345 Hemi Engine Bottom Rotating Assembly For 5.7L 2006-2010 Dodge Charger RT

Hey Guys!! Part 1 of the Hemi build series mostly covers rotating assembly in your 2006-2010 Dodge Chargers! We went with an upgraded cam on our 5.7l. I go through some details for crankshaft, cam shaft, pistons, connecting rods and piston rings covering the complete engine bottom rotating assembly. I know it's been a while since videos have rolled out. This video covers some of that information and is the start to the 5.7L 345 Hemi build series. As this video is missing some good components please check out my other video on ring end gap where I use a piston ring filer and feeler gauge to get my piston rings just right.

Bought my son his first car - 2010 Charger - noticed the tick after a day along with shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Took to mechanic and yup needed a rocker assembly and I about flipped. Got another car as the cost to repair was more than the car itself. Turns out this is the most common issue with this car so going to stay away from them. Good work on the engine and looking forward to final startup.

Where does that ring goes to that you tested around the camshaft saying what I have to watch for like what the name of those rings also

Those are the camshaft bearings. They get put into the block and then you put the cam in.
