We named him Aris.
He is an elderly boy as he can't see, can't smell, can't hear very well .
He is positive to leismania and Erlichea, also he has kidney failure.
He had no microchip. We reported the police ,the local vets and the social but we couldn't find his previous family.
Aris will remain under our care and we will male sure he will have a good life for as long as it takes, he will take his medication, good food and lots of love .

This dog is old and almost blind but he is still beautiful like the sunshine in Greece. Thanks DAR Animal Rescue for saving his life.
What you don’t know is a lot of Greek people treat pets horribly which is why she is rescuing.
He was happy and acting like a young pup at the end. That's why I watch these dog rescue videos. They are so up lifting.

Aris is a beautiful boy.
What a sweet old boy! I have a soft heart for older dogs. He was so scared with painful bites and wounds on his body, no wonder he hid himself in the drainage pipe and got stuck. Thanks to vet's care and your team's daily work, he got well and has become curious and happy like a clumsy big puppy. The sweet boy is safe in your good hands, may he be adopted too. Bless your heart.

There are so many cruel and ignorant people in this country Education, regulation, laws and consequences for noncompliance are what is needed.. if anything is to improve for animals. It's the 21st century and some still have a mindset from 2000 years ago. As amazing as Ermionni, and a few others like her, are...there are going to be many many animals suffering from the primitive and ignorant mindset of so many individuals. And, poverty is no excuse..in fact, it is even more of a reason for changes in practice and attitudes.

Poor, Poor Baby; it was obviously a vicious attack he suffered; he looked to be rather underweight too; but such a gentle soul. Beautiful, simply beautiful dog! Ermione, with your infinite love and care for all creatures, he is in the best place to receive that love and care. My heart bled for him when I saw his wounds, but now I feel good about him; he's gonna be fine now. DAR, for me the best out there. :)
I like seeing Aris stretch, wag his tail & bounce playfully in the warm sun. He's a puppy at heart.
