Thank you for posting this. I was just reviewing a gyroflow stabilized video on a flight with the motion controller. Mine was ruined also! I tried a bunch of different settings but it didn't improve much. Wild zooming, artifacts, and just looked fake frankly. Update: I decided not to give up on the file. I found some settings that 'almost' bring it up to usable quality. Changed from dynamic zoom to static. This made the biggest difference for sure. Noticed the zoom was at 1.3x and I was losing a lot of the field of view, so I increased the FOV to 1.2 which decreased the zoom a bit (on extreme movements some black will show at edges but don't care about those parts of the video). I decreased the smoothness to .018 on all 3 axis so the effect was minimized some more. Finally, I changed lens correction down to 30% to minimize the stretched effect at the edges while still keeping the horizon straight.
Make sure the drone is fully updated. Pre release firmware had an issue with gyro data for both rocksteady and gyroflow (they use the same data to smooth). I was able to fix with a 50hz lowpass in gyroflow but the update also fixed everything without doing that. Gyroflow FTW 💪
Hi, how are you? I wanted to ask you a question. I have a DJI Avata 2, and I’m filming with this configuration: • Stabilization deactivated (RockSteady and HorizonSteady turned off) • Wide Angle Other than that, I always film in Normal or Sport Mode. Brightness, ISO, and all those characteristics I leave on automatic. But when I import the video into Gyroflow, it always tells me that it can’t find the “Lens Profile.” (This happens to me both in the app and on the MacBook. I have already updated the Gyroflow app on both, but it still does the same thing. What can I do?)
Aww, that's too bad about the motion controller, hopefully gets fixed. I'd love to see a gyroflow corrected video in a property to get a better sense of the lens correction. Using this for real estate primarily.
Great demo, just took a lone while to see the comparison with Gyroflow ;) probably better to do smaller segments and switch back and forth, a side by side comparison of similar flight path would be amazing! Gyroflow definitely seems worthwhile, thanks.
That's concerning the footage being messed up by Gyroflow with Motion 3, because ATM it's all I have and i was planning to take ESI Off and try to stabilize on Gyroflow, I'll see what happens...

good to know!
Thanks dude, really helpfull

It seems its just the Easy acro mode that is having trouble. Regular motion controller footage is good
@@KrisLuckPhoto well, except for 180 drift, easy acro is just for fun and has little cinematic value 😜
@@BrandonBeans agree, just uploaded a video on it. Very underwhelming
I have no problems stabilizing avata 2 wide recordings using the motion controller in GyroFlow, so I guess that issues are gone.

That is strange, I havent had this issue, im sorry
I‘m having the same problem…no fix…
Hi, have you found a solution yet? having the same problem "lens profile"

Turns out its only Easy Acro that is giving gyroflow a hard time. Regular motion controller footage works fine
Hi mate I cannot seem to find the avatar 2 Lens profile for my footage any chance you can link a download please ?
Make sure you film in the wide aspect mode with EIS disabled, or else it wont find the profile
You sir are a legend
I cannot find the lens profile for the avata 2 on gyroflow. Which profile did you use?
It automatically does it for me when i import the footage, however sometimes i have to restart gyroflow for it to find the profile
i think the problem is that you didn't disable de EIS, it was happens to me
Gyroflow is better??
Wide mode, and only wide? Not ultra wide or normal for data?
Yes, only wide mode and EIS disabled it will
Capture gyrodata
@@KrisLuckPhotoacro gives gyroflow a problem? 😅😟
Am I missing something here? I am really not noticing a big difference!
They are fairly similar in terms of stabilization but gyroflow also dewarps the horizon so it looks a little more professional in my opinion
5:17 🤣
Edit : Great video! Having a blast with my A2
Use 4:3 or 9:16 ?
4x3 gives you the most flexibility, but i still use 16x9
@@KrisLuckPhoto thankyou
Both look the same to me
❤Video 👍
