True caller is very great. But only with one problem:- sometimes while using the app, it becomes so laggy and glitchy that it feels I'm using a phone with 1 gb Ram even if I'm having realme 6(6gb)

They obviously sell your data, so it's a paid video. That is what it is, regardless of whether it is Chinese or not. The issue is with us, not with the app. We download an app and become so reliant on it that we can't imagine life without it. We want to know who is calling because it gives us a sense of fulfillment. Stop using these types of apps and break the cycle. There's no reason to use these types of apps; none of them are secure. A simple google dialer can tell you if you are receiving spam calls. However, knowing who is calling is an invasion of privacy.

@Gyan Therapy I really hate a feature in true caller that allows others to change your name, a person changed my relative's name in true caller to a slang, due to which my relative whenever made a call to his clients, no one picked, this prank caused him a lot of trouble and defamation. Either true caller should permanently remove this feature or let people turn it off.

If you are not a Truecaller user, the app has a 'suggest name' feature, but that takes many people suggesting the same name over time to change it. We have a filter in the app that should catch any slang, but we understand how this could slip through. If this name is still showing, please contact us immediately so we can help, or direct him to install the app to fix the name, or unlist it completely from our website.

Two years ago I saved a number without writing any name. True caller started to show a name of that number. The owner of that number never used true caller and he used a feature phone. So I investigated and found that one of his friends saved his name on his phone's contact list writing that name. After this I have never used true caller again.

Hey there! The app does not upload contacts to be made public or searchable (we follow Google Play & Apple App Store guidelines, which also prohibit apps that do this). But we do have partners with public directories, and a feature in the app called “Suggest a Name” where people can suggest a name they know to a number that is nameless. Of course, this takes many submissions over time to show up - or the number owner making a profile to overtake the submission. We also have a quick opt-out option for anyone who does not want to be part of Truecaller. That can be found on our website. Hope this helps!

Now days there is no difference whether you installed truecaller or not. Because a lots of your contacts would be definitely install truecaller in their phones. So now it's like a chain cycle where all contacts must be upload in truecaller by someone else.
I am telling truth, recently a spam call come to me and truecaller really help me,........ when my phone was ringing my whole screen become red ........ Really helpfull app❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
