His name is Maximos. As we found out from people who live in the village, the dog was abandoned there about two years ago. The winter in that village is heavy and no one knew to tell us how this dog survived. He was not approaching anyone, he was afraid of everyone and the way he got inside that yard was just unbelievable.
When we arrived, he was just standing there and allowed us to take him. We have him under our care and he already trust us and sometimes I think he smiles on us 😊.
Our goal now is to find a forever home for him...

To me, when a dog/cat is that calm while being injured and being rescued… they’re truly hurting. Spiritually and physically. The heart break I got from the beginning of this video made out for a good ending. Thank you for saving these babies 🐾❤️
You are so right. They are scared & do not know what is happening & why they are in pain. They are exhausted as you say spiritually & physically. I lived in Greece for 13 years & looked after 4 stray cats. I have one left she is 16 & still going strong.

I have a rescue dog, he had a wire wound around his hips that was so tight that it cut through his body, the vet needed a 100+ stiches to fix him, he has very little teeth because he tried to bite the wire off, he is the sweetest lovable dog, medium hight and he can talk to us, loves cats, little birdies and if you can believe it humans to, because of all the stiches he receiced the rescuers called him STITCH. I 💞 him so much

Poor love, clearly he came to the couple's yard asking for help. That wire around his chest cuts into his skin and pulls on his hair every step he makes. It's so painful! Thank you, Ermioni for coming to his rescue. He's such a beautiful and gentle dog, I hope he will be adopted by good loving people.
