I remember memorizing that song at the age of 2 (Tennessee waltz) and my mother had me sing into a large machine that produced a record. She played it for my dad when he came home from the Navy in the 40’s

I just love this accordion player. My aunts and uncles (all gone) used to play the accordion and concertina and I miss them so.

Let me just say that I very much liked your video of Western music. If you ever make any more videos with this type of music, I would certainly like to hear you. You have a technique with Western music on the accordion like I have never heard but definitely like.

I'm afraid I use the organs only occasionally, so I'll have to leave the task of surveying the organ sounds to someone else. I know that there are some v-accordionists who have specialized in creating a variety of organ voices.

I used to play a 27-pound Excelsior when I was 6 - 15 but back surgery got me to sell it. I also play piano. I really liked you playing the theme to the Civil War Documentary. I have the sheet music to it. I don't play by ear. You seem to. I never had that ability of good pitch. But I do use lead sheets to play piano and improvise. Good luck and maybe visit my channel one day!

Very Talented, but One question... does Richard EVER Smile... while he's playing? : ) lol I've watched and listened to every video of his that I can find... so far, and he's always so "serious"... never smiles. His music would "feel" more joyful and "fun" if he, himself... at least "appeared" to be enjoying his own music making and abilities.
