I have no idea why people dislike the move. First the school in which all of these young men transferred to is academically on point. Second the schools that two of them transferred from were less than stellar. Three two of them have run together on the same indoor and outdoor track team since they were 8 or 9 years old and have run similar events qualifying and were All-Americans since that time. Last but not least for those that don't know Ashton has been pretty much the best sprinter in the country at his age group since he was 8 and it didnt matter if he was at the bottom of the bracket he still finished top 8 and if I were a young man I'd want to play on Lebrons high school track team as well (Yes I referenced him as the Lebron of high school track).... Look at it this way you can guarantee that college coaches will show up at the meets to watch them run and talk to them. What coaches need to do is train their kids to show up as well because these young men can only occupy 4 scholarships and the rest are up for grabs.
you seem like you know a lot about this school. Do they offer scholarships? tuition here is upwards of 50,000 a year that's INSANE!!! I know a couple of the boys are Eric Allen's sons.
Kayode Molen trust me I know! I ran the 4x1 and 4x4 many times. Just always killed me how precise we were at 4x1 handoffs and then 4x4 we literally never had a smooth one lol
@@damienlewis7909 Its against the rules in a lot of places but there is always ways around it. People do it here in PA all the time and claim its for academic reasons
Lone Wolf i see what you’re saying, but if you’re having all the fast kids come to your school then you would expect that... For us (Texas) it’s against state rules for you to transfer schools for athletic purposes (I’m not saying that’s what bullis did) so that way there is actual competition for different schools
damien lewis Bullis is in MD not Texas. Kids here go to private schools because competition is better. Kids are constantly transferring for college visibility and preparation. The best kids def transfer and team up in other high school sports (IMG academy, oak hill, monteverde academy)
If ya ever ran track, after running the 400 you tired asf, and what's on your mind is to not drop the baton. This is why transfers in the 4x4 relay is way different than the 4x1s
Find a hill that is a mile or a couple miles and Jog it once every two weeks. for five months. Everything will increase. Your form, your stamina, your breathing and your body adjusting to the amount of energy it needs for the journey. Hills work the whole body but it's not good to do them everyday unless you have conditioned yourself to have small things to do. Training on one hill path is what puts your body weight against you and works your thighs, stride, core all at once. Make sure you eat and drink plenty of water and then rest 2 weeks from hills and you will see your muscles pushing up a notch every week and solidify 2 weeks before you do it again. Your body will get use to it and start to see other things like an 8 hundred as light cake.
Don’t understand why people would not want to see the best athletes all running a record time. If they were not allowed to do that by some political rule we never would have 4 young men doing something special. If you think this was a rigged event go try it yourself, stop your jealousy, and enjoy this accomplishment.
Everyone at Bullis is insanely fast
They cheated.
Ran too fast.
@@imhereforitall9218 you had me in the first half not gonna lie
they’re literally all transfers dude
My friend goes to bullis
just imagine someone ran all 4 laps in around 3.43 now thats insane.
Glywnnis Wells thats exactly the world record
@@rodcristi2746 lmao thats his point

I can't wait to see them run at Penn Relays this year!
Penn relays is the real test for these schools
You are right; especially competing against the Jamaican high schools.
Nope come to texas
Yeah the Jamaican team be cooking
@@savegos leave tx come to penn.
When I walked in that building and saw 3:12 on the clock I almost passed out. Crazy meet
Luke Tompkins that’s nothing in Jamaica calabar ran a 3:03 ( outdoors) cause I watched it live
Why are the handoffs so bad for the 4x4...ALWAYS
Ryan S everybody is tired at the end of the 400 tbh

Ryan S then why tf did you ask lmaooo
Deus Zeus cause I was stating common knowledge lmaoooo. You fucking idiot. I’m saying it sucks how much time is lost in the handoff
Wow incredible guys !
They are going to mess around and run 3:08 outdoor. These high school coaches actually recruit others athletes to come to there school.

Thats the only way we're going to compete with the Jamaicans at penn

All transfers
Dav Dunderwood 🤷🏽♂️what difference does that make? They still have to run the event. Everybody transfers now days for better opportunities

Slow transfers :( could had been at least 3:10
Gabe Suarez shut up you sound dumb
adewale fatoba he is absolutely right though. Their transfers were really bad

So true. Super slow
These boys are FAST.

I was at this meet. Ran a 6.55 in 55m dash. Bullis c team and a team went crazy
Was waiting for this upload
Anyone gonna say how fast Dri archer was. (NFL running back now)
handovers are bad boii
I remember New Bern High. Those boys were fast.
I bet New Bern high had some guys from West Craven high
@@milobryant9636 lol.. Probably. They said that the less talented guys at new bern, would transfer to west craven, i guess to get playing time.
True

@@delan_lan Awesome and no problem.....Nice!!
Holy shit high school
Thought it was a new world record since the record mile is 3:48 but noticed this is only a relay race
You thought somebody ran a 3:12 mile by themself?
Chase Waldschmidt fr that is probably physically impossible, I don’t think anyone has enough stamina to run that fast for a mile
3:43*
Gabe Suarez he’s talking about the indoor record
i was there
Oh yeah yeah
Is the track smaller? Is that why they’re going around twice?
the track is 200m so to do 400m they have to go around twice

they are going to need about a 3:03 to take on Jamaica at Penn's
@@dajosco115 with grown men running on there hs teams.. 😂
wonder what happened outdoors
What city is this school from?
They are a prep school in Maryland.
Ok ty

I was a 47.xx and 1:50.xx runner in hs
10 year record broken!
10 year challenge
Who else was there ☝🏾
I just saw this in the recommended the day after my meet at Georgetown prep... bullis won the meet
Why are you saying transfers?
Because they all transferred into that school to run together. Basically building a super team
It’s basically the warriors of the nba
Nate Churboy all did not transfer in.
It says 4x400 but the first ones were all 800??
It's an indoor track so only 200m I.E 2 laps.

When u already know it , it doesn't really matter
sheeeesh
Bullis buys their athletes.
wow
Well shit Murrieta Mesa from Cali ran 3:10 outdoor ...
Why is it a 4x400 if they ran two laps ?
Indoor tracks is 200m around instead of 400m so they have to run twice around .
My first, first comment
Who cares if they’re transfers?
@UCiEUVSMY8OSpj_h7jKNLDAQ
I care.
At my school, I eliminated all the transfers.
Guess i have to do the same to this school :)
