Hypnosis is actually a thing but not like show spiny thing and you do everything i say now. Some real hypnotists can make other people see and feel stuff that's not there, like "everyone in this room is gonna be naked" and then you see them naked even if they aren't. It's a state where you're somewhat asleep and awake at the same time, sorta like sleepwalking. It's important that the hypnotised is willing and belives in it, or else it doesn't work. It does not transcend mental barriers, so always have that in mind when dealing with hypnocreeps. Btw not saying that hypnokid is legit, he definately isn't, but hypnosis is. Only a few ppl know how to actually do it, and even fewer can induce and control that sleepwalk state, it's a very niche thing.

You also can’t even hypnotize someone if they don’t want to be hypnotized. Those people they hypnotized “without consent” were most likely just playing alone because they thought it’s funny.
