We named him Pebble, is a male English Setter who probably got abandoned and ended up injured on the bottom of an empty pool . He has a microchip number but unfortunately is not registered and that means we can't find an owner. We publish his pictures via social media, we informed the police but no one was looking for him so we believe someone abandoned him.
He is sick with a Mediterranean disease and already under treatment.
Has a very sweet nature and we love him already!

I just found your channel this morning. The courage and dedication that it takes to approach an injured dog and attempt to lift it is like something I have never seen before. When I saw this poor baby allow you to pick it up I started to cry I was so grateful. I've seen so many of these channels that are obvious fakes in an attempt to fool people just to get views and they are abusing the animals selves. Just see something as real and genuine as this warmed my heart. You are such a tiny little thing but your spirit gives you enormous strength. Greece is so beautiful it's sad to see the suffering of these animals but to be fair that happens everywhere. If you were my children I would be proud beyond words and consider myself blessed to have brought you into this world. Sending you blessings, peace and comfort in all of your travels.

You should find out what Takis, and I believed the Jutta Shelter, both in Crete, uses for fleas & ticks.. they just come right off after a bit.. it's amazing.. I would like to know too if I ever need it...

I hope and pray to God that humans treat animals with kindness, love, compassion and empathy. They are weak, helpless, defenseless, and innocent. Please be their voice and speak out against animal cruelty and abuse. Report any such incidents to authorities to be dealt with by the law.

That looks like the kind of dogs I’ve had all my life. That country doesn’t deserve those beautiful animals. What an utter disgrace some of those people in Greece AND EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD are the way they torture and abandon and abuse these poor helpless creatures. The country is not the problem, the people are. Humans are the ones who abuse animals and unfortunately these crimes happen all over the world. Also, you don't know what nationality 'man' tortured this angel. Because it happened in Greece, we cannot be sure that the one who abused the dog was Greek.
@@M.AREA.X.EL-LAS This whole channel is about all the cruel abuse that happens in this country. And a lot of the dogs are English Settlers, a very sensitive, kind , gentle dog. Many of them are abandoned by hunters who live in that country, most likely Greek. There is animal cruelty in every country, obviously, but I mentioned Greece because that’s where this channel is from and I am sad to see a dog I was raised loving, be left to die a horrible death.
And it happens all the time there. I’m more interested in comments that defend the dogs that are suffering than ones that are offended because the focus is on the perpetrators of abuse.

As for the hunters, you are wrong again, I live in Crete, and most hunters do not injure stray animals, let alone that there are many hunters of other origins. So whether a Greek did this crime to this angel, or a foreigner, he is a bastard and should not be called a man.

As always thank you for your outstanding care, poor baby was starving plus that huge wound on his or her head, such a gorgeous sweet dog, guessing he or she belonged to a hunter, they use, abuse and lose their dogs, shameful! So beautiful there are people that love, rescue and aid these victims!!

Ermioni you are doing a great job with these dogs (and cats) - now if the whole world would do the same - and properly take care of their pets - and ferals. THEN start taking care of the DOGS of HUMANITY - the homeless, the unfits, and the misfits - then the world will be so much better for it.
I don't like humans as much as I like dogs. I find humans very difficult to deal with. Dogs are easier.
@@kellysouter4381 Sounds like you are part of the problem. As my grandfather said, "it takes 2 to make an argument - now who gets punished first." The argument then goes to political and financial controls by govt - that then overtaxes the working (and retired and handicapped) population to take care of these people with worthless socialist programs - whereas the state-nations should take care of their own populations as it was done in colonial days.

I think he was hit on the head and thrown in. No healthy, seeing dog would fall into that empty pool. Maybe it wasn't empty at that time, but the water ran off or the heat made the pool dry up.
In any case, I think a nasty notreallyhuman is responsible for his injuries!

Não é só na Grécia. Vivo no Brasil e tambem temos estes problemas . Aqui já existem leis contra maus tratos dos animais mas é um trabalho difícil. Sempre tem algum protetor com ajuda da polícia..

I imagine this special dog tried as she might to get out, beautiful creature. You are just an angel helping these animals. You are all angels, the vet, the people there and my the new baby kitten, so so precious.
