We named her Harper.
Today she lives along with her new friend, an English Setter, who also was found as a stray .
Harper is a young dog ,full of energy and love .
Neutered and healthy she is looking for a forever home.

She has a wonderful spirit, and her eyes are so bright and full of life. I was afraid this was going to be where a "dog lost a leg" story. I'm glad she's recovered so well. This is a wonderful, successful dog rescue story. Thank you for caring so much for helpless creatures.

Other animals don’t usually break bones, people do. Someone cruel did this to her. Not surprising in our current world. Thank you for helping her.
You know this for a fact do you? Are you a professional vet? I looked it up to check. One of the causes of broken leg bones in dogs is rough play. A vicious attack then is going to be a potential cause. The puncture wounds from the attacking dogs' teeth are also proof. The vet was cleaning one on the dog's leg.
My small terrier was attacked by a neighbour's dog as we walked past the house. If she had been alone and the owner had not intervened the bites to her throat would likely have been fatal. This particular dog had taken a dislike to mine. Just as she has taken a dislike to a retriever who passes our house.
Thank Ermioni, the vet and all the helpers for saving the dog. I love you all.
