Dude, I play this game since 2016. I saw everything grow from there. Studied, trained, etc. But I never saw a brutal masterpiece like this one you've created. You literally benchmarked every popular aim trainer and filtered the best training methods incorporated into overwatch interface. Dude, this is a state of art aim trainer.

I started using this 10-30 minutes a day for the last few days, and noticed a huge improvement on my aim consistency. The fact that it scales in speed seems to train your hand eye and brain to get used to those high speed conditions, so when I jump into a QP game after I've notice a huge difference at normal game speed. My damage output on Sombra has doubled to the point I am beating out other DPS characters. I was doing 2-4 times the damage of widowmakers and Hanzo and beating out other DPS like Genji, S76, even bastion a time or two.
My highest speed is 180% as sombra, and 210% as S76 so far.
I also have more confidence going against characters I was more timid against before using this. It frees up my mind more to figure out other ways to harass the enemy team as Sombra.

I know you're unlikely to hear this Mr Stux since you're probably too busy to read rando YT comments, but years ago I got a coaching session from you, and the thing you said to me stuck in my mind since then. You told me I was very risk averse and wouldn't do well if I became surgeon since I wasn't able to accept responsibility / take risks. Anyway, I didn't became a surgeon, but that advice stuck in my mind, and I still think about it a lot. I think competitive games definitely teach you something about life huh? Well I just wanted to say thanks, you have a very big brain and have gotten very good at communicating your ideas to a lay audience, so I will definitely support you regardless of what games you coach / what you do in the future since your intelligence skill is grandmaster! top 500, even!

After using it a bit, its now my preffered aim trainer, i really really like it!
But i do have some suggestions:
1- Setting to make the jump smaller, to train aiming up close
2- Setting to make cooldowns increase with player speed(or just bundle it with player speed), mainly to train tracer for me, maybe useful for other characters
3- A way to be able to use it with friends(i know this one would be hard to find a way to implement), i generally like to use Aim trainers sometimes to warm up my aim while in queue, but i cant use this one
    Some minor ones:
    - There are some aim trainers that put the bots in the game automatically, i think that for that kind of thing, the less setup, the better
    - I kinda dislike the setting menu, it''s a bit clunky and it takes a bit more mental effort to get to the setting i want then i would want to, and it would only get worse with more settings, i'd suggest a menu in the walls like some aim trainers use
    - Mercy beam and nano option
Thank you for this amazing aim trainer, its way more fun and less frustrating than the other ones!

    • @ioStux
      @ioStux  Год назад +6

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Did you use the latest version? It now has support for up to 3 players and the bots have been completely overhauled, they now spawn automatically and have much more advanced movement AI. Please check it out and let me know what you think! :)

just tried it out for an hour, very nice. I really realized how much my aim was dependent on my movement in the strafe mode turned on, looking forward to improving with practicing using this trainer. thank you. i would like to suggest a indicator of some sort so that i knew when i was traveling in one direction for too long before simply dying, maybe a critical health gasp from damage which heals when direction input is changed. this should be a toggle because i imagine the noise could get annoying but i think it would be good for early steps of training. other notifications would be nice if that seems too complicated, maybe a peripheral color fade that creeps in from the edges and disappears when strafing well

I want to share a trick with you that I've never seen mentioned anywhere else, and it's quite simple. Your brain is incredibly capable at knowing just how much you need to move your mouse to make your crosshair end exactly where you want it to end up, such as on an enemy head. All you have to do is visually focus on the head right before making the move with your mouse.

After 20 minutes of this aim trainer, I switched to my old aim trainer to see my aim states.
My aim increase from ~30% total shot and ~40% headshot to ~50% total shot and ~50% headshot!!!

After trying this for about 30 minutes I have a few suggestions for additions to customize training.
    -Speed reset.
    -Pause speed.
-Option to vary kills needed to increase speed.
    -Maybe extend speed decay timer.
swapping heroes doesn't reset the speed and sometimes at higher speeds I feel like I can't keep up or lose flow state which required me to wait for the speed to drop significantly before continuing. I also thought it would be nice to spend more time at specific speeds so having the option to pause or delay speed increases by x amount of kills would be an awesome addition.
That being said I do enjoy it as is, I just think being able to add a little more customization might increase it's effectiveness in more specific scenarios.

This mode is great. But I would suggest the mode get a custom speed option. I am Zenyatta main and I want to study where to shoot the projectile while on bullet time(speed 50% maybe?). I think automatically increasing speed system is only effective on training hitbox aiming. For most projectile shooters, learning where to aim depending on distance from the target is more required training part than adapting to enemy moving speed. By the way I think this mode is by far the best aim training mode out there.
So I request customizable game speed(Fixed game speed) for this great mode. This one is the best.

I personally recommend combining this with Sereonaids Tryhard FFA (Also a Workshop mode, you can usually find it by searching for "Tryhard"). I personally use DPO for around 15 minutes, and then tryhard FFA for 30 :)

Ohhhh, I could also use this to practice landing sleep darts as Ana!! That’s one I really want to get better at since it’s SUCH a high value skill if I land it. Gonna be below 100% speed for a while on that one, probably, but maybe I’ll finally improve a bit more

This is the best aim trainer I've ever seen in a game, go figure it had to be made by a professional coach and damn good player who really knows the ins and outs of the game and not by some dev who doesn't really understand deeper intricacies. GMs on their own can essentially break through major barriers and even Top 500 players can do some pretty absurd things too.

Do you have an updated video on the different positions heroes play in OW2? I was watching your getting good at OW series and while a lot of it is still applicable today, something’s like positioning have changed - a lot of heroes have been added since then and also a lot of heroes them have been reworked as well, I would love to see something like this so I could learn more about when opponents are out of position without necessarily playing that opposing hero a lot or even facing it a lot

This is really cool. The only thing I noticed, and maybe I just haven't played enough is that the lucio bot will not wall ride but idk if that's something that could even be changed.

good workshop however i would like if the time u had to kill was cut in half (or if that at least were an option) because i managed to reach 265% speed and stayed around 250% and at that point it is just ridiculous i played as genji without bladeing and it was so fast my dashes slowed me down

Awesome tool! I’m definitely going to take advantage of this. What I would like to see from a training game mode like this is the ability to toggle being by nano boosted. I don’t know how the workshop works or how feasible this is, but I personally would like to be able to train with the damage boost and get a feel for ttk’s with different characters.

“plat is filled with new players with good mechanics, and students of the game with bad mechanics.”
I’m tired of having bad mechanics. Hope this trainer will help.

I just tried the trainer for a good 20 mins. It's pretty good, but has some glaring issues at the moment. For example, if I'm doing so poorly that I can't kill an enemy for 2-3 rounds, and then I get a kill super quick on a start of a new round (because bot HP doesn't reset) then I just get rewarded with like 30% speed increase as if I did something insane, and it basically negates my horrible previous rounds. The mode should know if that happened and not reward me for it, but rather keep me in my current speed instead until I show true improvement. Also, i find the speed scales up and down too drastically, not letting you warm up in any particular rhythm. It ended up feeling more like a clown fiesta with enemies going at 300-400% on my screen for 10 mins. I get the concept, but I think the execution is lacking atm.
