on the north side of Edmonton and could hear it 😂
I'm deaf and my friends said it was loud
Show sold out???
Pretty much... 55,000+ in a 60,000 seat stadium... And with a second show on Sunday... Good enough to call it a sold out show.
Hes rushing through nothing else matters... Hetfield sounds like shit... So glad indidnt drop a grand on tickets
it wasn’t bad in person lol. Phones don’t pick up the complete audio, which sucks.
