i always love your pacing, its so good. not slow but the chill music and delivery makes it so unstressful to leave videos on in the background, truly exactly how i wanted to watch factorio
I just love the fact that an 80hr factorio player is still an absolute noob!! 😂 I’m at over 4000hrs and still learning something nearly every time I play.
aye a new Sauceman episode and its with Noobs so its relevant to me :O cause im a noob with only 124 hours in the game :D 80 of which was pre space age... i kept booting the game up, playing a bit, being annoyed at myself that i "boxed myself in" which would result in a teardown of the base, didn't want to, gave up... on repeat, I get to Blue Science and thats about it lmao... still happening tbh -_-
If it helps, try to learn what a "main bus" is and work around that concept. It is super common to jury rig everything for red and green science, do a small bit of black/blue, and then go to make a better 'starter' base. For added benefit, try aiming to support 6 full lanes of iron, 6 of copper, 1 or 2 steel lanes, 1 brick, and dedicate 2 lanes of iron and copper just to make green circuits. This can be enough to get you through to the rockets at a reasonable pace.
I had pretty much the same experience. I feel like I've started about 20 times, make it to purple science, then restart. I'm committed to this run I'm on now though..... I think? 😅
Building a main bus into a bot base then train base is how I go about it; if you dont want a crazy amount of science bots can supply almost a whole base by themselves with upgrades 😊
@@raden_red6181 ngl i think my main issue is that i always go to grand at the start and suffer, like i need to look at being more realistic than going "hurdur lets make a bot base even though I only am in Green Science area" lol
Knowing how much you like automation games, there's a game i'd like to put on your radar if it wasn't there already. It's called Oddspark. It's pretty cute and is a mix between classical automation games and Pikmin. The game is still early in development but they keep adding stuff and I personally really like it :D
Who is the noob lol? they all seem to have played a fair bit of factorio before, not 1200 hours but certainly played the game. Good video though, seems like you've got a good friend group going, and you guys even talk age of empires, fkn love that game.
As a noob I'm scared to play Factorio, no matter how many hours of it I've watched
Fear is healthy. Keeps you from disappearing for months on end
Yea I should of stayed afraid now I cant stop playing and its concerning
just dive in the game is really good at drip feeding the new mechanics as you play. disable biters if you want too
Cracktorio, not even once
@@Minotaur-cd9chdo u know how to disable biters after game start? Im 70 hours in my py run and they are starting to get annoying
Hell yeah cat bois we rise
Hell yeah more sauceman factorio with the bros
Hell yeah
hell yeah 👍
@@scottcrow hell yeah
@@SquidCoder you sir, are awesome.
Love this, but definitely miss the into “Welcome back to a race, against time and space”, you made it though!
7:50 Biters definitely seem tougher. They will also sometimes bail out if you lay into a swarm. Really wild to see them run away.

btw making main bus's 2 apart is much easier then what you both suggested
Guys would see this and say hell yeah
The Cat boy army is getting stronger.
I’ve watched over 1,000 hours of Factorio but I’ve only played 600 hours of Factorio. I need to expand the base. Because the base its never finished.
How is it possible that I have 1.4 thousand hours yet still think of myself as a noob
That's life in the factory, baby
Hell yeah!
Hell Yeah!
God I wanna do this so bad
Based music choices
Hell I have 550hrs and still feel like I'm in the tutorial
Hell yeah, more factorio
Yay a new sauceman video
Such content much wow

Also playing with newbie friends. Well. It's hard.

i also have never played factorio. i've watched a lot of videos about it though so i'm curious how well i would do...

1255.7 hours? Beginner!
(this is sarcasm, in case it's not obvious. I only have 1287.9 hours, which is technically more but not meaningfully)
lol 1200 hours
lol dude thinks 1200 hours is a lot xD. Every1 below 10k hours is a noob
So you are a noob with 1200h, ok
1.2k hours is average :p
Nya!!!

80 hours is not a noob
That's highly debatable.
No it’s not debatable
@@brunosales7973 Doing something for 80 hours doesn't necessarily make you good at it, therefore you could easily still be a noob at 80 hours.
Lol

Will no i have like 100 hours which is more than 80 but I’m not a noob at all
