4th tip, don’t pop your ultimate until you actually have someone to shoot at in front of you. I see a lot of soldiers waste their ultimates popping them early then turn the corner and no one’s around.
Or while the enemy still have a shield up against someone like rein or sigma

Rocket Jumping AND using blast damage instead of trying to land directs?

For the rocket jump, you can also do it with Bastion, his grenade takes a while to explode so throw it in front of you then jump just as it blows up and it will send you knock you away

So the third tip is aim for the head to do headshots?
It's aimbot. Actually relatively unintuitive to aim when the game removes the need to aim.
During ult. I actually didn't know that.
It is a riskfree bonus when you hit the head. If you shoot above or next to the head it will turn into a bodyshot.
Playing since 2017 and didnt know the 3rd one lol

And they nerf the damage the further you are to the target

The only real tip you need to play soldier it’s to get good also the change they made to bashton was not a nerf it literally made him more powerful at least with the old version you still had to have decent positioning but now bastions can just trample your entire team because he has decent health and the ability to become a turret that can move

Im an idiot. I thought visor actually aimed for crits automatically. I didnt realize they dont. They just do more damage
It sometimes me hasn’t mentioned it already, if you press heal and ult at the time, it cancels the healing animation
I don’t think tip 2 is actually that applicable nowadays, in most situations burst dmg is more important than overtime dmg so you really want to save helix for when a target is 120 health or less to make them explode instead of using your only burst
So it’s better to dmg your target with well aimed shots then burst the rest with helix

Pls tell them to not spray if they cant controll they recoil, i've seen sooooo many soldier that hit 5 or 8 bullets of an entire magazine bcause they hold m1 without thinking

has the last one always been a thing? Never knew.
Day 3 of asking for hanzo
Tip 1: don’t just spam your storm arrow, tap it one by one so you hit head shots more consistently
Tip 2: charge your arrow before climbing up to a high ground so you have a charged arrow the moment you are on the high ground and you can add a sonic if it’s not on cool down
Tip 3: storm arrow can bounce ones so you can get people behind covers
Extra tip: you can cancel your charged arrow with melee without firing and giving your positioning away, stay around covers so you can alway leap back to cover
(Hope these tips helps you and I’m a coach so if you need free coaching you can just say so, I’m just doing it as a hobby)

Soldier is no skill
I used to really like Soldier until they implemented recoil, it feels terrible. It kicks in way too fast and you really have to fight against it to keep it on target. I have no idea how the hell people have such pinpoint accuracy with him. They don't seem to be firing in bursts.
I'm guessing you're on console, because on PC he's way better at range than he used to be. you can now full auto accurately instead of bursting, so his damage output got a nice bump.
@@jeksewnoleeray1020 no, I've always been on PC. Maybe I just never got used to it because I mostly stopped using him after they first added recoil to him in Oct 2020.
It was so busted that he was literally unplayable. You'd hold the mouse button down for less than a second and his gun would shake uncontrollably and fly up in the air. Took them almost 3 days to fix it.
However, after a bit of googling I have discovered that there are scripts people can bind to a macro that eliminate the recoil entirely. So maybe that's why people have such pinpoint accuracy while going full auto.
@@samvimes9510 you can train to counter the recoil since it has a pattern now. It takes time and muscle memory.
@@samvimes9510 Obviously don't script, with a bit of practice the recoil isn't especially hard to control. frankly I think that even with minimal experience adjusting for recoil, his damage output is already better than in OW1, so with practice his damage potential is a lot higher
