We named her Hope and she was found in a village. She got saved by a miracle after weeks in the hospital and a very difficult surgery.
It is not the first injured dog we find because of the illegal traps that humans place around the villages for wild pigs . No witness, no information about that crime ever came even though we publish it and ask people and even though we go to the police every time.
The dog had no microchip .
The number of the stray animals in our area is endless, we try to help those that need help, to neuter, to feed ,to rehome as many as we can but unfortunately we don't have enough place to keep them all under our care ..

What a terrible neck injury! The man who made it & placed it for an unsuspecting animal is a true barbarian. Hope is lucky to have been found, operated on by Rania and fostered by a kind man. Ermioni is always there for these unfortunate animals that cross paths with monsters!

The dog obviously did not have a good life before she was rescued. But, at least she looked as though someone fed her. Poor thing. Thank you for rescuing her. It seems stray dogs and cats are a problem worldwide. I wish we could help them all more.

Dogs are so trusting, @9:45 the look in Hope's eyes as the vet takes out the stiches, is so trusting, and this despite what humans have already done to her, I think dogs can teach us a thing or 2 about not being prejudice ands treating everyone as an individual, like Hope knows that not every human is going to want to hurt her.
There're no good enough words to thank Ermioni and the doctor plus everybody else involved in all the rescued including this one. Just amazing, wonderful people.

This is so heartbreaking. I have seen similar things happen all too often when people left collars on puppies and halters on young horses, as they grew, and never bothered to adjust them accordingly. This one was far worse. As a former veterinary assistant I've helped do the same kind of surgeries on those poor animals. Something about this dog really touched me. If I didn't live half a world away, and had adequate resources, I'd be first in line to give her a wonderful home. I so hope she has found such a home there.

She must have broken her teeth on that horrible wire noose. Only God protected her jugular vein, so visible under the vet’s fingers. You picked a perfect name for this one, Ermioni. Great thanks are due for everyone who helped Hope survive this terrible injury. 🙏🏻💜🇺🇸

It is a miracle this dog lived with such a deep nasty wound on her neck. God bless the man who found her. God bless the Vets who worked on her and made it possible to live . The name Hope is fitting for this beautiful dog. When she got to the yard she was very frightened and just wanted to run and hide. Thank you all for another job well done
As there are people who represent the worst in humanity, like the person who placed the snare, there are those like Ermioni who represent the best. I never cease to be amazed when I see how animals in need respond to her touch. She is one of those souls whose touch and words inspire confidence not only in animals but in people too. Thank You for rescuing this beautiful dog, he or she had a severely embedded collar and that is a horrific wound she is blessed that man cut it and you and the vet are helping, I think that had to be so painful hence she got the other part disconnected, unbelievable! What an amazing surgery, wow. She seems a bit sad I hope in time she cheers up I'm sure a foster home will be a comfort God knows what her previous owner did to her although I saw a happy tail when she was in the yard, cool!!

Yes, it is a great travesty that this poor innocent dog was abandoned by a heartless and cruel woman. May the spirits of all animals haunt this woman until she is driven to madness. It is so uplifting to know that Beni is responding to ministrations by the veterinarians. I fervently hope that Beni will be adopted by a loving ❤forever family❤, who will provide Beni with affection and all due sustenance throughout his lifetime. Thank you, Ermioni.

EL psichopata que repitio con el mismo alambre a un perrito. Esta en la pierna de adelante, FUE demasiado tarde se infecto y Ermione y equipo veterinarian debieron amputar la pierna, El perrito esta bien pero una amputation frontal es siempre mas DIFICIL y cansadora.. Un sadico peligroso y ESTOY seguro alguien sabe quien es. No es una ciudad grande. Mira video del perrito con el alambre en la pierna amarrado para torturarlo lentamente.

Outra coisa: vc além de ser uma pessoa incrível, humana, que tem esse amor tão puro pelos animais (principalmente pelos cães), também é Encantadora de Cães! Sempre que vc vai socorrer um anjo desses, se abaixa, olha em seus olhos e estende as mãos para eles, passando confiança.

Even though the dog had been badly injured by human's trap, she still trusted people. Thank Ermioni and all the helpers. Without their help, the dog would have died.

As I watch you and your Veterinarian go up and down that spiral staircase, I always think how difficult that must be, and rather dangerous with especially heavy animals. I hope you're always safe on that staircase. It would be great if they could build a straight staircase, but everything is money.

I cried when I saw this😭 poor dog but thank God he is saved by you maam. God sent you there to save this poor brave dog. Glad here the dog is getting better with all the meds and surgery performed to save his life...God bless you with abundance and all..God please save this dog and give him the best of his remaining days - be loved and cared unconditionally 🙏🥰🥹
